Oh dear... contact of the physical variety. Squirm and worm until released from the vice like talons of the chicken man. Benjamin could gasp in relief as he was free of that predicament. An affirmation of his proposed plan. Benjamin smiled at this new development. Perfect, now their group went from two to three. It was exactly as the chicken said, six hands were indeed better than two. They could cover more ground, find more things and uncover more secrets to be turned in to the information department. It was the perfect set u-

Bunny senses... tingling! The soft swishing of a hand through the air, the movement of lips as Baram-Yu began her Words of Power. A moment where the world freezes. A choice. Benjamin made his choice. Leaping forward, like the rabbit he was he flattened into a very small form, almost a bunny arrow if you will. A mess of bun and refuse flew by overhead, slow motion on collision course with the Sun. Benjamin's face would turn to look at Baram, his smirk once again in place, as if to say; "You thought YOU were ready to challenge me?!"

Landing in a roll, Benjamin reached out, grabbing a handful of chicken tail feathers, and pulling, jerking Sun back and out of the line of fire, calling out as he did; "Hit the deck!" Safety for all. A moment of silence for the fallen bun. Standing once more Benjamin would offer a hand to Sun, an offer of aid. "Baram, that wasn't funny! You almost hit our new friend!" Turning to Sun Benjamin would offer a sincere look of remorse. "I'm sorry, she acts this way sometimes. Her idea of fun." A brief pause. "If you are quite through Baram, we should get going now." Smile in place Benjamin would turn after his offer of aid and begin walking towards the port so they could leave. "Come along. We don't have all day." A discreet cocky smirk at Baram, taunting her, the ribbing of a good friend. Benjamin 2, Baram 0.

"Winged Chun is like eating. Some people like chicken, some duck, some like fish, some like meat, but I like all kinds of good food if it's edible!"

Trained senses suddenly spiked to attention!

"In my mind's eye I sense trou--Hit the deck!" Yelled Benjamin. A tuft of Sun's tail feathers were yanked and the bird instinctively ducked, narrowly avoiding being hit by something for the third time in the passed half hour. With a wet splat the tarnished bun would become even more so once it spread its now tainted contents across the wall adjacent to them just out into the hall. Still on the ground, Sun swayed his gazed from Baram-Yu to the destroyed sweet bun half back to Baram-Yu with such confusion and sadness in his eyes.

                                                            Ow, his feelings!

His heart sank at the realization of the wolf in sheep's skin playing coy with him in saying that she loved his bun when in fact she'd used it as a prop for her mischievous plan she called a joke! His eyes quivered, tears half their size pouring from them in hefty droplets that pattered the carpeted floor below.
"B-B-But you said it was tasty..." Sun mumbled meekly. He'd listened to Benjamin's explanation. What a sick sense of humor the sheep had, "And here I was about to make you my official taste-tester." His vaguely reddened eyes turned back towards the bunny -- the real culprit of this heinous crime of food wasting -- and accepted his extended pad. With the bunny's help he got back onto his feet and slowly made his way out at Benjamin's side, sniffling his nose and fighting off more tears.

He needed to regain his composure. He could get through this! Sun was a strong hawk! *sniff* *sniff*

Baram-Yu

Minkman • Assassin • Marine

Baram-Yu’s expression transitioned from delight and satisfaction to a growing look of horror and dismayed realization as Benjamin moved to dodge her attack. That was not the issue, however. The real issue was that she took Mr. Who Rang withhim, yanking him to the floor, and as the bird-person squawked in shock, the little lamb realized that she was now in deep, deep doo-doo. From there, she could only listen as Benjamin ‘explained’ the situation to Mr. Who Rang. Her expression soured. Benjamin was a bunny, but he could weave words together as quickly as any fox. “Nuh-uh!” She began, but it was too late. The bird turned to her with tears in his eyes and sadness in his voice. Every sniffle made her heart ache, but as he went on to say that he had intended for her to be his official taste-tester, tears welled up in her own eyes.

”N-No! It’s Benjamin’s fault! He’s a big fat jerk!” She whined as she toddled after the pair, leaving the flung bun where it had fallen, and where it would likely be discovered by a janitor in three or four days.

Kasiun would head to the Information Department. Although he couldn't fill out a report on his own a couple marines who had been with him at the time filled out their reports and Kasiun signed it with his paw print.

214/150 (A Strange Omen Mission Complete)

Kasiun looked around as he sat in the information department. Sudenly he got alerted by the same person as before that he needed to do something else. Supposedly the package delivered was a trap. Kasiun looked a bit confused, but he was told he needed to go back to centaurea and defeat some pirates. Kasiun nodded and then would head off to begin his new mission.

Kasiun would awaken after a weird dream involving him running around doing pretty easy missions from the marine's mission board. He immediately noticed the alarm sounding. His den den mushi going off along with every other marine issued den den mushi around him. Speaking of a pirate attack in Lyneel. Kasiun would stand yawning and stretching before heading out to deal with this. He was sure other marines would respond soon so heading out now should have been fine.

"If what you say is true, the Winged Chun and Wool Shu could be dangerous."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTheme: Cyclone Effect

                                                            Cooking with fire!

Sun had to be a bird of his word and cook them up something grand to celebrate their first capture! After having the others wait in the lobby Sun crept his way into the kitchen while it was unmanned. Usually the messhall was off limits when it wasn't meal time and the refrigerators were locked up tight. Luckily, the points of his talons were just sharp enough to serve as makeshift lockpicks for this occasion. Because he was never taken seriously, seen more as an oversized bird than a talented chef, Sun wasn't allowed in the kitchen during normal hours. So he'd play the waiting game until all was clear before tiptoeing his way inside. Turns of talons fumbled the tumbles and all of the best ingredients -- for penny pinching, money munching marines anyway -- were available to him. He'd known what the bunny wanted, but what of the sheep? He would definitely have to make her something special, but what? How much had he known about her during the small time he's spent with them. Maybe she had a love for sweets? In fact, Sun was almost sure of it. Maybe he would bake her a cake. Pastries wasn't his strong suit but he could whip up some nice baked goods when he put his mind to it.

The bird scratched his beak before snapping his fingers in inspiration. With a few nimble leaps along the counter he'd reached the high shelf and dug out some pots and pans. Retrieving what low-grade ingredients he could Sun would turn them into high-quality delights for his companions. Given the thickness of the walls he didn't bother to be quiet while he was cooking. Chop these ingredients, puree those, keep this at a boil, lower the temperature on that. And the salt, don't forget the salt. It was a wonder how someone with talons for hands could have the delicacy of gentleness and etiquette in the kitchen, but Sun was somewhat of a prodigy; a freak of nature really.

It was amazing how he wasn't found out, Sun wasn't faring too well in the realm of being quiet but he wasn't purposefully trying to be loud either. He figured the other cooks and anyone else had been resting in their chambers given there was no threat to be had right now. There were no meals to be eaten, so there was no one in the mess hall to dilly dally around. The kitchen had been spotless when he first arrived. Despite the usual, terrible food, the bird could at least compliment his fellow Marines on keeping the place tidy. Even so, that was mostly him and those of his rank given it was usually their day-duty to make sure everything was spick and span. The bird had kept the lights dimmed as to not draw attention if any light spilled through the crevices of the closed door. He'd already known where everything was in this kitchen. All of the spices, the meats, the vegetables and fruits, everything had been memorized. And he didn't need much light to know what he was cooking. Cook time, measuring ingredients, and the like. All of that used his other senses. His sense of smell and touch, his sense of taste and sound. They became stronger when improvising and replacing his eyes; hell, he may as well have worn a blindfold. It wasn't the first time he'd cook in dim light, but it was his first time without incorrectly measuring something; he'd perfected his blind food craft.

Total cooking time: two hours, seven minutes. Not his fastest work but cooking high-end meals for three people wasn't an easy task. Having told the pair to meet him at the Information Department he was sure to make his way over in a hurry. Out of subconscious spite for the head chef on deck he didn't bother cleaning up his mess in the kitchen either. Sun was sure he'd get blamed for it but he'd be long gone before he could be ordered to clean it up. There was no proof that Sun was in here anyhow. He was the usual suspect but there were no loose feathers to tie him to the crime.

A large knapsack at his back, the food pioneering fowl made his way into the department with two silver platters in tow and a third atop his head. Leading the way to an open table, commonly used for reading and research, He'd set the platters down to form a proper triangle.
"Alright gimlets 'gather 'round." The air was filled with the aromatic scent of delectable delights. Sweet, spicy, savory, once set Sun would point each of them to sit in front of their covered dishes before pulling their lids to reveal what was underneath.

As per request he'd prepared a lovely carrot creme brulee. A pair of narrow glass bowls filled with radiant orange, carrot stuffed deliciousness coated in a blood orange reduction; tops sizzled and sealed to crisp perfection like a volcano whose top was cauterized closed before it could erupt. And for the bashful sheep, Sun baked a whole cake that could be eaten hot or cold after noticing her love for sweets. A filling Charlotte cake. A flaky graham cracker crust, its base an airy sponge whose holes were stuffed with almonds. The shimmering top layer made of a lemon zested fruit custard while the very top was littered with fresh berries and modest pineapple slices. Sun's own dish, however, remained a mystery for now.

Lastly, to pay homage to his master, the one who taught him how to cook and fight without damaging his hands, he retrieved a modest pinch of sugar and, very gracefully, let it flow from his tips and over the top of both dishes. An indoor breeze majestically carrying the final topping and calmly setting it atop their heads.

"Bon appetite!" Sun cheered proudly, his hands resting at his hips while waiting for his friends to dig into his creations.

Parting was such sweet sorrow, but Benjamin could not fault his new feather friend for his disappearing act, after all he was going to be making a delicious treat for the bunny. With their location of reunification set firmly in mind Benjamin smiled. The information Department was perfect, in fact it was such a grand idea Benjamin decided he would head to the location ahead of time. There was, after all no such thing as too much research! With a smile Benjamin turned and started walking towards the department, grabbing a hold of Baram-Yu he took off at the speed of Bunny, dragging this woolly friend behind him with only a few short words to assuage any planned that may have been ruined for the sheep. "We've got work to do!"

Upon their arrival in the information department Benjamin set about grabbing a bunch of papers, books and other assorted things to read for research purposes, shoving them all into Baram's hands so she could hold them while Benjamin searched for more. "We'll need this, and that, oh and of course we simply cannot do without this one, and this book is an absolute must read. There is just simply so much good material here!" words of praise and happiness as Benjamin entered his own little happy place, dragging Baram back to a table and organizing everything neatly on it in very obvious piles. He then sat down and began reading. Time lost all meaning to the bunny as he poured over page after page of information. He lost track of Baram somewhere after about ten seconds and hand no inclination to really find her again. Benjamin was in bunny heaven.

And then it happened. A scent reached his nose, lifting him from the fog of books. Eyes shifting up Benjamin spotted Sun, arriving with a knapsack. Eyes honed in on it. It couldn't be. It was impossible! Reality shifted for a moment as Benjamin saw the orange creamy goodness slid before him. Small tears formed in his eyes as a choir of angels sang. Golden light seemed to emanate from the dish in front of him. Carrot. Creme. Brulee. With shaking hands Benjamin reached out, grasping a spoon in somewhat limp fingers. A moment of stillness and silence. A soft popping as Benjamin's spoon breached the crispy top. One small spoonful carried to his mouth. A face of rapture overtook him and there was once again silence, and then his arms flew, moving at nigh untraceable speeds to begin scooping the delicious confection into his mouth. When it was finished Benjamin was left with a hand on his cheek, eyes closed and tears slowly pouring down his face.

"Perfect..." the soft word was all he could utter as he leaned back, an arm thrown over his eyes, spoon dangling limply from his fingers.

Baram-Yu

Minkman • Assassin • Marine

It started with a folder. It was a simple folder. Your basic folder. Flat. Light. A simple shade of tan that reminded Baram-Yu of macadamia nuts. Then there was another folder, a reddish-pink, like the color of a fish’s flesh. A stack of paper followed it. Then a book. Then another book. Then a tome that was nearly as thick as everything else that Benjamin had piled into Baram-Yu’s arms already. Baram-Yu might have been a strong, sturdy little sheep, but she could already feel sweat beading upon her forehead as the stack grew larger and larger, her expression intensifying as the weight in her arms grew heavier and heavier as Benjamin tugged her along until she was eventually allowed to set the collection down, sighing as she toddled away from the table. She was tempted to express her frustration and give the bunny a firm talking to, but just as soon as it hit Benjamin’s nose, the scent of food tantalized the sheep’s own keens sniffer.

Her ears flapped and her tail wiggled.

Before the bird even came into her line of sight, she knew that Mr. Who Rang had arrive, and as the bird did indeed appear, ushering the pair to draw in close, Baram-Yu was quick to scramble forward and pull up a seat. She watched in awe as each entrée was displayed before her and when the time came to begin feasting, she did just that.

She munched.

She crunched.

She gobbled and glorfed, scarfing and gulping, feasting with enough ravenousness to make a pig at a trough appear dignified by comparison. To her credit though, she made sure not a single crumb fell upon her surroundings.

Oh no. Baram-Yu ate it all to the last speck. She even licked the plates clean, right down to the last morsel.

Kasiun would be seen walking from the confinement area to the information department. The wolf with the marine badge on the sheath of his broadsword would pass by the Sheep, the Bunny, and the Bird heading towards the desk with a bundle of papers in his mouth. Kasiun would place the papers on the secretary's desk. The secretary would put a few more papers out after scanning through what Kasiun place up. Kasiun would dip one of his claws into the ink nearby they had gotten for him. Then signing the papers with his inked claw instead of a paw print as he had been doing before. With the papers all being done the woman would take Kasiun's badge and put a new sticker on it. He was no longer a choreboy, he was now a lieutenant. Lieutenant Kasiun...he had reached the rank of his old marine trainer. Now he simply needed to proceed past this rank.

However for the time being he wasn't sure of what else he could do. Lieutenant Kasiun would make his way over towards the small group he had seen when coming in with his papers. They were at a table...and Kasiun while he did not use chairs could at least come over to the table and speak with them. He was slowly learning normal speech, and aside from needing to practice he hadn't conversed with other marines yet anyways. Coming up to the table to wolf would speak to the group. "Hello Ferooooo," One of his words turning into almost a howl as he spoke. Clearing his throat for a moment before returning to regular speech. "Sorry...How have your jobs been going?" He asked them.

"If what you say is true, the Winged Chun and Wool Shu could be dangerous."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTheme: Cyclone Effect

Eyes widened as tears of joy were batted away before they could fall from his cheek. They loved it! They really loved it! The sheep hadn't faked her enjoyment this time either, he was sure of it! Finally! His greatness was recognized!

He felt as though he'd been given an award for best chef. Compliments were so rare around these parts that he took a moment to savor it like the last juicy morsel of a full course meat dish. This only served to ignite his burning passion for cooking! He felt accomplished but he couldn't die happy just yet. No, this only fanned the flames within him and inspired him to continue pursuing his culinary path.

Sun sat across from his satisfied customers before removing the top to his own dish. An extremely spicy but rich tofu curry filled with various spices and topped with green onions. And while the other dug into their meals, Sun wasted no time digging into his. With a large spoon he'd start shoveling the bubbling essence into his beak. His eyes welling with tears again as he chewed and swallowed, the heavenly flavors dancing along his palette before sliding into his empty stomach. He gave a delighted coo as the burning intensity of the spicy only mildly melting his innards due to him devouring something too hot for human consumption; then again, he wasn't human.

Sun always had a bit of a tongue for spicy foods. The hotter the better. For the most part he'd been largely immune given the odd glands in his body but the added kick made him feel empowered. He was aware that most people couldn't eat what he did and it'd taken him quite some time to tone down the spiciness of his cooking to fit the average palette. However, when it came to his own meals he showed no mercy on his taste buds or his gut. Through all of the heat he could still taste the rich depth of flavor that the spices had actually given the food aside from raw heat.

This recipe in particular had been a bit of a ritual for him. It was a meal he often reconstructed that was given to him by his late master. In honor of his memory Sun ate the dish for at least one meal out of the day when he could. Though the original dish was made with meat, Sun had chosen tofu. The bird wasn't entirely a vegetarian but he saw making tofu taste like something amazing as a personal challenge to hone his skills and his tongue.

They say that tofu absorbs the flavor of the dish it's in but most of the time one could hardly tell that it was even there. However, by spicing it up and adding a few extra ingredients and cooking it separately from the tofu itself before adding it, he could incorporate an entirely new depth of flavor into it. It'd become more succulent and meaty than regular tofu yet because of its sensitive and easily compromised composition it still melted in his mouth like butter. It was, by far, his favorite dish but not one on his Full Course menu. This was just his pride and joy, his signature dish! Even though he was probably the only one that could eat it and even he felt gut-wrenching pains afterward.

As he ate with his favorite companions, every now and then needing to let out a bit of heat from the overwhelming curry that nearly scorched the entire department, they were approached by a wolf. While a torrent of flames exited his mouth, via burp, Sun turned his sights towards the wolf who'd greeted the trio. Had Sun actually looked down to see the pup he probably would've singed him, but the flames would end up shooting straight out and above his head, dissipating before they could reach the front desk. With a light grin Sun took a handkerchief and wiped the excess curry from the sides of his beak. His tongue still stinging from the heat of his meal,
"Swimmingly! I've already captured my first criminal. I think I'm even going to get a promotion for it~" Sun announced with a proud thumb -- talon -- poking at his own puffed out chest. The bird didn't know who the dog was but he'd seen him a few times on base. It was hard to miss someone that wasn't human, especially given the ratio being around 50/50. He gazed down to the wolf as he took another bite of curry. Having still had a bit left he held up his platter to offer some to Kasiun. It was still bubbling just from the heated spices alone. From face value anyone could tell that it wasn't for the feint of heart. "Curry? It has some nice heat to it. I added a little bit of Tatababasco sauce in there for an extra kick!"

It would seem that three had become four. Benjamin watched cautiously for a moment as the canine entered the room, an instinctual distrust of a natural predator. Benjamin's hand left the table, sliding down to where his weapon was kept as he watched the wolf. His ears were standing straight up and his nose was giving soft twitches ever second, and then he saw the badge. A moment of confusion stole over Benjamin as he watched the desk manager stamp the badge. A rising in rank perhaps. Benjamin wasn't completely sure of what it meant, he'd never witnessed or experience it himself after all.

When the animal began to approach the trio at the desk Benjamin's tiny hand moved closer to his weapon, until the most shocking thing happened. Words poured from the canine snout in front of him and Benjamin could only stare. A talking wolf. The world never ceased to amaze. Hand moving away from his weapon Benjamin offered a confused but welcoming smile as Sun offered the newcomer some of his curry. "Hello! I'm Benjamin B. Bartholomew. This is Baram-Yu and Sun Hwaorang. Who might you be?" introductions made Benjamin sat back and awaited a response to his own question.

Baram-Yu

Minkman • Assassin • Marine

‘Was that a talking dog? What the flock?!’

The sheep’s chewing immediately stopped. Baram-Yu’s cheeks bulged, nearly forcing her to spit up the mostly-chewed food in her mouth as she let out a sudden coughing gasp of surprise that sounded somewhere on the line between laughing and choking, closer to the ladder. She rushed a napkin to her mouth, taking a few moments to regain her composure as she let her eyes settle upon the newcomer. It was a dog. Or was it a wolf? Probably a wolf.

That only made things stranger.

It was a flocking wolf.

Not a wolf minkman.

Not a werewolf.

Not even a wolffish fishman.

He was just a wolf.

A wolf with a sword.

Weird.

It was then, and only then, that Baram-Yu came to the conclusion that the Navy accepted all manner of strange candidates. She couldn’t help but wonder how the application process went. Did the wolf toddle into the Navy’s local office with a flyer in his teeth snatched from a trash can? Or perhaps he was from a long, long line of noble Navy wolves? Truly there wasn’t a more fearsome pack of seawolves in the all the Blues if that were the case. Still, her mind was still trying to process the fact that despite everything, the Navy accepted animals into their ranks.

Thus, she stared, eventually resuming her chewing as she did. She didn’t seem to mind that Benjamin handled the matter of introductions for them. Her attention was completely fixated on the creature before her. She still couldn’t get over it.

A talking wolf.

Huh.

Funny how nature do dat.

And when he spoke again, goodness, her jaw would just drop!

Taking a moment to think about the situation, the bunny seemed to be understandably a bit on edge. It made sense, he was practically Kasiun's prey were they not somewhat civilized beings. The chicken seemed to be the least worried about him, and it seemed the sheep nearly choked to death right there. Kasiun wasn't exactly sure what to think however for the time being someone answered his question and someone else introduced the three of them to him. Kasiun would nod first to the person who answered his question. Sun? "You've captured your first criminal? That is a good thing, keep up the good work." Kasiun said, before quickly turning his attention to the bunny that introduced them all. "I am Kasiun, as of moments ago I've been promoted to Lieutenant." Kasiun explained to them then would once more refer to the bird who asked if he wanted some of the curry. Kasiun looked at it for a moment and then back to the bird. "Uhm, if it does not have meat in it, it will make me sick." He said to Sun before thinking of what else he could do. Kasiun was obviously not much of a talker. He more often than not avoided contact with others, and being able to talk didn't change that part of him. It was clear that he wasn't sure what to say or do at this point, that he was a socially awkward individual.

"If what you say is true, the Winged Chun and Wool Shu could be dangerous."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTheme: Cyclone Effect

Hesitant? Why was everyone so hesitant? The wolf was just talking regularly.

Sun took a quick scan of the room and while Benjamin still greeted him it appeared that both the bunny and sheep were on edge, Baram-Yu more noticeably so with her awkward gawking in between open chews of the mouth. Sure, the wolf was their natural predator and under usual circumstances probably would've made a meal out of them, but they were much more civilized than that. Seeing himself as a type of animal as well, Sun wasn't caught off-guard when Kasiun spoke the human tongue. It wouldn't have mattered to the bird anyway since he was also fluent in animal-lingo; the true universal language; unless you were human anyway.

Where Sun was from all Minkmen and animals understood one another. Though the origin of their kind originated from the same island, groups had branched off to form tribes scattered all across the world. Human-tongue was as commonplace as speaking to someone in animal-tongue. Sun had come from an eastern tribe but maybe his companions originated from more feral, more humble beginnings where speaking Human wasn't necessarily a thing among everyone. He blinked several times in confusion. Maybe Sun was the odd one here, what he saw as normal would usually bewilder other people. This went double when it came to his unique eating habits.

He'd grin and give a quick salute from the wolf's words of encouragement but then glanced back down to his curry. A lieutenant? He must've made quite the name for himself already. Sun was going to keep up the effort so he wouldn't get left behind. He'd already made his first arrest and had been promoted. Once he became a Lieutenant then maybe he would finally get more respect around these parts and he could show off his cooking more to the higher ups. If he played his cards correctly, maybe he would become the sous chef at the Marine Headquarters out in Marinefold!

A talon scratched his cheek as he shook his head.
"Nah, not this dish. I'll cook and eat meat, but on most occasions I usually eat vegetarian. Had I known I would've thrown some chicken in there." He gave a feint, somewhat embarrassed laugh as he wrapped his knuckles -- did he have knuckles? -- against his thick skull a few times. The chicken part sounded like a terrible, ironic joke, but Sun was serious; he did, in fact, eat chicken. They were all part of the food chain, if it was a common food among most things and it tasted good then he'd cook it up.

Had he known they would be receiving an extra guest he would've cooked up something special for the canine. A carnivore through and through from the looks of it, it wouldn't have been too difficult to make something for him to devour. He knew dogs didn't have tastebuds so actual flavor probably didn't matter as much to them as smell and texture did. However, could the same be said for the wolf? The bird wondered if he enjoyed spicy things as well. A nicely crisped-skin pork belly marinated in a special spicy sauce probably would've been something that Kasiun could enjoy. And Sun just so happened to know where the head chef kept his secret stash of meat top notch ingredients that he'd been hoarding from the rest of the crew. And with his talons he was even skilled at picking locks. However, the wolf made no fuss about not eating anything so while Sun was willing to go out of his way to prepare him something, he wouldn't complain so as long as Kasiun hadn't.

Unfortunately, now his palette was hungry for some pork but he doubted that they had enough time for him to whip up another dish for them. He still had quite a surprise awaiting them that was stowed away in his backpack; maybe the canine could smell it? He would definitely have the nose for it out of anyone else here.

After a stagnant pause to let his, less than tasteful but not so false, joke sink in he'd turn his sights back to the wolf as he continued to scarf down his curry.
"So me and these two were just having a bite to eat before probably heading back out into the field. What brings you here, Kasiun? You getting information on some big-named pirate like a Yonkou or something?" He questioned with a mouthful of food. Even though the wolf would only be a rank or so above him, Sun's naivety led him to believe that their responsibilities were worlds apart in terms of difficulty. They were probably around the same level of strength though.

His thoughts of the responsibilities in between their ranks were highly exaggerated. He figured that once a Marine hit a certain rank their lives would under go a drastic change. They'd become spies, agents, men of action who took on the most dangerous of missions and had gone after the most dangerous pirates in all of the Blues. They would travel to the New World for business and for pleasure. Eat the fanciest foods, sleep in the most luxurious of beds, and combat the toughest opponents! That was the life that Sun wanted. It sounded so lavish, so exciting! Sure, people died every now and then but they lived a great life and Sun definitely wanted to take part in that.
