The mouse have become the dog? Everyone has a dog in them. A fight in them. A reason to fight. Well yes this would piss off anyone. And it seemed this guy was getting a little pissed off now. Why was he speaking in such a matter that only a person who has taken a all of the intelligent courses in the marines headquarters, would understand. Honestly, it only proved that conflict was going to end up happening. What will happen? More importantly, would this cause chaos among the marine unit. Much more importantly. The girl these two marines were fighting over. It didn't occur to him and hell it probably didn't occur to Sakura what Aya would think if she heard any of this. Sighing he listened to Sakura more and looked around. "Whatever you say. Anyhow, this is man talk. It stays between us two. No use spreading rumors. No use snitching. Just let things play out on it own. However, I will say this. If you really like her. And remember, you may not wanna trust me now so that may be why you speaking like you're some Mozart. But, if you really like her and you see she like you. Don't let opportunity slip through your hands. We don't know much time we have on this earth you know. We must enjoy it while we can." The other marine stated. Thinking about everything that was said. He had a good point. Some good points. Actually considering his words. That made him think about another marine for a moment. Who truly caused his death. Sakura didn't know it would break and cause him to fall to his death. However, he did not know for sure that it wasn't. He only knew so much. For example, yes it happened, but what if he pulled off what the other marine wanted him to do. Would he even be a marine? Would he even be able to live with himself for doing it. The other marine stated as his tension realized. He finally looked normal for one. He was not shaking and he was on the verge of fighting like the beast within. He could unlock that beast on the path of marines. On the path to victory. The path of a marine. Taking advantage of this moment. They probably would seem closer or at least more understanding of each other. At least, he thought of himself more understanding of Sakura. However, you never know what people think and someone like him you can never predict whether his next word will be Plato or porn. That was just an assumption though, but it was one he was now able to make. And if he makes an a** out of himself? So what? At the end of the day, it would be worth it. Backing up, the marine held out his hand which was in a fist and waited. The marine stated. It was a pact. An agreement. It was something that he wanted to do. If all went well, this incident would just be like a brotherly thing in a sense. With males there are always a vibe. A sense of danger. A sense of tension. However, unlike females, males ends up being from the most hated enemies to the best of friends while they usually fight each other and keep stupid grudges.

A dog could fight as much as it wanted, until it was put down. The problem was what put it down. Was the other marine going to become a problem, so much of one that Sakura would have to knock him down a bit? It seemed that Sakura spoke a bit "higher" then the other marine did, which was not that much of a problem to Sakura . Not everyone had to understand him, they just had to work along side him. The problem was, that if they had problems how would the marine unit be affected? Everyone would be affected, as well as Aya. He did not want her in any pain, for any problems to come between them because of one person. The other marine and Sakura should of just hit each other, a quick one two combo where some blood was spilled. That would solve all of this, because words could blind while fists gave the hard facts. It seemed that the marine wanted to avoid something like that all together, for he began to speak about what he should and shouldn't do. He nodded at this Man Speak that they were now about to abide by. Could he not have just said man code? Could they not have shaken hands? It was whatever as Sakura nodded to it staying between them, not spreading rumors and Snitching. Sakura said something laughing to himself. He stopped when the other marine spoke about not letting opportunity slip through his hands, which made Sakura's head drop a bit. The other marine was right, somewhat. No one lasts forever, and how long would Sakura be able to enjoy Aya before someone tried to take her away from him? Would she even leave him if she had the choice? He might have to talk to her alone, but then he did not know where she was. He sighed, before the other marine said that he was right. Of course I'm right, I said it Sakura thought as he listened to the marine. He stopped when he spoke about promises, that you could make a promise until something opposed it. Sakura asked another question. Taking apart everything the marine was stating. The marine still had childish outlooks of the world. Someone who had not fully grown up, but then Sakura did not know his back round, he did not know if the other marine had to or not. What type of world was it where a boy had to be a man before he hit the correct time? Who needed puberty anyway? You could grow before your body even allowed it to happen. Look at the Jackson's, how Michael never was allowed to be a kid because his father wanted more. Michael grew up to be weird, but Sakura grew up to be strong, Bold. The other marine then backed up, holding his hand out in a fist. Was this the moment when they were gonna throw blows at each other? Would their fists do the real talking. Sakura began to prepare a fighting stance, when the other marine began to talk again. It seemed they both had a goal, almost parallel to each other. Sakura could watch the world burn, and could even help to make it burn. If he threw his sense of justice away, became that demon that lurked in the shadows then who would stop him? That was the problem though, for who would actually stop him? Would he be gunned down by marine headquarters? Would a marine unit mate have to make a major decision? What if he ended up hurting all of them, Aya included? Sakura did not move, more watching the other marines fist. His heart thumped, louder and louder it went as he raised his fist closer to the other marines. Sakura said something as his fist met the other marines. It was official now, they had made the choice to watch the world burn, to set flames and make it anew. Would they become saviors in the eyes of other riders, or would they just be dreaded demons that crawled trough the marine headquarters, their dreams consumed by the very fires that they had made?

Sakura was getting pissed off!

Aya the sister sighed as she carried a few notes to the next marine training before noticing that two of the marines were standing by the fountain. Talking and skipping out on combat training. Pushing some glasses up on her face she rolled up her papers and headed straight over to them. Although her hair was the same style as before Aya was in much different attire, wearing a white button-down shirt and a pair of dark colored pants. The shirt was untucked and covered at mid-level with a tan belt, which matched the off-beige jacket she wore. Her shoes were flat running sneakers that were black and only looked partly professional. Her strides were confident and long, however quite silent compared to the two marines conversation. Once she was in arms length she smacked both of them on top of the head with the rolled up notes while speaking in fluid Japanese.

Aya the girl they were fighting after. Looked over at the other marines with wide-eyed surprise. Aya asked something as she removed her glasses and put them away. Aya sighed a bit and pressed her hand to her forehead. Aya started muttering to herself in Japanese as she tried to figure out what to do. If anything she needed some sort of excuse for why they'd missed their combat training. Since she'd actually seen them out-side of the marines trainings. As she thought about it Aya decided not knowing anything was the best answer and she unfolded her notes. Sakura noticed that the girl they were fighting after. Had been here, and it was time to make. Some quick decisions. And fast!

Sakura seemed to be doing well, and only meant well with his words. The other marines military grades were B's straight and nothing else. Sakura didn't need to strive to high, too low, he just did his work and sat in the back. No marine teacher would notice that he had taken a little leave, they never did. He came to marine training, did some work and left, nothing else to say. Maybe his marine teacher felt pity for him or something, for that kid who sat in the back and did his work, but said nothing. They never really called him, to answer, to read or write. They knew he was there, but that was all about it. Aya said tummy! Sakura could not help but laugh when he heard tummy emit from Aya's mouth. Sure she explained all the other crap she had to do today, but all that was broken when he heard the word Tummy. If she wanted food, they would go get food? Sakura had planned to head to another part of the headquarters, or whatever to do some cardio later anyway. They had hurt her papers, but the laughing would only hurt more, he could tell. She had forgotten lunch in her small bag. Sakura could bring her lunch later, or just sneak her something. Sakura could climb the walls like a fool and toss it to her and be gone. That was a funny image to see in his head, but then Sakura became tactful. Base, Turf, Alias, all of these were needed. Sakura said something as he thought the other stuff over. A base sounded so nice, like an air line strip. Who could expect a marine unit to think like that; but it was only a dream. They could take over the trains, something he loved and use that as a base. That sounded like loads of fun, something that might work. Aya stated marine units were out of her league. Other marines being the weakest link. Sakura said something else with a small smile.

Sakura shook his head. He's been wanting to do some training for quite sometime. However, he don't think he was that weak now. Sakura may be a little rusty and need to learn a few things though. However, Sakura didn't consider himself to be awful. Sakura believed. He took no offense to Aya's words. She said him and that other guy were the weak links. It was the truth. Nothing around it. Nothing can fake it. Nothing can change it. Seriously, he was now getting lost in the mechanics of being a marine Yes, he was on the marine unit, but he had a lot to learn .It was obvious he probably will never match up with those two. Unless he had a break through. Going back to the words of Aya. Sakura got the picture. So, others were saying he needs to take over things and train. Marine units must be very strong if we can't even mention them. Sakura whispered. He was taking Aya's words a little too literal but he got what she was putting down so to speak. Marine headquarters was something they need to show their strength but not exactly a necessity in his eyes. A base would be though. Alias. That was more of a street credit thing in which he didn't have one .He always just been Sakura. What would be his name? Hmm. Taking it into account in his mind. Marines of the Marine headquarters. Yet, Sakura was thinking of something more epic. In conclusion, he came up with The Knight. My Alias will be the Knight or The Strong. Sakura belived and thought some more, as he walked away and thought about things as he looked around. West Marine headquarters would be an interesting start. Sakura considered. Ultimately, he probably had little say in these things. Training before anything. Sakura agrees with other marines on that. As of now, only us two know any tricks and have experience. Sakura stated as he thought more about that. Sakura probably should start participating in some fighting, and capturing pirates, soon. Or training at the base with combat training. Any others then he wouldn't know about. Training he be at disadvantage for obvious reasons. Other stuff, well he could win some easy ones of that. No lies. However he would prey on the weak. A coward's way of handling things and ranking up in the world, but yet he did not have a choice. Sakura needed to get stronger. He needed to get stronger very fast indeed. It was a critical situation. Sakura did not wanna hold them back. That would not be right for him to do. Not as a marine unit teammate. Not as a "friend" to speak. When everything is settled. Sakura was thinking about doing practice fighting with some others and just basically hang out. Just because I'm on a marine unit doesn't mean I can't socialize right? Sakura stated. Did he just build his own grave or was he simply just expressing the thoughts of others as well as him. Sakura would have to do some things on his own. Or was this going to be the time where the fight begins. Would the other marine punch him in the face and initiate a struggle of stupidity. Thought dominance? You think wrong.

Sakura knew he was weaker then the rest, that he needed some training and work. Sure it would take time, but addressing the problem was the first start fixing it. They all needed to get some work in, move a bit faster and hit a bit harder then before. Training was always a good option, and there was always room for improvement, among all of them. A high ranking marine reached their status by reaching the top, beating all others. Sure some were born into what they had, but not in storm riding. You had it, or you died, simple as that. Marine units, oh that could come later, for marine units were just starting. Right now they did need a small fan base, a small claim of turf to themselves so people knew they existed. Alias, well that was simple for him. Sakura is simply, Harbinger. Sakura thought as he looked to other marines. Who picked what seemed to be a Spanish name. His choice to pick that name, well that was ok then. There was a shrug from Sakura before he heard him talk about the marine headquarters. Did anyone have any parts over there? They would find out, all word was taken. They had to train, and some matches would be fun but it had to come in strides. They could all have some fun, but they did not need to go crazy. Sakura then opened his mouth about socializing, which made other marines raise a brow. Sakura was not a tyrant but a marine unit stuck together right? Sure they could go off and come back to meet other people, but a marine unit hung out so nothing happened to each other when one was alone, so that no one could get jumped or hurt. Sakura sighed, not even addressing what that topic any more. They were both stubborn, but it was becoming more along the lines of stupid then anything else. The sister Aya, began to talk, which caused Sakura to just melt. She had info, plans and anything else to get the job done. She was a born tactician, a woman after his own heart. She spoke so rough, so true that Sakura was silent until the end. Sakura let her speak, filling his soul with the flame that burned within hers. Oh this marine unit was going to go somewhere, but the problem was where? Would their morals blind them? Would they end up being the problem instead of the help? Time would only tell.

Sakura walked back to the other marine, and Aya with a shrug. He could tell other marine wanted to say something in which that would make sense. Sakura was not saying he would go for himself. Even if he was thinking that, he already knew he would not truly be alone. Someone would be watching his back. He was not the stupid one to go into untold territory and just ask to get jumped. Oh no. Aya would probably look over him or the other marine especially because he would be a loose end that he probably don't want to get away or heck. Sakura probably consider him part of the marine unit. Or the trust issue. Trust issues by the dozen and in all honesty once you think about it on the trust issue it would of been a lot better if those two would of just beat the holy s**t out of each other. Seriously, the fight would of just ended with bam bam, punch to face. Bam. Punch to the eye. Then bam, upper cut! You're going to jail now. However, Sakura wanted to avoid this because he was a peaceful soul. How long will that last parse? Not long. As a matter of fact, it is possible that Sakura is going to be one of the bloodiest marines ever. Now if it'll be his blood or not. Good question. Probably won't know till later on. Little did they know, the fire had already started. Yet the city remains so they need to hurry up with gasoline. Anyhow, thinking more on the tacticians words, he shrugged. Someone train me us? Wait. That means other marines would be training Sakura? He didn't know about that. Could be a double bladed sword. Sakura thought jokingly as he analyzed things. Even though he was messing around, other marine training him. More male talk and more tension. Oooh looks like the fight is going to happen but at a whole new level. A simple combat training seession can turn into a bloody fight. However, he probably could learn a few tricks from him as well that would help him grow stronger. However, would he? That is a big question and the answer he was not even sure. Then again, for his motives, other marine gotta have to help Sakura because if not he would risk it all. Another girl ehh? He guessed we're set aren't we? Just need practice. I know i need to learn tricks. Sakura whispered to himself. If they heard him. Then great. If not. It didn't matter.

Sakura was an odd child, and a child none the less. Sakura would of wanted them to all stick together, to all be around each other if a problem came about. They would all take the pain together, not have one suffer and slowly put themselves back together. They could all be in the hospital recovering if something bad happened, not riding around that someone got better. Another sigh escaped Sakura mouth, but that was all that would come out from his mouth on this topic. The whole tension between them was rising very high, enough that Sakura only pointed at the other marines, his body moving before he could. You, Me, over in section 3 of the marines headquarters later. Were gonna settle this with our feet, not our fists! Sakura said, almost yelling. That was what a real marines did. Fought with their feet and let their actions decide what they did. At least for some situations. In other situations your goal might be to end the life of the person you were facing, but not the point for this moment. It also grew with the words that Sakura spoke about him, causing veins to rise in Sakura head. This kid would be such a problem, but if they got this anger out, oh it would be good, it would be settled and fixed, at least for Sakura. It went from another matter to simple male problems. It was a bit sad, and with Aya giving them a look, it just blew over. The situation changed when sister Aya, shouted something and looked through her phone. Aya sister was searching for something, and when it came to light. Sakura gave yet another sigh. They did need a nurse, someone to fix them up and make them more suited for battle. What army did not have its craftsmen? Where would one of those even be found? Sakura mumbled as he looked to his marine shoes. Sakura wished that he had his weapons. That he could claw all over his marine headquarter buddies with them. And get a bit of a word out, but he knew it would not happen like that. Sakura sighed, pushing his hands through his hair.

They were gonna duke it out, oh blows would fly. Fist for fist and a good one two combo in which one was knocked on their a** and saw the ceiling. Blood would be spilled, but who did not need to shed some blood once in a while? If Sakura knew what marines were thinking about, about the cards that were so popular, he might of struck up such a conversation that it would of been weird for anyone to hear. Tuners did fix things, bring them together and fix things. Sakura was the first to be a high ranking marine? Sakura was the first to be able to claim the sea's for the marines. Even if he was stuck to the ground for now. Sakura perked up with the battle idea in the marine headquarters. No no, were just gonna settle some things, thats all. Sakura thought with a smile. They were men, they needed to settle it like men would. Hand to hand combat, in which victor took all. If Sakura lost, he would accept it, and he thought the other marine to be exactly the same. This was the first part to making a bond, to make them feel more connected. If anything, Sakura could be higher rankers right hand man over weaklings. But that could be determined on how each others fists flew. For now, it was time to go back to the whole marine thing, in which Sakura did have a point. Marines were just like all other business people in the world. They did their work, and filled out their contracts, making their money as much as the next person who came along. They would know others, and honestly a tuner was a dime a dozen. Finding one and keeping one could be a hassle. Hassle would continue as Sakura was hit atop the head once more, sister Aya even more mad. Aya had to understand how men were, how they wanted to beat each other up as much as possible, then shake hands the next. Fights bring people together, sometimes. Sister Aya stomped off, mad at them. Had the testosterone gone too far? He looked to other marine, the words of not letting her slip through his fingers echoing in his head. Sakura looked to other marines, walked over him and patted his shoulder, before quickly running after Aya. He did not want her upset because he had been stupid, because he could not make her happy with how stupid he was being. Sakura ran, catching her with her eyes clothes as she held some emblem. He said nothing, looking at her as she stood there with her eyes closed, thinking. Did he say anything? What would he say? Oh I'm sorry I'm a male a** who does male things because I am a male a typical stupid response that he thought about. Why did he chase her, to look more like a fool? The other marine should of stayed with Sakura, but here he was, not moving, shaking a bit and sweating, like a male would when they were in love.

Sakura sighed. Well rumor has it and people who were skipping probably was listening to them and started to spread rumors as they speak. Oh ********. Now they were in for it. Aya didn't like what they were talking about at all and she was going to let them know it heavily. Sakura was not trying to make her mad. Sakura was just trying to get along with other marines, and yet burning the world would mean beating the s**t out of each other then in the long run it would be worth it. However, Aya probably didn't understand this and can you really blame her? Men were sophisticated creatures in which sometimes he couldn't even tell what the heck was wrong with his sex. However, he did what any person would do in this situation. Sakura stood his ground. A fight was brought up. He had to deal with it. However, her words kind of hurt him as well. He had theories on marines and he may not know the history or the facts behind the man's attitude. He knew one thing for sure, he had something for sister Aya and that probably hurt him as well. The other marine was right about it in the end when he heard Sakura's words. He didn't respond to them when he said they were going to settle things? Settle things? That was an understatement in the very least. Writing a bond. That was more what it was about. Looking away from that, he looked at other marine. The pat on his shoulder, that kind of was unexpected but he probably did it because of his words. For that, he smiled. He wasn't gonna let her get away and should not. Not wanting to impose or bother the man with this, he bowed and started to walk away. As he strolled along, he whispered something. Sakura see's you coming back down. Sakura made it to the opening where he could exit and then stopped as he looked back. Sakura saw Aya and other marine. Sakura didn't say anything but that was okay. He didn't let her slip through his fingers. That what counted. You should take care of her. Sakura said to the other marine. Keep her in your arms. Sakura stated to himself as he left and started to head to the roof. A lot was on his mind, but one thing was for sure. Sakura was actually less of an a** then he seemed.

How long had he been here? That question almost flew by him like a jet about to crash. It felt like he had been standing there forever, even by just watching her, he did not need time to move. Sakura could stay here, with her and not let the world continue to fly by, but that was stupid. How could Sakura feel so strong for Aya, yet she showed signs that she felt nothing. Why was Sakura poisoning himself, fighting for something that did not seem to want to fight back? Was he just being stupid; to try and chase someone who would continue to walk away from him? Could Sakura say to her. Sakura wish you were mine, mine alone, that I could make you shine like all the stars in the sky. Sakura could make you fell wonderful, like you do too me? Could those words emit from his mouth? Could Sakura drag himself to spit out words from his mouth with a risk of pushing her away. He did not want to hear the words No. That among all was something he did not want to hear from her. Sakura was never told no before, but for this he did not want to have that feeling at all. Sakura wanted the other marine, you go out and get it. Nothing can hold you back, your not chained to anything but your word and you actions Those were the words of his father during his own ramblings, or when he was trying to actually be a father. These honestly were the only words of the other marine ever really listened too, but then he was five. Those were actually the last words Sakura ever listened too, or more remembered in his mind that stuck with him. Sakura has been here not too long, just wondering. The marine said as he stood up a bit straighter. He needed to calm down right? Sakura could simply talk with her, get to know how she truly felt? That's how it should work right? How do you feel? Sakura asked her, his mouth stopping him from adding the word me at the end. How come it could say those words, but not the other ones that were really important? How come something pushed him forward yet still held him back? Sakura clasped his hand over his mouth, watching her with a bit of shock. Sakura had no reason too, but in the moment of thought, that's all that his body could do.

After the incident in the marines headquarters, Sakura was kind of pissed. He couldn't even sit down and enjoy a simple snack without some random person having to come and bother him. Sakura wouldn't of mind if they came to chat or needed a favor. Hell, Sakura would of even let them borrow some money if they only asked, but no. People these days couldn't even ask for money but think the first thing they needed to do was steal money from others. Luckily, Sakura wasn't a bloody killer and was reserved shy Sakura. If he was not, he would of beaten the living hell out of that guy. What made it worse, the form he took to catch him would or at least should, give off the aura that he was a marine. Not like he was saddened that people would know. It was just the fact that other marine units may know. He still didn't know who could be called a friend and who could be called an enemy. Walking down the hall, he came across a weird sight as he made it to the corridors. Who the ******** killed someone now? Looking closer to it, he was not dead. Well as far as Sakura could tell. He could of been dead in his ego department or mentally. Though, who cared about that. His thoughts wandered but he just let it be. Assessing the damage, he would only be able to get over these pathetic losers by sparring. The man's blood must have leaked like a hose because the floor was fully covered like a pond. Backing up a bit, Sakura ran forward and jumped at an angle towards the corridors and used his feet to propel them open and he barely made it over the blood and outside and in the area of the others. Making sure he kept his balance, Sakura started to walk towards Aya. That was his big mistake because someone was there he didn't think he would see. An outreach. Sakura outreached for Riviere and he was not expecting her to actually be there. It shook him to his core. Love struck? You could say that but it wasn't something that could just happen. Sakura knew she was a strong marine, so the outreach was just something that Sakura should of done. Sakura knew her from a while ago. However, she changed, she changed a lot to him. They say pictures speak louder than words but her presence spoke volumes in which Sakura could never comprehend. Going into his shy corner realm of his mind, Sakura walked forward and looked at Aya and Riviere but he did not look them in the eye. He just looked kind of off to space but tried his hardest to make sure no one would notice this. Aya would find it strange and if she figured it out her mind would most likely process what was going on in Sakura head. Hello there! Sakura stated shyly. Remember the mall incident? Sakura could barely look at a cute girl without looking away and staying to himself. Now he had to confront one. Not for personal interest but for the sake of his marine unit. However, it didn't mean Sakura did not have any personal interest in her. Oh no. That would be a huge mistake for any person to assume. Waiting, Sakura quietly rubbed his shoes on the ground. Some blood got on them after all. Curse the idiots that caused themselves to get beaten up. Sakura did not know if it was Riviere that did it or someone else. Something caught his attention though. Another marine wasn't there. Where did the leader go? Did something go bad between him and Aya . Oh, he was going to worry about this if he could remember it. He looked at Riviere again and the troubles were gone and he was struck yet again. Hopefully he would not receive an uppercut to the chin for his looks. Sakura thought he wasn't staring parse, Sakura was admiring and looking away. Sakura liked her in the past. When they met before he liked her then. However, he considered her out of his league and now she was joining the team. Did he have a shot? More importantly, was it known that he liked her back then. Hell, Sakura probably still does now. But there comes the question. How smart was Riviere? Would she know? Oh things got interesting. His marine unit gotten stronger and things were going to be crazy. Still, they were going to change the world. That was a fact.

Chance. The self-contained disappointment of knowing she was only a luck of the draw that’s all, the stinging pain he expected to be in his heart was actually was just a clarification of a previous realization; He was nothing to her but a card drawn twice. The ultimately infatuated Sakura was crushed to specks of dust to blow in the wind of this sylph and be forgotten the moment the last dust particle left her elegant breeze…to remain only a momentary stranger who shared a single moment of cohesive unity and to realize such a harsh truth of eventually being forgotten by the one he’d continue to think about. The thought of her alone could’ve shattered the already poor soul of the quiet male if he wasn’t so accustomed and friendly with the feelings of being alone. Forgetting was something he couldn’t do as every thought and every image of his oh so expanding life lingered in his mind to the day he would ascend, possibly through the process of thinking himself to death by an over dramatic rampancy. The walls of his consciousness closing in on him until he suffocates due to the lack of breathing room, then to be crushed by his own thoughts as the flashing images of all those he held dear at one point or another encompass the walls that slowly but surely drove him mad…she would eventually be his end. It would be bittersweet, his final breath taking place remembering all those he held close, all the fond moments he had but the unavoidable would be the true final moment; all at once they all left in the same mental screen that was split into many smaller screens to play them all and to get it hammered into his brain that forever never existed. It was a single word in the dictionary, from the moment of its creation the hope it created for humanity was cherished like the people to a tyrant, he thrived off his people being fearful as they thrived off the hope of being with another significant for a very long time.

Why was Sakura paranoid the moment she left the fountain? Sakura eyes followed her cautiously as he hadn’t known of her sparked interest in the glass winged butterfly that gracefully scanned for nectar to scavenge. As she lowered herself near a flower – that was barely visible from this point of view – he would let out a small sigh of relief knowing that she hadn’t left him once again to fend for himself, not in any sort of angle in which he could see her touching moment with the butterfly Sakura would simply stay put and frozen in the invisible carbonite imagined as if he was Solo. The eyes of the silent Sakura would gaze off in no specific direction as he simply looked at the world from a broader stand point and took in his surroundings for not just its specifics but the bigger picture, and how displaced this marine headquarters really was as it dominated the small patches of foliage that still remained after the obvious purge to properly build the learning facility. Somehow, she disturbed the industrial picture painted before him, globalization seemingly disrupted by a single frame of a girl raising up with a butterfly; it was heartwarming somewhat to see that the human race as an individual still held members who cared for the environment that allowed them to thrive what feels like an eternity but was nothing in comparison to the age of the universe as a whole. Her locking of eyes with him and siren voice broke his globe of thought as the image of her now raised and asking if a greenhouse existed in a preferably close vicinity shocked him somewhat as he held no answer for this, Sakura couldn't say yes or no because he simply didn't know. It made not a single fiber of sense to him as to why he had no answer. Sakura hung his head in disappointment, Sakura held no answer and would simply shrug and break the link between their eyes as Sakura intended to speak. Sakura did not know…we could search. Sakura spoke so suddenly that he initially didn't expect to even say anything, but the nonchalant voice would add another fragment of speech that could be seen as a motive of a date in the social aspect; a boy, a girl, and a butterfly looking for a greenhouse, it was somewhat beautiful but bone chilling, it was a feeling he wished Sakura could have…forever.

Dad, was this was you meant that day?

Things were looking up for the young Sakura now, finally his heart was leading and no longer his scattered brain. The thoughts of forever no longer lingered as Sakura could only form a smile. This feeling, Sakura couldn't explain it nor did any past experiences ever allude to once having it, as she repeated that one word his eyes closed and the usual darkness was replaced with a constant flashing of a myriad of images. Sakura couldn't keep up with the pace of these images and wasn't in control of what was displayed. The one image Sakura did see though made him open his eyes quickly as the feeling before even the watering of eyes happened. A shortness of breath that wasn't too noticeable, a rush of emotion with not a single attempt of comprehension of it. Mainly because he didn't want to try and understand what this feeling meant, how this girl changed him so quickly and why Sakura felt what Sakura understood from a logical stand point all shatter underneath his feet without leaving him with proper footing. Sakura had slipped up on a single feather from her white wings, falling to what seemed like his doom but was rather her warm embrace, and as Sakura fell his mind leaked all the information gathered; Every single previous assumption gone and to be replaced with confusion and emotion, specifically the one Sakura previously despised and never understood.

Sakura wasn't a man so he couldn't just outright say it, nor could Sakura write it down; For Sakura was a mere child in big boy clothes, having to use the childish version of the term instead of the term itself as he would take off his face mask and turn it to face himself. Pen in hand, Sakura closed his eyes and awkwardly tried to cover his smile with his right hand as Sakura wrote down on his face mask with his left. Sakura was not one for sugar coating things of this caliber, of course when he had no other way to express his emotions in such a in the moment sequel situation. Looking up constantly to make sure she didn't catch a peek he would finish up quickly as she took a step forward, Sakura looked into her eyes and then broke away nervously...she was really good at doing that. Sakura waited for the moment she began to walk off as Sakura held his breath momentarily to puff out his chest, something he saw the manlier guys do whenever they did something out of the ordinary. As Sakura placed on the face covering with the utmost confidence, Sakura was- no they were off to find the greenhouse together, side by side with a butterfly as the marine unit leader so to speak. Catching up to her with a two wider steps, Sakura would walk by her left side with hands in his pockets and his eyes looking towards the ground. With each patter of their feet touching the ground Sakura would grow more and more nervous and that burst of confidence would wither away as quickly as it came. What am I doing...this isn't me, what if she walks away?

The right side of his facial covering had written on it, I like you, please don't leave so suddenly next time. and as Sakura blinked rapidly in hopes of her never noticing it Sakura knew he that he had a chance at forever; Maybe even speak casually once they reached the greenhouse if everything went the way Sakura's heart seemed to anticipate. A big risk with a slither of a chance at a reward, not ever once looking at her since they began to walk in an unknown section of the marine headquarters. Sakura waited for the break of synced footsteps or a break in silence, which ever it was it ate him up inside knowing he really took this step towards a forever. Mentally hoping they never reached the greenhouse, Sakura assumed that once they reached the destination it would be the last he would see of her. The objective of saving the butterfly was over and she was to fly away as it would; It was no longer a want for her existence to be real, he just wanted to be by her now. The sun kissed angel with no name.

"Heh." Sakura whispered under his breath, Sakura hoped she didn't hear...he just needed to repeat those words one more time.

With the incident at the rooftop dissolve the pair headed away. A fresh cut upon his cheek caused by a sharp razorblade thrown by none other than his female cohort. The sting was pleasant as was the kiss to the wound that followed directly after. Her words were sharp but her lips were full and delicate, though he knew that she'd only kissed him to lap up his scarlet drippings; there was an art to what she did and it was something he'd taken an immediate liking to. The two vacated the area after Aya's parting words with her apparent brother, a wicked Fox grin curved his lips and shut his lids as he peered back to the when Aya had called Sakura. To Sakura he looked like nothing more than some enraged peasant trying to get upon the royal pedestal by sucking up to the actual Sakura. Whoever this Mother person was held some sort of dominion over these people, the marines had broken free apparently, rather, he'd been abandoned by his family. Poor child, no wonder he harbored so much rage, no matter, it didn't concern him so Sakura hadn't cared in the slightest. However, it made him wonder. If there was a marine in charge of this bunch then was there another marine responsible for another group? Questions, questions, so many questions, none of which had had the information to answer. He'd keep a close watch on these two, Aya especially. Maybe he'd discover something interesting. The pair headed down the stairwell and through the corridors until reaching the four corners of the school, the quadrangle. It was a widened space and there hadn't been many people here. People coming and going yet no one seemed to have paid them any mind since they appeared like two normal marines. many places to sit, vending machines, meetings were commonly held here but during lunch hours there were those that used it as a hang out spot. Sakura took the led but only by a couple of steps. Sakura brought a hand and swept his fingertips through his straightened onyx strands. Sakura thought she strikes me as odd Aya. For once I'm awestruck to have met someone with such blatant bloodlust. It's...appealing. His hands were placed behind him before he quickly pivoted around to face Aya. The slender man craned his body forwards, sapphires peering into those crimson hues once again, no longer seeing any notable signs of that beautiful twinkle in her mischievous eyes. He begun to think, something didn't sit right with him. Had she always been this way? He remembered hearing about her amnesia. Sakura wonder if you've ever killed a man before. I'd be lying if I told you that I couldn't feel your body seething its desire to slice me open and consume my blood. But it makes me wonder about something. You've tasted the blood of others. Sakura took a pause, batting his lashes, his face examining her, sizing her up, all the while he sneakily slipped a small throwing knife from the back of his back pocket, clean and sharp to the touch. But how do you react when someone wishes to extract your own in return? Like a matador slinging a bullwhip, Sakura's lanky arm flung outward before whipping back in after tossing the knife. It's steel-tip gleaming faintly from the artificial light above them, propelling in a straight line with impressive accuracy and speed. It was aimed for Aya's throat, but only to slice into its side. Sakura wonder what her reaction would be. Could Aya dodge it or would she bleed? It was only proper to return the favor of her previous infliction to his cheek. His knife had only served enough of a purpose to graze the woman's cheek, not enough to draw any vital fluids from her body, seeing her c**k her head to the side and smiling that wicked smile to him caused him to pause. Was his aim off? It had to have been for him to miss so terribly, or maybe he was just in denial about his inaccuracies. No matter, Aya had taken kindly to his curiosity and would feed his hunger for blood. Oh, but what fun is asking when there's a chance of you telling me no? His tone was slick as a low chuckle spilled through his gullet that following moment. Sakura gave no attempt to retrieve the knife either, its existence was lost to him once it veered off; careening towards another student and grazing just a few hairs from the side of his head before embedding its sterling tip into the front of the vending machine. Luckily, Aya was willing enough to feed his bloodlust and as she drew a knife of her own from her pocket he'd watch her effortlessly slice her wrist open; causing a downpour of the scarlet salve to leak from it. Only Sakura's right cheek rose into into a half smirk as he'd take Aya up on her offer. Light fingertips came to rest beneath hers, raising her arm upward to him as Sakura bowed politely, like a gentleman leaning in to kiss the palm of his fair maiden. Pale lips set upon the delicate parted flesh, kissing her wrist before slowly dragging the moist appendage that was his tongue along the leaking wound. He'd be blessed with the metallic bitterness of her claret. His cheeks stung in ecstasy as he'd lap up the blood like a starved canine. The wound wasn't deep, but the flavors were rich as they danced upon his pallet. He greedily sapped up the delicious claret, a sliver of it ran down the corner of his mouth and descended down to his chin; yet Sakura never swallowed. No, not just yet. Instead, the hand that rested behind Aya's wrist soothingly slid its way along her arm, bypassing the elbow and continuing upward until his connected index and middle digits rested upon her chin to politely tilt her head back. Sakura take a cautious yet bold step forward as he gazed down to her, his smirk apparent as her claret rested upon his lips. Sapphires alluring yet eerily calm despite being fully aware of the knife in her hand; offering her an impure kiss. Would you like a taste as well? Sakura hate to be greedy.

The feel of her lips had been surprisingly delicate, gingerly kissing whilst sharing their mutual fetish with the exchange of Ayas blood. He'd drain half the sanguine toxin into her gullet, carried and delivered by his tongue that lightly caressed the roof of her mouth. Sakura took extra care in not spilling a single drop of her precious claret. Blood was a delicacy that came in abundance of one knew how to correctly obtain it, he'd been half-tempted to remove the fingertips from her chin and set his hand upon her waist, but the skeptical man didn't want to leave himself too vulnerable. Just a moment longer did the pair hold the kiss, drawing a few estranged sets of eyes from their fellow peers yet Sakura's lack of shame couldn't have been any more clear. Effervescence present on his reddened lips curled into a matching smirk. The tips of his digits gave one final caress to her chin before a thumb came to swiped a smudge of blood from her cheek that her tongue had missed. Along with his lips he cleaned the blood from his thumb, savoring its palatable bitterness, its flavors only enhanced by the soft texture of Aya's lips. Not bad at all. His agreeing was met with him drawing away from Aya. Sapphires parting from rubies as he'd excuse himself for just a moment, making his way over to the vending machine to retrieve his pocket knife. Pulling its lever to withdraw the blade he slid it into his back pocket where he'd also retrieve his wallet. After depositing two bills and hitting a few buttons out dropped two beverage cans. Retrieving them and sauntering back over to Aya he'd offer her one with the extension of his arm whilst popping the top on his. Again Sakura's brilliant sapphires fell upon Aya's bloodstone orbs, watching for any changes. After a brief sip of his tang-flavored drink, however, he'd decided to continue his streak of bluntness with her. May I see them? Your eyes I mean. May I see them? A genuine intrigued expression, his smirk no longer graced his lips as an airy aura surrounded Sakura. Somewhat dark and dreary yet dangerously curious and unaware if he'd started to overstep the invisible boundaries separating them. How quick-witted of her to think on her feet like that. Dodging his request to claim that he can see them perfectly fine. She didn't seem much like a secretive person but he'd always known that you couldn't necessarily tell a book by it's cover no matter how pristine and fanciful it'd been. Or maybe she wasn't feigning innocence, maybe she was actually ignorant to his question. When he'd thought about it, Sakura figured that it did seem a bit open-ended. A hand came to run through his hair, diligent fingertips swept back several stray strands as he begun to think of a way to rephrase his question in a way that she'd understand. It never occurred to him that Aya may not have been in full control of her abnormal prowess ;she was only a few days old after all. Suddenly, he'd hear a yell. Jerking his head and peering over his shoulder to a dark haired, tawny toned male exclaiming to some girl he'd been with. Only briefly had he taken his sights from Aya but when his analyzing gaze returned they'd fall upon the white, patterned twinkles adorning her eyes. Sakura grimaced. They were such lovely embellished eyes, like a sly serpent his tongue slid nimbly along his lips a single time before he took two steps forward to get a closer look. He'd never seen such attractive optics before, he'd almost been mesmerized by him until she'd speak again. It was then that he'd notice her lips and then the rest of her bothered expression as though someone had been scrapping nails along a chalkboard. He'd be tempted to clean Aya's wrist for her, but Sakura didn't want to appear too greedy. He'd give a brief glance at the man and the girl who'd just arrived, casually sliding his empty hand into his tool ridden pocket. Front locks swayed as his head swung back to Aya, the occupied hand rose to adjust the descending glasses with by the bridge with his index. He'd take a sip of his drink before giving an agreeing nod. Dead or Alive. They're a nuisance that we can't get rid of, sometimes for reasons unknown, other times we can but the consequences would be too severe. Covering up our tracks. Framing another. Stowing away the body from burying it to scattering the pieces across out seven continents. Quite frankly there's too much work in it. Sakura wasn't certain if Aya had directed her annoyance towards that boy or if she'd simply been speaking in general terms when reminded of another. Sakura had someone else in mind. Someone he wanted to get rid of but it was really too much trouble than he was worth. In some cases getting rid of the person you despise the most was a life long goal, but in other cases. Sometimes, allowing them to continue drawing breath on this plane allows us to keep roaming this world with a purpose. You know the pursuit if happiness. Whether they remind us of past mistakes or future troubles. After you've killed him would you be able to sleep easier at night? If killing this person would bring you true happiness then why wouldn't you be able to? Tch, you certainly appear as if you have the appropriate power to do it. Sakura sneered just slightly at his own thoughts, picturing not one individual, but many. His problem was clear, he simply just lacked the manpower. As much as the sadist hated to acknowledge his own weaknesses, he was a tactile individual who knew that he couldn't do things alone. Taking down a single man was simple. Taking down many required strategy and brains, a field that he excelled in. Sipping his drink Sakura sat himself onto the marble stone lining rounding the fountain and patted a vacant seat beside him for Aya. Maybe they could scope out possible future targets together. Sakura still had plenty of time to kill. Finding himself at the marine headquarters, Sakura began to venture and explore this new scenery. Being new to the marine headquarters let alone being a marine. Sakura would have to know his map and or landscape of numerous places the entire entree if one could say. Despite not going to this marine headquarters officially, there would be no harm in wondering around for a while; not like he was full of virulent ambition or calamity. His nature was meticulous, and curious to all around that surrounded him. Sighing aloud, he pocketed his hands and started to grow bored of the dull scene. Well, that was up until he had reached the specific area known as the main lobby of the marine headquarters. This would be so much amusing with music. Though these administrators are a pain.. Telling me to put up stuff when it is not even that big of a deal.. Man what am I saying, I don't go here screw this! Pfft, like hell I will listen to that bull. Sakura said, and just with that done he would lift up his cordless headphones from around his neck and place them in a position that laid on his shoulders but held itself clung to his ears. Giving a sigh of relief Sakura would press the button on the core side of it, and click another switch that changed it into the track play list settings. His fingers had memorized such organization and such favorite lists of songs, having him scroll down and click it once more. A song cutting on, being a rip from the internet itself. Chance The Rapper, the being a good a** intro into a long list of playlist. Bopping his head he would pull out from his back sack, where his iron baseball bat rested, his Japanese marine style. There we go! The scenery was more lively, seeing as little to no one was around besides he himself and lifestyle. Flipping it up he would jump in the air and land on it perfectly balanced. His left leg kicking off of the ground so that he could get a rolling rush towards the fountain in the middle of the area. It was until administrator would step out and shout. The young man not so much giving a care in the world to listen as his supposed ''superior'' requested he stopped in Japanese. Well for one he barely understood that, and two, he rather live another day without a broken body part than to fall from trying to avoid this man's face. Then again. Sakura thought to himself, as he would have his lifestyle launch upwards and towards his face with his body flying over the man the weapon instead of plummeting straight into his face would hit a spin counter clockwise in his face and spread over to be caught behind his head. Sakura landing with a side flip as he tossed his lifestyle on the side of the fountain, he was heading for and sprinting around in a complete circle as the man stood in shock. The man screamed showing his wet pants off to the world, if only a crowd could see, and fell back butt first into the fountain with Sakura still cycling around him with a calm, yet cold stare for trying to get in his way. A pity for him and Sakura, a audience would have possibly laughed their asses off, it was not like the man fell in from fright, more so to play off the wetness in his pants so that he would not look as much as a fool as he was. With that done, Sakura would look up to the sky and stop sprinting, his body halting in the motion; it was something about it today that read events to happen though it was beyond him. He then looked off towards the entry area where he had entered from wondering if any one would venture through it. Then again would it matter..? Not like he could understand a little of what they spouted in this country. Exhaling with a sigh, the blonde stepped foot onto the main Lobby. His hands buried into his pockets as his stride lead the Chore Boy youth to the fountain. Marine Headquarters was a drag. Everywhere he looked there was another rule. Not able to do much about it ether. Marine Headquarters was tied into the government and the government tied to that woman. Throwing a teacher out of a window wouldn't end so well for him in the long end. His azure hues lazily looking around while he became close to the his destination. No one around besides some kid playing on a longboard and some old man. That's a new one. The thought running through his head while he sat down on the edge of the fountain. Most people didn't do that around here anymore, not since weapons came out.. It was rare just to see one now a days. Pushing such trivial things from his mind Sakura pulled out is knife. With a swipe here and swipe there across the touch screen with his index, his phone unlocked. Hitting the mail box next to him on the bottom row of the area, he'd swipe around to a certain time. Tapping against the screen kanji started to feel the screen before he'd hit send. The knife cut? His woman Lucky. The message? Bring your a** to the Main Lobby, and bring your friend. We have things to talk about.-end message. His eyes trained upon his screen until a little message reading Mail sent Appeared. Sakura was using some technology, too. Putting his knife away he'd stand and stretch his arms towards the sky, while his gaze looked up as well. Realizing he wasn't the only one, his attention focused on the other marine. Had he even use a weapon before? Was he any good? Memory lost was such a pain in the a**. Getting irritated by the fact he couldn't remember, he'd scratch his head before blurting out towards the guy. Hey! Let me see your skills! Just for a sec! Sakura speak with a strong tone as he approached the two before glaring at the old man. Get lost! As the Chore Boy of the marine headquarters even smaller ranks knew their place. The old man would begin to crawl away, before getting up and running away crying. What ever they pay them maries it wasn't enough. Taking his gaze back to the sky and then down, he would hear and notice a new presence among he and the staff member that was sitting in the cool chilling waters of the fountain. The young marine had been observing him it seemed. Sakura could not help but stare at the young mans phone once he had brought it out, having him grow interested in it. Then again, it was simply shrugged off when he put it away and stretched. The young man would start to drop his weapon back down and roll himself to the end of the fountain where the administrator still laid, his left leg applying force and having him flip side ways to land perfectly in a horse like stance on the ground. Sakura seemed to have been a very irritated person, it was something he noticed by just facial expressions alone that he suddenly made. Maybe someone had ticked him off during that exchange of speed he was making, well at least that's what it had looked like to him from his angle. Sakura would then hear his sudden outburst, this outburst, held power, held true stubbornness and the velocity of a real a** being at work. It had become apparent he must have not been a joke like those plaid pants he was sporting, but he surely did hold a high throne around this domain. Was this marine like royalty or something? Having just stated out loud a demand just after asking could he check out his weapon for a moment. After covering his mouth, and pulling his skull cap down slightly to readjust it to hiding majority of his face from the mid section of his eyes up, he would start to smirk. The laughter being caused by how that administrator began to kick to the hills as if he saw the ghost of Christmas future. Tilting his head back he would notice the young man speech, could he have been from around here..? Sure, with giving me a good laugh like that you deserve to get a shot on riding this. Then again, I would have let ya test it out anyways. Haha It was true, he seemed like a king here running the place and calling the shots for whenever he felt like it. With that said, Sakura would leap up and kick down on the rear of his weapon and have it stand up before kicking it strongly to flip and fly towards the young man. Not in a threatening manner but it was obvious he could catch something as small as that power that was delivered. The weapon simply made a soaring noise with the occasion of the tearing through air. Still rolling along the sides of it. Despite Sakura's calm demeanor, he would give the utmost shocked expression as Sakura saw marines from around the blonde male before him. Thank goodness the weapon would be aimed at the opposite side of him and her, but she seemed to be on a mission?! She was not even phased by that, and even brushed against that dudes shoulder as well. His arms flailing as she gave off excitement and rushed to stick her face directly in front of his, having him gain a surprised expression. A small streak of red growing over his nose from the personal space invasion listing, and his feet stepping partially back with a arm lifted to his chest and bent facing the opposite side. What about the higher ranking marines? He knew of him, though was she lost and confused and thought he was a strong marine?? So it was like this on the other side of the world.. First the Americans assumed all Asians looked alike, and now it was all the Asian's thinking all Americans look alike. She spoke so fast, it almost sounded like some old ritual space music to his ears; then again he could barely hear her as is with his headphones playing the music. Was she one of those anime girls he had heard about? Well she was cute, but goodness some space! What about marines? I'm sorry... I can not catch or understand what you are saying to me, do you know English? Yes English, English, whatever you all call it here. His head could only nod as he slowly lifted his hands in a gesture to hold her slightly back by the shoulders. Sakura did not know if he could catch her let alone did not want to feel bad if she fell face first into the ground. He had almost completely forgotten about the young man that asked to see his weapon for a moment, looking over her head he would give a slightly embarrassed smile due to what he had on his hands at the moment. Do you happen to speak English? Cause this sucks, he was fresh to the country and just learning, but never did he expect for there to be different types of talking and fast paced conversations. This girl surely knew how to spout a fast message quick from the looks of it. Sakura could only smirk, and make a bit of space to step back and sit at the fountain where the administrator had just fled out of, and look up towards her and the male. Today was finally starting to get interesting after all.

Where did the travels.. The aimless wandering of Sakura bring him now? This was a time that he wasn't training his a** off around everywhere he went.. After all, taking a walk was still nice. As usual, Sakura appearance was very eye catching to the everyday person that walked around in public, especially in a marine of uniforms that didn't encourage individuality.. The orange and red, short sleeved, monk like robes.. With the final touch of sunglasses. Things that had no right to be together in a wardrobe, but seemed to work for the man. Marines would stair as the slightly older man, at least older than them, made his way through the campus. Catching looks and stairs, he'd only grin in response and lift his hand in a wave. Making remarks like. Hey there. How's it going? Oh. I'm just kind of lost. Kind of wandering. Is there a rule against me being on marine headquarters? Heh, substitute. Right. Maybe I am a guest speaker. He did love being around so many people, even if some of them weren't favorable of him being there. Whether personally or just because of rules or systems, it didn't get him down and certainly wouldn't turn him away to walk off. Where was the fun in that? Walking along the outer pathways of the marine headquarters that connected everything together, Sakura managed to wander in deep enough through the maries headquarters to be in a location that was the center of the four main buildings. What it was called, he honestly didn't know. How would he? But it looked interesting all the same. Something that caught his eye most was something glorious, a food stand that specifically served things such as coffee, hot chocolate, doughnut, and other things of the sort.. All he wanted was the coffee, and maybe a doughnut. Casually, but prepared, he made his way over to the food stand while fishing out both his wallet and his personal coffee mug that he carried at all times.. That wasn't weird, right? A cup of coffee, black. Oh, and a maple bar. He began to the cashier, who seemed confused briefly. Ugh. Sir, I'm sure you're not suppose to be here. You're too old to be a marine, and I know you're not a marine instructor. Why exactly are you hear? Ah. The boy had become suspicious of his presence, perhaps he should have worn something more casual if he was going to be exploring the city.. But, his quick mind already pulled up an answer.. Something that was mentioned a bit before hand. Ah, Sakura is a guest speaker for Marine information. But alas, I dropped my visitors pass somewhere along the lines. I plan to go look for it, but I was hoping to get something to start my morning. Sakura was very convincing, putting on matching facial expressions, before just giving the boy a look who just seemed to fidget nervously for a moment. Oh.. Sakura was sorry sir. Well, I'll take your order. Be sure to find your pass, others might not let you stick around without it. With that, he was off to quickly prepare the coffee for him, filling his personal mug, and handing him a doughnut that was wrapped in a paper towel. Of course, I plan to stop by the office if I can't find it here in a bit. Thank you for your understanding. Sakura said, nodding and holding his hand up and started to walk away. Stopping suddenly, he forgot to pay. Quickly pulling back, he didn't say a thing to the marine, because he saw someone that looked as if they were a marine instructor coming along.. Dropping the money on the counter, he vanished like that, leaving the boy to look around confused. Sir? The day was exciting so far, that much was obvious. Sakura escaped with a quiet laugh being released with his breath. Walking up to the fountain that was in the center of the area, he'd sip his coffee and then take a bite out of the maple bar. They were always delicious, especially together. Ah. Wonder how long I can keep up this game of hide and seek. Grinning to himself, he leaned against the fountain and continued with his breakfast. Or was it lunch? He didn't want to pull out his papers to check. He just wanted to enjoy himself. Marines continued to pass, but questions stopped coming to him. Only occasional glances and stares before it seemed like he was just apart of the crowd. Maybe the word of a guest speaker was actually getting around, so they started to just block him out like they would any other member of the faculty. While socializing was now near impossible, at least with his own distractions. Sakura still got time to each; which was his distraction actually. So. All works out. Taking another bite of the maple bar, he himself glanced around. Occasionally spotting marines. A few that acknowledged his presence, but not in an odd way.. More welcoming, finally. Looking from marines to marines, he almost overlooked the one male that was coming right towards him. Having to pull his gaze back to focus, he only smiled and waved a bit at the young man.. In such a welcoming way, it would seem like they knew each other! But, they didn't. Hm? Marine Sakura questioned, looking up at the weapon with a bit of confusion. Was he not suppose to be eating over here or something? Well, he wasn't even apart of the marines. And he'd move soon enough. Oh, yeah. Just taking a moment to relax and eat. Is this spot off limits? Or. Pausing, he looked down at his doughnut as an idea stuck. Setting his coffee down, he tore the bottom half of the maple bar that was untouched by his teeth and held it up to the marine without much thought and asked. You want half? You can take it. Sakura said, shaking the doughnut briefly in his hand while he bite into the half he was already eating. Now thirst though. Shifting his own part of the doughnut to clap between his pinky and ring finger tips, he'd lift his coffee mug with his index and middle finger to he could take a sip. Glancing up again, whether or not his doughnut was taken. I'll be moving in a moment, so don't worry. Now Sakura was just assuming that he wasn't suppose to be at the fountain. Or maybe his cover was blown already. Ah well, not like it really bothered him. Sakura gave the marine a few glances throughout the period that he was enjoying the maple bar that he received. The marine was glad that he was enjoying the small treat, it made sharing worth while after all when it made someone happy. Another gulp of coffee, his cup was starting to run on empty too. Ugh. Why couldn't he somehow find himself a self refilling coffee mug. Even though it was so farfetched, and just for a beverage he'd certainly fund such an invention. What could be more amazing? The marines words were a bit muffled, since he decided to talk with his mouth full of the maple bar. He could at least understand what he was saying, and it was relieving.. At least until he said 'You go to this place'. So he had no clue that the man was actually an adult, and just.. Wandering around the marine headquarters aimlessly? Perhaps there was hop of him not being evicted upon sight from the faculty. Ah. So how'd you find your way inside? Having any trouble with the faculty trying to getcha outta here? Sakura asked out of both curiosity and for his own sake, since he wasn't suppose to be here either. The name is Sir' Lancelot Sakura, how about'chu? The introduction was brief, but they were already having a conversation so why drag out something so small? finally, he tossed the last bite of the maple bar in to his mouth. Taking a moment to chew and savor the tasty treat before washing it down with the last gulp of coffee. Oh, this was so sad. Mm. I see, but you speak it just fine. Got a different native language? English? Perhaps German? Or even Korean? As he asked about the different languages, assuming that the young man wasn't exactly native here, with each language he said he actually spoke that very language. So in a single sentence, he managed to speak four language. Someone try to top that. Trotting out happily into the main lobby of the marine headquarters, Sakura looked around for any evidence of something fun to do. All he saw were marines here and there, marble seats, a fountain, and some food carts. None of which really caught his attention. Sakura decided, then, that he was going to make her own story. Yep yep! Well at least, he was going to tell one in his way, and it was going to be awesome. Pulling out his pipe, Sakura took a seat on the edge of the fountain, trailing his fingers through the water's surface before closing his eyes in concentration. What story to tell, with this water here as an additional medium? Ooh~ The one about Coyote, Iktome, and the Rock Iya. That would be a good one! Maybe not so great with the water from the fountain, not totally, but it would be good. Nodding to himself, Sakura lit his pipe, smoking quietly until a soft cloud wafted around him. With deft movements of him fingers and of the pipe, Sakura began forming the story with the smoke, setting up a background, a landscape that seemed almost too perfect. But then, a true blue Shandian was telling the story. A few marines came by, wild eyed and mind boggled, and sat to listen to his story. The spectators pleased her, and in a strong voice he began telling the story of the trouble makers and the rock. Once, a long time ago, Coyote and Iktome were taking a walk. They came across Iya, the rock. It was not just any old rock - it was special. It was covered in those spidery lines of green moss, the kind of lines that tell a story. Iya the rock was very powerful. Sakura showed two figured walking along a path and finding a big rock, standing before it and motioning at it. With a twist of his fingers, Sakura continued the story. Coyote said to Iktome, Why, this is a nice looking rock! I think that it has power'. Then Coyote took off the thick blanket he was wearing and put it on the rock. He said, Here Iya, take this present. Take this blanket, dear friend, to keep you from freezing. You must feel cold. Iktome was surprised, commenting on Coyote's good mood and generosity. Coyote merely puffed out his chest and said, It is nothing! I always give things away, and Iya looks very nice in my blanket. Iktome smiled and said, 'It is Iya's blanket now, friend,' and both Coyote and Iktome continued on the path. Sakura smoke wafted while he spoke, emphasizing when Coyote threw the blanket over Iya, and how beautiful it looks covered in such a thick blanket. The marines around the fountain had been captured in the smokey magic, and even more of them were beginning to approach from other parts of marines headquarters. Sakura smiled - the more, the better. It was always better to tell stories for a large group of people, though a giant bonfire would have made the story life like, the figures in it the size of real men. With his pipe, he could only manage characters the size of small dolls, like Barbies or something. Still, the story continued. Pretty soon, a cold rain started, and that rain turned to hail, and that hail turned to slush. Coyote and Iktome found a cave to take refuge in, but it was cold and wet. Iktome was all right, he had a thick buffalo hide robe. But Coyote, who had give his blanket to Iya, had only his shirt, and he was shivering. He was freezing cold and his teeth were chattering. He said to Iktome, Friend, go back and get me my find blanket. I need it, and that rock has no use for it. He has been getting along without a blanket for ages! Hurry, I'm freezing! And so Iktome went to Iya asking for the blanket - but Iya said no. Iya said, What is given is given.' And so Iktome returned to Coyote, and told him that Iya would not return the blanket. Naturally, Coyote grew angry, but Iktome said, 'Iya the rock has a lot of power - maybe you should let him keep the blanket. And Coyote said no - and Coyote went to go and speak to Iya. It was almost like magic, the way that Sakura made the smoke dance and sway, made them become people that argued over the fact that a blanket had a rock that it probably really didn't need in the first place. When Sakura spoke of the rain and hail and slush, he flicked his fingers across the fountain's water, using the smoke to catch it, making it ashy and thick as it fell on the water's surface. The crowds had gathered around him now, but Sakura had lost herself to the art that he had carefully cultivated and perfected. Adding a slightly different set of herbs to his pipe, Sakura added soft colors to the story, greens and reds mostly, though a touch of faint purple could be seen here and there. Coyote went back to Iya and demanded his blanket back, but Iya simply said, What is given is given. Coyote grew angrier still, exclaiming, You're a bad rock! Don't you care that I'm freezing? Don't you care that I will catch a cold? Coyote snatched the blanket back from Iya and said, There! That's the end of it!' But Iya said, By no means the end. Coyote returned to the cave with his blanket, and the rain and hail stopped. The sun came out again, and so Coyote and Iktome sat in front of their little cave, sunning themselves and having a meal of pemmican and wojapi. After they ate, they took out their pipes and had a smoke. The scenery faded, only to be replaced with a close up of Coyote and Iktome smoking after their meal. Iktome's form seemed to crouch and listen hard, and then turn back to Coyote with words falling from his lips. Iktome said suddenly, What's that noise? Coyote said, What noise? I don't hear anything.' Iktome said, 'It is a crashing, a rumbling sound. It is getting stronger and nearer, like thunder. Coyote said, Yes, I hear it now, it is rather strong and loud. I wonder what it could be. Iktome said, I have a pretty good idea of what it is.' And then they saw Iya, rolling and thundering towards them. Iktome cried out, 'Let's run! Iya means to kill us!' And so they ran as fast as they could while Iya chased them, coming closer and closer. Iktome said, Let's jump in the river, the rock is heavy so he surely he can't swim!' And so they swam across the river, but Iya followed them, as though he had been made of wood.

Marines were leaning forward now, totally ensnared and captivated. Sakura was losing himself to the this, rocking slowly back and forth, back and forth, exhaling and adding fresh smoke to the scene, enhancing it. There would be no loss of attention now. Coyote cried, Quick! into the forest among the trees! Surely Iya can't get through this thick forest! Oh, but how wrong he was, Iya came rolling after them, shivering and splintering the big trees to pieces left and write. The two came out into a flat area, and Iktome said, Oh, this is not my quarrel! I just remembered I have a lot of things to do, good luck! Bye! Iktome rolled himself into a tiny ball and became a spider, disappearing into a nearby mouse hole. Coyote ran on and on, Iya right behind him. Then, Iya rolled right over Coyote, flattening him out altogether. Iya took the blanket and rolled back to his place on the road, and he said, 'So there! Soon, a wasichu rancher, a white man, came riding along and saw Coyote there all flattened out. 'What a nice rug!' he said, picking Coyote up and taking him home. Sakura dragged his fingers through the water, clearing the scene mostly and transporting the now flattened Coyote to the rancher's home. Sakura licked his lips, taking a small pause before starting again. The rancher put Coyote right in front of the fireplace. Whenever Coyote is killed, though, he can make himself come to life again, but this time it took him the whole night just to puff himself up to his usual shape. In the morning, the rancher's wife said to the rancher, I just saw your rug running away. And so the lesson is learned, if you have something to give, give it forever. Always be generous in heart. Sakura's marine came and took bows before he hit the surface of the fountain hard, dispelling the smoke he had kept under his control. Most of the marines blinked and seemed to 'wake up', though the smiles all around let him know it had been enjoyed. Who knew that so many would know and understand all of it, especially since he'd told it in English? That was a great thought, and it made him feel a little better about being here. A lot of people at least understood English!

Turning so that his legs hung off the side of the fountain, Sakura swung his legs and puffed at his pipe for a few more moments, a small coyote and a spider dancing in the air before her before disappearing. That had been fun~ ! Now what .. ?

Right on cue. As if it was all written out so perfectly. Will things get solved now? Possibly. Putting his hands in his pocket, he could see other marine staying far away. You know, he is not contagious. You could always come closer. Sakura stated .Who would start it off. Waiting, he wouldn't even flinch hearing the words coming from other marines mouth. It was my first travel towards home. Actually it was my family. Till people started to forget who they were. Think its easy with this situation? Jail didn't hurt. Unless being shot out for running my mouth counts, but I not the one to play the I am a thug. Hear me roar ***** card. It's not my style. I remember what the start was for. But the goals had changed. Instead of being persistent, you became mind ******** and gave up. Look what we both have. The one unifying unit is not here anymore. The one who fought the path of blood and shredding was the only tie that bonded us. Jail didn't do this to me. The change happened to you. What would Aya say if she saw this at the moment? It's like you have lost all of your ambition. What is it you fight for this marine? Aya was your sister. Yet, there are no strength on your back marine. Couldn't you grow your own. Keep hope maybe, she'll come back? Sakura stated as he started his walk towards the marine. It was a tense situation. Nothing could be the right words to say technically cause the situation was ******** up. Probably more on the marine then he realized. He then heard the bark. What was he trying to say? It was his fault marine unit died? It wasn't his marine unit. Or was it? Either if Sakura put up no fight. At least Aya was there. Where was the other marine? Exactly. It wasn't hatred he felt for the marine. Actually. he couldn't hate him that much if he tried. I left you? It was your Marine unit. What if Aya came back to see how you left it? Now another marine unit going to have their way? At the end of the day, I fight for and with my friends and family. Family never betray each other. They don't leave each other hanging. I left you, because there was no family left in the marine unit. Even the little bit I saw in you, it vanished due to your words. Without Aya, your ambitions are nothing. What your true goal was, now its not the same. You started wanting what? A Utopia? Think in your heart and tell me do you really believe your goal for the justice of world is the same now as it was when we first started? Sakura explained as he sighed. So, that how it was. He was throwing shots ehhh? Guess he still didn't know or even bother. Either way, he would soon explain the difference between the two of them. They both were without a marine unit. They both did not have Aya. But what did Sakura have that other marine didn't? Sakura wasn't the one to brag. Just get even. Back then honestly I did not know what I want. So I decided to ride with yall. i don't regret anything. I didn't do it for Aya. If anything I could of hanged with her and not be a member of the marine unit. I could of been neutral. But, you wanted to change the world and you felt confident in that. After every fight, you showed motivation. After getting your a** whooped. You got up. Yet, as I said earlier. You're not the same. You're view not the same. And I doubt you could care less about anything really at this moment. That marine is gone dude. You could cover it up with battles but still. I don't see the same guy who was dating Aya, wanted to be best marine unit, and wanted a better marine headquarters. I could be wrong and just not be able to see it. Sakura stated showing he wasn't sure, but what am I doing now? Killing no. Marine Headquarters was a miss judgement. What I doing now. Nothing important. I just a weak marine right?. Sakura then stopped to let it sink in before walking closer. He could of yelled about his remarks but didn't. Do people shoot me dirty looks? Doesn't that happen everyday? Kill or no Kill? If it was a set up. Then who all was it to be set up? Why don't we stop the stupid s**t and figure out something. What do you truly want in this world? Sakura asked as he waited. So what was it that Sakura had that marine didn't have? No heartache. If that even made sense. Poor kids in their marines combat training. No learning was going to get done today. It's amazing how the outside world have so much impact on mere children. But, that was how it had to be. It would be. If you saying I changed I did. Simple enough, I changed my thought process, values and became stronger. Never did I change mentally who I am and you should know that. Marine, you knew what marines meant. You knew. Aya had the same side in her in a way. Only difference, I Don't have a switch personality and don't shoot bullets at people. As for her, she wouldn't have given in. I will give it to you I did change. It didn't happen at the party. It happened with the marine unit a** whooping. They could save or Destroy some blues in blink of eye. They have one of the pirate captains. As far as I know. I saw the light. You can't save the world with peaceful methods. You will only become a grave. You know, No matter what happens. This will never be solved. Sakura stated simply. He wasn't affected. He learned to keep his emotions inside if they impacted him negatively. As Sakura got closer, he could hear marines warning, but Sakura continued. Like a truth you couldn't erase. Oh I can talk about Aya if need be. She's gone, nothing we can do about that. She may reappear, but here's the thing. You never once did think about the full picture. You saw your life with her, but could you really see it? At the end of the day, we wanted to save the sea's. In order to do that we needed to be strong. Yet, we had our thrown stolen. For what? By who? Snoop dog and his mistress? Come on. Another marine get a grip and face the fact, unless she appears out of nowhere. It's over...she's never coming back. In order grow stronger, we must realize the ******** up reality of truth. Sakura stated as he stopped. Was marine going ape s**t? Why would I meet you and have drinks. You know we don't talk through actually talking marine. We never really had. Of course I left. and by leaving, I achieved something. I can't help that marine unit fell apart. But, if you wanted to carry on. You should of kept the team alive. Maybe Aya would of came back, because you didn't give up. You was never forced to. No one betted the cash and forced disbandment. Sakura informed a marine. He would then see the blood, the hands. Yeah, the marine was going ape s**t crazy. So sad though. Get thee to a nunnery cause you're not even in your right mind. You place all your ******** in us, but left none for yourself. And for that, you failed as a leader. And now, the world is going to burn. Sakura stated, rubbing his hands together like birdman to represent the evil forces plotting at the crystal ball. Yeah, that s**t made no sense. It was truth time now, Sakura asked the question and he was about to get his answer. Aya. That's all he wanted. Was that girl back. That one simple woman. May not have the Goddess appeal or look like a Barbie, but he did know one thing. The other marine actually loved her. Something clicked in his head, but he just looked away. Was too late for clicking now. So true, his strength were broken. So what was he going to do? Obvious thing he could do. But that would be a later time. Then it was Sakura's turn. What did Sakura want? Two things. Happiness, and Aya. I promised to be strong marine. And when it happens, she's not here. Maybe she's watching over us. Maybe. Sakura stated as he reached in his pocket. He almost forgot about the marine badge. Was one Aya used. Back in the day. He threw the marine badge at a marines feet. He of all people should recognize its form. You just wanna ride now. Aya was your strength and you say never have strength like that again. How are you so sure? Aya was your strength. Maybe she still can be. Sakura stated. Click was still too late, but advice still could be given. You could always, take that marine badge. carry it with pride, and make a marine unit in memory of Aya . Hoping if she comes back .If not, at least, she'll be your strength and reasoning still to be the best, but that's your decision. If you wanna stay ******** up and defeated. Be my guest. Sakura stated as he turned around.

Finally the third burger was ready to be eaten but sadly Earth Beast was full. So all there was to do now was lean back against the fence and relax with his new marine buddies. He wasn't that bad for a blues boy. Most of the time those who come from the blues. Think there the s**t which is how they get there asses kicked in the wrong part of the headquarters. But there would be no reason to bring that up. Not many people head to that part of headquarters anymore. Hmm well maybe I will show you around. Show you all the cool spots in the marines. Trust me. There is some places you want to go, and some places you don't even want to get near. Earth Beast utter in a soft but serious tone. Listening on to other marines ask what was the main hobby around here in the headquarters. All Earth Beast could do was smirk a little. Mmm. Earth Beast hummed but before he could answer it would appear another marine was among them in the Main Lobby. Earth Beast brown and gold hues looked up just to see him lay right back down. Put on his sleeping mask and keep talking. Well isn't this guy something. Earth Beast thought to himself. But he was right. Like sleepy head here said, Justice is one of the biggest common interest in the marines. You have heard of being a marine, right? Earth Beast would talk now directing his attention away from sleepy head. Turning his head ever so slightly shifting his eyes so he could see Earth Beast, waiting for the answer. The smells of burgers slowly confiscate Earth Beasts hunger. Thought he had eaten this morning, but that much of a portion is not enough to satisfy him. His stomach soon grumble like a earthquake which preventing him to sleep and so he wake up and look around, following the smell of the burgers. Took one and proceed to eating it without permission. And eventually Earth Beast ate everything that was left and took a pack of gum out. Start chewing on it while offering some to the gentleman. Earth Beast know well that he might be fighting the brunet dude for eating his burgers. But for now, let's just get along with each other and show the blonde guy the true identities of the marines. Earth Beast lifted his head up and notice someone else joined them in the Main Lobby. Maybe this was a hangout spot for certain people during work hours. Uh huh, Earth Beast replied back the marine new comer and shifted to nod at another marine. Who also seemed informed. I've heard a couple things at my new job about it. You fight other pirates, right? With strong offense skills right? Your attacks are the best in our rank In his mind this was a tad bit of a bummer. Meeting people who seemed involved with fighting, but they couldn't know that secret. Earth Beast would do anything to keep marines away from getting caught up in wrong. For now the best thing to do was act unaware. So what do these marines do, I guess I should be asking what's the whole agenda. Fame and sponsorship like a extreme sport is what I had assumed. Earth Beast's composure was not shuck but curious. These two could most likely tell him things he hadn't known.

Earth Beast left after their conversation.

A green skinned lady in rather revealing attire sat in the lobby. Looking back and forth noticing others who seemed to have been listening to their den den mushis. She was listening to hers as well to some extent. She heard the orders that were given. Essentially the marines were going to all be assigned to different locations and determined to be focused on that area with a higher-up being the lead of the area. The green skinned female didn't mind this so much or at all. At least if she had some order she'd know what to do instead of sitting around. That being said....she didn't have anything to do except sit around until one of the marines designated to be the leaders approached her to put her on their squad. Which wasn't even a true guarantee. Turning off the den den mushi, or at least putting it away she would sit in the lobby and continue to wait. Stretching and sighing. "This is boring." She said.

There was a slightly soggy marine now sitting in the main lobby, wringing out a piece of cloth. The journey had been long, but the salty water had not dried in the intervening time. He smelled of brine as he twisted out another water-fall of clear liquid. He could not smell, nor taste, the water that had filled his throat and lungs. The man's chest did not rise and fall with the steady rhythm of breath. He wasn't living, well not in the traditional sense. Being helpless, conscious, and angry at the bottom of the ocean did little to temper ones mood; Vot'gul was in a very sour mood. But hopefully, though his efforts were largely in vain, his assistance would lead to a proper promotion. Only time would tell.

After they had returned to base, Luka would have a stack of reports to file after the incident that had occurred on Cactus Island. She wasn't very pleased with the results, but she didn't have much choice in the matter. The Marines couldn't handle this many active pirates. They were just going all over the place, totally unchecked and it was becoming very problematic. She really shouldn't be working today of all days but much like every other year, she worked as much as always.

Heading back to the lobby, she looked over to the man in armor, walking over to him as she took a seat opposite him. "I believe I should start with a 'Thank You' for what you did back there. It certainly wasn't expected, but it helped me take a moment to assess the situation better." She then looked down slightly. "Though I also owe you an apology. Despite your assistance I am far too weak to have defeated them myself and we were forced to retreat." She sighed a bit, looking up at the man. "Regardless, you acted fast and without fear which, while normally is good, is ill advised in cases like that..." She began, recounting her own sense of self preservation. "Granted I acted foolish by going alone as well so I'll forgive you this time." She stood upright then before him and held out a hand slowly, feeling weird even to herself as she was so used to saluting people instead. But she wanted to try a different approach now. Something...friendlier. Less...official and more friendly. "Regardless, it's a pleasure to meet you. Luka Scarlet." She said softly, not even naming her own rank for once as she smiled slightly. She wasn't very good at this, but everyone had to start somewhere.

Vot'gul's immediate reaction was to stand at attention and offer a salute to Luka. But he would go at ease as she sidled over and sat next to him. "Ma'am, I could not sit idly in the case of such odds." He responded to her word of thanks. He was inspecting his equipment now, making sure that the metal would not rust. The apparent concern did not extend to his armor, which appeared well above average make though clearly battered from years of use. "Next time ma'am. As far as self-preservation ma'am..with respect, I am not concerned with that in my present state." A gruff voice would echo from within the iron mask that encased the unknown face beneath as the man turned, leather creaking and chains jingling, to sheath the sword he had just finishing oiling. The blade, clean and polished, was placed next to him leaning against the wall. That was about when Luka would stand in front of him and slowly extend a wavering hand. The man didn't seem to understand at first. Then slowly he stood to his full height, only about a head taller than the red-head, and extended a gloved hand to grasp her own between strong, leathery fingers. "...Yes, pleasure to meet you ma-..uh Ms. Scarlet. You can call me Vot. Vot'gul."

She understood the desire to act when another was in danger. She'd acted on such impulses time and again so she couldn't blame him for such. Though she disagreed with his thoughts on self preservation. "No, you should be more concerned about it. Take care of yourself so that you can take care of others. If you fall in battle, then that's one less Marine protecting those that need it. Put a little more value in your own well being...please." She asked him, softly as she recounted her own lesson on the matter. Having nearly bled out due to her stubbornness to finish her job once before.

As he stood up and called her 'Ms', she winced slightly. Not really liking how that sounded as she shook his head. "No please, just call me...Luka." She said, still excluding her rank, which wasn't all that normal for her at all. "Still, you did well with what you could manage given the situation...not that it was a good situation either way..." She sighed, preferring not to dwell on that as she looked him up and down briefly. "That aside, are you already serving under the command of anyone else yet? If not, I'd be more than happy to have you aboard my ship, if you so wish it. If not, then you are free to decline." She was still very much against ordering people under her command. If they joined, it would be their choice, not hers.

"...Luka, I can't die." He stated bluntly. This whole circling around the issue was needless. Yes, it would be tragic if a marine were to lose their life. They would unable to protect the innocent or uphold justice. But, Vot was not constrained by such mortal flaws. "I can be cut, stabbed, shot. I will still get back up to protect the innocent." That gravely, resounding voice was dead-serious as he spoke. "But I do appreciate the concern ma'am." It seemed old habits died hard. He would probably still slip that in, no matter how much the red-head protested. Even as she said to just call her Luka, Vot'gul nearly bristled. Just throw out protocol? Absurd! But she was a commanding officer, to ignore her whims would be even worse. A quandary he would need to ponder when he had the time. "I will attempt to stamp out injustice, no matter the odds." He replied to her assessment of the situation they had found themselves in. As her eyes roamed over his form, clad in blackened iron, Vot would be making his own assessment. Though his face was obscured by the heavy helmet that sat betwixt his shoulders, the man's one glowing eye would move down to her boots and back up to the crest of her head. "No ma'am. I would be glad to enter your service."
