❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ [ Yami ] ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖ ❖Master || Rokushiki | Primary Weapon - Hand to Hand || Marine || Devil Fruit [---] || 20,000 ╔════════════════════════════════════════════╗
[ After some time, Yami had found the one he was instructed to follow. Lyrica, and the boss of the squadron, Gully himself. Though the boy had no idea who they were, why they were important for him to find, or why they are going around doing these reimbursements, he’d stay with them nonetheless. Once more, he finds unrivaled interest in the beautiful way the islands align. Their aesthetics, their populace, the type of foods that grow upon them. All of it over taps his curiosity meter. While following whimsically behind the other two, his eyes wander about. Though this island has such a colorful and rich design, the buildings and people all seem ‘broken’. Were they subjected to the same cruelties as the last? Despite this, Yami’s smile persists. Only briefly, however, is his attention stolen by the strange voice of the large man called Gully. Golden iris look up to the towering figure, locking onto the details of the strange contraption about his head. Even his voice comes out strangely. How amusing!
Regardless, Yami fails to properly answer the man. “The humans call me Yami.” he says, following up with nothing more than him continuing to stare up at the man relentlessly, that is, until it’s time to get to work. Though lost at first, he starts to copy Gully, lifting up the smaller freight, and following Lyrica about to deliver them. Truthfully, unaware to him, his smile and readiness to work provides those around him with a simple bit of relief. Yet to Yami, all of this is merely a learning experience. As it were, this act of ‘reimbursement’ seems to bring joy to the humans. He’d keep this in mind. “It seems humans are fond of these material things. Should we give them more?” he asks followed up with a head tilt. Though the people around try and commend the trio for what they have already done, but if they were to simply stop here, the experience would end.
That thought bothers him, so instead of standing around, he’d go to pick up more materials, and walk them to various buildings in the area, even to those already provided their proper reimbursement. “I don’t understand. The human’s expressions have...changed. They smile, but, it seems wrong. Hm… How strange.” he ponders, wondering why him giving the humans more, would be a bad thing. Why would they feel bad about receiving? They lost, and he gives. Is this not what they desire? ]

She stepped out onto the dock, hands intertwined behind her. She didn't want to make too big of a fuss here. They didn't get all super duper destroyed like Toroa did. Anyway? Where was she Oh! Vegetables!! She loved vegetables! She scooped up a box and followed behind Gully off of the ship. She had barely noticed, maybe she thought she was getting stronger. But with each step she took the box of vegetables got even lighter. She paused, introductions. Yeah, they should probably go through the motions of that, right. "Lyrical Lee, Sir!" She saluted with her right hand holding the box of vegetables. She swung it high and it softly brushed against her forehead. Too late she noticed her folly and scrambled for the vegetables ... but none had fallen. In fact, the box was completely empty. She gasped, running her left hand along the bottom half of the empty box. She had eaten them all, when did she even pick one up. She couldn't remember. Her tongue ran along her teeth, feeling a large patch of kale stuck in between her bicuspids. "Oh no ..." She flailed and made a mad dash back toward the ship. Oh my god, she can't believe she ate all of the vegetables meant for the people. She scooped up another, luckily they had far more than was needed. She pondered this, why was there so much food? Forget that, grab a box, and she dashed out. Before she hit the deck board the box was empty. She was holding a tomatoe to her mouth happily chewing away. "What?!" When did she eat these? Waving the box about as if something would fall out, she couldn't believe it. What the hell had she done?!
"No!" She looked up from the box to the sight of Yami and Gully walking into the Village. What on Earth was going on, what were these gaps in time she was missing?! Dammit! She went back, and she noticed ten other empty boxes. This .... this was impossible. Had she eaten all of this fruit? She looked to and fro and decided it was best she avoided the fruits. She grabbed a box of dried meat and dashed back off the ship. No, two! She went back and grabbed two, running back from the ship in an attempt to catch up with the two who had gone ahead. She handed meat out as she went. Swirling and whirling so they could grasp their fill unhalted. That and she still had to catch up. She chuckled behind Yami. "I think we're supposed to give them all of it. People like to eat, don't y'eat?" She asked Yami while giving out the last of the meat. "You're so weird, Yami, just c'mon." She grabbed his arm with a chuckle, loitering as she left the box in the street. Luckily some kids came by to scoop them up. She would lead back to the boats if they were going to keep up with Gully. Where was he going anyway?

It was nice knowing that being drenched in blood, as the sounds of a million guns rang through the air, would be washed off by the rain. First time something went right and it wasn't something he had plan for. The hand of the monster would darken, a quick swipe across the air as the bullets were swatted away mere snowflakes compared to Guzma. A sullen grunt followed with a plunge to the ground, keeping himself on one knee. The other leg receiving a crippling blow to the calf. Turns out that the pirate captain had received more than he had bargained for. No matter, he had no plans of dying tonight or any time soon. Fifteen marines surrounded him, that was less than before someone else was attracting their attention. Another round of bullets were send his way, his hand darkened once again blocking the bullets from hitting any vital organs. "COWARDS!" The roar echoed through the rain, they outnumbered Guzma twenty to one but even with the numbers the creeping feeling of terror was crawling up their spines. None of the marines had chosen to initiate hand to hand combat even after they wounded his leg. "Just keep firing men" One of their commanders would shout out. That was it, Guzma hadn't even arrived to the island to do anything but take over it peacefully with force. Now he had to deal with a large amount of marines trying to gun him down and his measly attempts of trying to defend himself while not killing anyone. But as blood started to drain out of his body, his swinging and blocking kept slowing down. Every swing putting more strain in his body until a well placed shot against his shoulder put him down. With Guzma down the marines stayed in place for a few minutes unsure if the pirate was out of commission for good. One by one they closed in on him laying in a pool of his own blood. The bayonet glistened in the rain, as it was brought down it would be stopped short from Guzma's chest. A hand bloodied would bend the entire barrel of the gun. There was no cursing, no yelling, all that was left was unleashed rage. Pulling the man and punched him hard in the jaw breaking the scream the man was making along with his jaw.
The marines were quick to notice that the pirate had not yet been put down, as they aimed their rifles the anchor would be come flying directly into them, not just their arms this time. Rising from the ground, Guzma would look around flinging the anchor at any marine that would appear. Hearing a cough at the ground, Guzma pressed his foot against one of the down marines. "Any last words" Guzma would ask bring the anchor above the man's head. Threatening to swing it down to his skull. Yet when the anchor was inches away from his face a soft ringing would come from the marines jacket. Dropping the anchor besides the man's head Guzma quickly searched the man's clothes and pull out the snail. Answering the call there was even more yelling. Two pirates had come and destroyed the marine research facility that was in the island. That would explain the many marines that were in the island, still as annoying as marines were he hated pirates more than anything. "Go call a doctor a something you idiot" Guzma would say taking his march away from the downed marines. While this island wasn't technically under his control, it was part of the Blue where his home island was. Logically any event that happened in his Blue would affect his island, through trade and stuff like that that Guzma had no understanding off but knew was very important. With every step he took more and more blood spilled from his wound, grabbing one of the lanterns he broke the top half allowing the flame to open. Putting it near his wound the sizzling of skin and smoke would rise through the air as his wound was burnt closed. He would worry about infections and disease later when he ensured that the pirates were gone from his town.
The research facility was completely destroyed in fact there seemed to be no one alive. At least not any of the marines who were defending the place. As he walked through the facility he would pick up each dead marine and put him over his shoulder. As every corpse was dragged outside the crumbling building which soon collapsed after he came out of the room. Outside a group of capable marines who hadn't been out of commission from the previous attack Guzma had thrown at him were attempting to once again circle around him. Dropping the corpses to the side some of the marines took aim and started to fire at him. Guzma ignored them, they didn't exactly have the greatest aim anyways. Bring up his anchor he slammed it down to ground a pile of dirt launching towards the marines. Doing this action repeatedly which prevented any of the marksmen to be able to have a clear shot towards him. Only making their already bad aim worse. Still it was a very strange way to blind people with dirt especially seeing how he had originally been attacking them with all his strength. When the dirt stopped and was wiped from their face they were surprised to see what the pirate did. It was a grave, where all the bodies had been dumped inside. Guzma filled the ave back up and slammed his anchor down to the ground before sitting down. As one marine attempted to fire at his head another quickly pushed him off his aim.
Guzma may be recklass, vengeful, even short tempered at times but even he knew the importance of life and taking one was forbidden. No matter the reason no matter the cause, even in self defense sometimes it's just bettter to take what you are dealt with than take a life. A lot of this had come from his old friend Big Band. Whatever happened to that big dummy that made him turn himself in. He held the title as a pirate because many actions he had done were seen as revolutionary or criminal. Yet Guzma knew that the big man couldn't hurt anyone. Not even a fly. So why in the hell was he in prison and not the monsters who took the lives of these people. Punching the earth Guzma felt a sting in his hand, moving his hand close to his face there was splinters and calluses. It also seemed to be very blurry, wait that wasn't his hand that his eyes. Closing his eyes Guzma would drift into a deep sleep once again. When he woke there was a small surprise for him, and that was he wasn't in prison.
There were a few more things that had happened besides him not going to jail and the main thing that should have been taken account of was a group of marines ad arrived and reimbursed the place. Helping people receive some of their goods that had been stolen. Except nothing been stolen in fact he only thing that had happen was the raiding of that one marine facility. And while he wasn't one who knew how economics worked giving money to the citizens after having lost a lot of money from one of their own paid research facilities seemed like just a drain in resources. Then again he had also caused some destruction of his own so that also needed some repairs. Leaving the room he had been placed in he realized he had been bandaged once again. Seemed like it happened a lot when he went around islands trying to take them over under his rule. As he walked outside the murmurs of people made it clear that they though of him as some sort of legend. Especially when some people walked up to him and asked for autographs. "Get away from me" Guzma would say hating the attention. He decided to leave immediately which was exactly what he did. Getting one of the Lone man boats that was dock he set sail to the kingdom of West Blue. ((2000/2000 Take Over of Clock Work))

Holding a copy of the latest issue of Coo-Coo news, the cigarette smoking red haired scoundrel, sat back, his feet kicked up on the table of some hole in the wall bar somewhere in Clockwork island. And just like the islands name everything was working like clockwork. Slapping the newspaper the British chap would break out into a fit of laughter, which wasn't out of the usual in a bar. Normally people would have though he was crazy. Smirking Thaddues would get a good kick about the recent execution of that b*****d Merlin, who'd defeated him and killed Nima in the last season. While Thaddeus vowed to get revenge it seemed that the government beat him to the punch. "I'll drink to that!" The one eye'd man would shout. hammering his glass onto the counter top. Deciding he'd had enough of the lounging around he'd ponder on going back out to sea, back out adventuring and making a name for himself. He wondered were Yusuke had gotten off too. He couldn't conquer the seas without his right hand man, it wouldn't feel right. Sitting up from where he was seated Thaddeus would exit through the saloon door which were a common trend for bars and taverns in West Blue, don't ask me why. A bit drunk Thaddeus would step out onto the streets of Clockwork Island. The active city life buzzing and honking in his ears, it was rather annoying, dressed in a black duster coat, Signature black feather cowboy hat, a stained white shirt with suspenders, and black leather cowboy boots. He felt like his usual dapper self. Spitting on the sidewalk the tall beak nosed son of a b!tch grew to hate this island. The people here were clueless and ripe for suckering. He just needed a scheme. He could have already figured something out during the 6 months that he's spend "vacationing" on the island, if you even wanted to call it that. Thaddeus had been quiet now for almost a year, after getting out of Impel Down he decided that there had to be a better way, he wasn't going to be run down like a dog and caged by no goodie too shoes marine. He'd had enough of that, Thaddeus had come to grow not only as a person, but as a criminal, he'd had a year to carefully plan his next course of action. He would have to wait to reveal himself again to the world. For now he knew he had to grow his power, wealth, and influence.
Strolling around the street, his 2 guns holstered on his side, the red haired desperado decided he was going to hit that local gambling spot, something about today made him feel real lucky... Maybe it was the newspaper? Walking through alley ways, Thaddues wasn't the least bit concerned for his safety, he could go anywhere he wanted on the Island, the people here were low life pirates trying to make a name for themselves in the game. Stuck in the Blue Sea rat race or so he liked to call it. Step by step the ex- 70 million dollar man pondered on getting his crew back together. He had the will to hit the seas harder then he ever had before, he wanted to create a big splash when he revealed himself to the world once more. Finally reaching a sketchy looking building, Dasterdly gun for hire, would casually knock on the steel door. "What's the color of night?" a myserious voice would ask. "Sanguine, my brother." Thaddeus would answer, granted access into the secret room. The metal door would open itself for him. The harsh dark environment of the gambling spot sure did make for a aesthetic vibe. Thaddeus would go about enjoying the night life of clock work island for a bit, before occupying the poker table. Smirking Thaddeus was a whiz at black jack, when he was younger he used to count cards for a gangster named Mickey Mooney back in the day, and if you though he was good a blackjack, Just wait until he got on the poker table, kid was a regular Rockefeller. He had a psychotic grin which meant he wasn't afraid to up the ante, and he had a poker face to rival Death himself. Quickly racking up money, Thaddeus had sweeped the entirety of the room fixing to walk out with a cool 1 million beli come up, however it wasn't profit he was after. Every good banker could tell you this... especially a jewish one. More important then profit, was debt. Thaddeus wanted the criminals whom occupied clockwork island to be indebted to him. That way they would serve him, without taking some sort of hostel take over. He was much more sophisticated and mature for those kinda pranks now.
Giving the money back to the patrols the desperado would proclaim he only gambled for sport. Gaining what little honor could be granted among thieves. Thaddeus didn't expect people to take up arms in support of him, he didn't need them too. They just had to respect his authority and the control he had over the island. Stepping out of the gambling den. Thaddeus would be back on the streets of clockwork island again, late at night? Early in the morning who knows? Like the vagrant he was he would loiter around the streets with no real direction to go. Thaddeus hated wasting days, he would only allow himself a nights rest if he made some sort of progress on his objectives, and he'd made no real progress so far. With a bottle of booze in his hand the one eye'd gunslinger would plop his a** right on the side walk. Waiting for some sort of idea to strike him right over the head or something. Thaddeus needed money, he needed new nakama. Things would be much easier if he had others to rely on. Laid out like a bum if you looked closely you'd see the red haired man sleeping on a pile of garbage in someone's back alley... Just like the good old days.

Phinia arrived a few days later within the working machine that is Clockwork Island, it was a wonderful sound to her ears to listen to the ticking noise that resounded through the island. A single read eye looked about as she'd move along the streets, but she'd pause when she heard a rustling noise and a whimper of a woman. Ears twitched into that direction as she'd listen for a clear sound, No...please... the words were quiet in the jumble and within moment's Phinia shifted into snow and moved through the crowd drifting upwards onto a building to reform within moments. Ear's angled down into an alley she'd be able to spot the culprit not too far down near the opening of the alleyway, the smell of liquor and trash drew her towards the back of the alley where a red haired man was utterly passed out. She'd judge him as useless within three seconds before she'd return her attention to a man who was currently holding a woman against her will. An eyebrow drew down into a look of agiation, she couldn't really just sit idly by to watch a woman possibly get raped. Sighing as the man continued to try and coerce her while she repeated 'no' she'd move to lay on her stomach and pull her rifle around. As she propped the gun up she'd peer through the scope with her one good eye and.... bang. The shot fired and hit the man in the thigh, he screeched loudly and the woman took off, she'd smirk as she would reload her rifle and shift her body into snow again. In a flurry of white she'd drift down into the alley and appear soldified back into her normal form once again, she held the rifle up and point it at the screaming man, "Give me a reason to not shoot your c**k off you sick b*****d." the fox mink growled her fluffy tail lashing as snow fell around her. Phinia's back was to the man in the trash, he was passed out so she wasn't concerned about him.

What could I say Thaddeus was a heavy sleeper, he had no idea what manner of foul play was going on around him, or in the trash that he was sleeping in, and you know what? He didn't care! But only, Thaddeus wasn't that heavy of a sleeper, the constant screaming of the woman wasn't helping his hang over.
"God I hate this town." The ginger haired man would say, pulling his hat above his face. It was at the corner of his eye, that he noticed a fast moving force approaching. Even though he'd been a year, Thaddeus' haki hadn't dulled a bit, If anything he'd only gotten better. Sensing an incoming breeze of wind headed his way, the drunken cowboy would flick his hat. Shivers went down his skinny spine, as a massive cold front filled the alley way. Which was very unusual for a spring island like Clockwork Island. One hand firmly grasping his bottle of booze, the other clutching one of his light gun. "...."
Silently watching the gust of snow materialize into a... minkmen, Thaddeus had just made a racist assumption... you know because of the ears and tail. He'd watch the snowfox ready her rifle and take aim, pulling the trigger she's send a bullet straight through the leg of the friskier one out of the love birds. "Tsk." A moderate shot, perhaps about 30 or so feet from her target, minimal wind resistance, no sun glare. He would have been more impressed if she'd missed the shot honestly. Trying to get a good look up her skirt Thaddeus would sit himself up against the brick wall of the alley. Reaching in his pocket for another cigarette.
Another gust of chilling wind, and the fox would, reappear standing over the wounded man shouting. "Why did you prone for a straight shot? You could have just flown over too him and shot him point blank to save yourself some time lady." The desperado would say, exhaling a thick cloud of nicotine smoke. He'd seen about enough, he would have to know this persons name. It wasn't every day you came across a Devil Fruit user.

Phinia would continue to point the rifle at the man who was now bawling like a child, "P-please!" he whined, she sighed and looked up when she heard the strange sound of someone tutting. Ears flipped back and she whipped around pointing the gun at the male that had been sleeping previously on the trash. Her nose wrinkled in disgust at the smell of liquor, cigarettes and things that have been spoiled or rotting for the past few days. The fox minkman was less than pleased to hear what the male had said, "If there isn't money in it I don't bother taking lives, but I don't let disgusting pigs do what they want to women either." she growled as one ear twisted back to hear the man trying to crawl away. The gun shifted behind her as she would use her snow to take head to where the man was and fire, the sound of a cry of pain as she made good on her earlier promise of taking his 'son' away. She'd once again direct the gun back at the red haired eye patched man, "What's it to do with you anyways old man?" she grunted as the snow continued to fall around her, rifle still directed his way and the fox girl being clearly hostile towards him. She had no reason to be friendly, he was probably a broke a** drunkard by the way he looked, smelled and acted, who was he to judge her anyways? At least she wasn't lazing around in a pile of trash and ignoring the world around her! Then again she might as well have at times considering the fact if something didn't benefit her in some way she had no real reason to bother. Phi felt satisfied about getting one more scumbag off the street at the very least, even if her method was completely unorthodox.

Aki shows up strolling off her boat hopped onto the dock and rolled her shoulders. The muscular woman was on the prowl for a man, or two. Her sneakers squeaked against the wooden boards of the harbor as she strolled confidently in her short shorts and crop top. Muscles rippled with every dominant step. She rolled her neck, ligaments popping as she bumped to a beat that only she could hear. Aki smiled as she walked up, swinging her thick arms forward. With a flex and a wink, the kuja half-fish caused the harbor master to flush and swoon. The male worker nearly fainted when Aki blew him a kiss, a heart practically floating from her pursed plump lips. Muscles and ligaments popped as Aki rolled her neck SNAP CRACKLE POP! This was going to be fun, she mused. A smirk crossed her lips as she broke into a full on sprint. Sure, she wasn't fast, but every loping stride that Aki took was a heavy one. The ground practically shook beneath her sneakered feet as she thundered forward towards the floating town. BAM! The first people didn't even know what was happening as Aki crashed through the wall next to them, wood and plaster flying everywhere. There was now an Aki sized hole next to them and a massive woman with rippling deltoids eyeing up the men, silhouetted in said hollow. A smirk turned to a toothy, white grin as she locked eyes on a man and grabbed him by the collar, slinging him over her shoulder. With a huff, she rolled her shoulder and grabbed a nearby container and started dumping any possessions she could find into the bag before hulking through the next wall and into the adjacent building. The man on her shoulder screamed in terror as Aki tackled her way through building after build, stealing as she goes. "Hush now darlin." She commanded, patting his butt with her sizable free hand. With gave a appreciative squeeze, only making the comparably small man squirm more at the unwarranted attention. Sweat began to bead on her substantially broad shoulders and her built body as she worked. Well, earned her money and her man. "So, hun, how old are ya?" Aki asked the man as she threw a candelabra into her sack of shiny goodies. She readjusted him onto her shoulder as he screamed in response. "Oh that's mighty interestin. Me? I'm twenty seven, but you really shouldn't be askin a girl's age darlin." She laughed heartily as she made her way back towards her ship, screaming crowds of people running in terror from the husky woman. "Akikikiki~! You see this? That's how much I make in a day hun. Don't you wanna be with a woman with a good income?" A laugh echoed, nearly drowing out the sound of sirens and screaming. A building collapsed behind her as she chuckled, the bag of goods dropped in front of her as she held her stomach with one hand as she heartily guffawed.

Aki had just finished counting her spoils, rummaging through the bag with a herculean arm, and adjusting the poor unfortunate soul on her shoulder, when Fran arrived. The man was dropped unceremoniously, landing on his rump. WHOMP! Crawling forward on hands and knees, the unlucky male broke into a sprint. AAAAAAH! He screamed as he took the first available opportunity to get away.
Aki was otherwise preoccupied with giving Fran a good once over, her long lashes fluttering as those dark eyes roamed up and down the tall slender frame.
