And so they had arrived. The ship docked, Michellle humming a tune along the way. She said nothing about what she had said in Goa and refused to even really speak about it. Why should she? It would be foolish to even go on about what was said. She had said good job and now it was over. This was a new place and she would focus on something else.

"This is Lt. Grade Michelle whatever reporting in. We are arriving in Loguetwon but something seems off. How are the blue's even standing? There are raids going on everywhere. Can someon---"

                                                  She was cut off.

"We get it. You're doing your job! Just do you job!" Said another voice from her den den.

She blinked, closed the top on the snail and sailed into the dock silent. She stepped down, still not a word until she turned.

"This should be easier. Let's just do our jobs and move on ok?" She then turned again and made her way into the town.

The people looked...Bruised. She was confused. What had happened here? This was recent...Fairly recent. She stepped to a stronger looking man, his body ripe and filled with masculine muscles. She almost stared him down, looking over his battered body.

"Oh you need healing. Let me help you..." She mumbled...

Her hands explored the man, but as he seemed to whelp in pain, she rolled her eyes.

"All this body and you can't take some pain. Foolish. What do you even have---" She started, but she had been wrestling the man of his shirt and when it came off, she was blasted with the sight of a full stack of ribs.

"I cannot heal you. I am sorry." She stated, getting up and walking away.

The man would look at her confused as Michelle stepped onto the ship. Within a matter of minutes she would return, her eyes covered by spores. They just hovered above her eyes, but even still. She carried her tools, her medkit and bottles of wine that the spores carried for her. A bottle of wine dropped into the mans mouth, yes, dropped, as the spores forced him to drink. He would become quickly intoxicated, and then feel his body relaxing. He would drift off and Michelle would walk around the town asking about booboos and any information she could get.

She patched up the hurt, applying a healing Sullivan and giving them some of her best healing wine. The people would feel good, although a bit tipsy. When she was done, she began to ask.

"Can someone explain what happened?" She would ask those who seemed the least battered.

They would go off about a man, or a kid mostly who had eaten a fruit. He beat everyone and took their money! She rolled her eyes, but her spore blindfold kept her eyes hidden.

"That is horrid. Where would he have gone off to!?" She asked, even putting a hand to her lips as if concerned.

Her spores moved out of the way, the people pointing in all different directions. She sighed. She was ready to go, and so she nodded.

"We, the marines will make sure your tax paying dollars go off to us finding this horrid man! Child...Man-Child!" Michelle nodded.

She made her way back to the crew and yawned.

"So it seems we have someone beating up people and taking their stuff. We should go an--" She started, but her den den went off.

"I hope this is an a---" She started, but she was cut off.

Mt. Colubo? Isn't that...Near here?" She asked, rounding her finger in a circle and pointing to the boat.

"Off we go! Go! Go! We can catch them!" Michelle shouted, readying up the boat.

Could they get this guy in time? Could they have their first capture? Who knew. She was just doing her best at the coming situation!

As Xandria, Masae, Shinra and Michelle entered into Logue town, Xandria was at the top mast being the look out for the crew as she peered out into the town and saw that there were some smoke coming from the town. Tilting her head she went to the ladder and went down onto the main floor and walked up to Michelle as she heard from what she guessed was the higher ups telling her to just do her job then hanging up, Xandria remained quiet as she would help the ship get put at the port. Once at the port she left the ship along with Michelle and the others, the first thing she witnessed was that there a lot of people hurt in the town. Xandria quickly ran over to a pair who were injured as she crouched down and pulled out her first aid asking. "What happened here?" The woman looked up at Xandria to see that she was a marine and groaned as she held her head. "Some man walked in here and attacked everyone, then proceeded to steal from us." Xandria had a frown on her face she could just utter one word. "Pirates..." Just as she was about to apply some first aid on the pair that she was helping she looked up to see Michelle's spores hovering around the injured people. For a moment she looked up at the spores confused but when wine bottles were dropped into their mouths she would quickly jump back witnessing the injured people forcefully drink the wine then get quickly intoxicated. Xandria would question why Michelle did this but seeing that the injured people were laughing and have a better time rather than in pain she would take a sigh and realize that she just helped them out. Xandria knew that Michelle was a quite notable doctor with a unorthodox way of healing people she just never knew how she did it, but now she knew exactly what she used to help the injured. Xandria hoped she didn't get injured anytime soon since she wasn't much of a drinker herself, if anything she didn't drink at all. Xandria walked back to the ship as she waited while the others returned to the ship as well, looking at Michelle who explained to the crew that there was someone who was going around and beating people up while taking people's stuff. This made Xandria fold her arms in disgust and said. "Ugh Pirates, they think she can do whatever they want." But before Xandria could ask Michelle for anything else the den den mushi called in as she stopped herself from saying anything more as she turned to Masae for a moment then back at Michelle was she then heard her speak up. Something about Mt. Colubo; Xandria had never been there herself but she did hear stories of that island from her father, it was a normal village but they had a bandit problem there. Maybe the person who raided this town was an ex bandit, or maybe he was there causing havoc at that town too. Whatever it was it was their duty as marines to put a stop to this person; when Michelle shouted to the team to get moving, Xandria nodded as she quickly moved to the sail to get it moving to the ocean and towards Mt. Colubo.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTheme: Blue Bird (Remix)

From Ridus, to Goa, to Loguetown, these group of Marines had been a scattered, tactless bunch but at least they were good at their job. In between islands Azusa changed back into his Marine uniform and begun following them around the Blues, aiding when he could but never directly speaking to them. His notes were mental, some physical on a small pad and pen he kept buried within the coat-pocket of his uniformed jacket. A personal evaluation of them. Azusa was a harsh teacher but before he could begin lessons he needed to get a feel for the personalities of his students.

Charismatic and headstrong, a pair of positive traits but were fickle when applied incorrectly.

A coo escaped his lips. Another raided land as Azusa stepped foot upon shore once more. As always, everyone else hastily moved out to aid those in need. There were a few missing Marines, primarily the younger crew who'd gone off on their own ventures to handle the man whom Azusa described to them; apparently he'd been an ex-Marine. It made him rub his head in thought, while he was new he felt as though he should've at least heard of the man before now. However, that just meant that news doesn't trickle down very much to the lower ranks.

As the others were off aiding those in the distance, Azusa kept close watch. There were still others whom he'd been expecting to see so instead of his usual dinner and a show for those in need, he had someone stand in for him for the entertainment portion. He took up the role of surveyor. Scouring and scouting the land, gaining information on the culprits and sketching images as to who it may have been. It was tiresome work but he eventually managed to get an image as to who had done it, asking for confirmation to several individuals to make sure that he had gotten the eyes right given their uniqueness in shape.

Azusa helped with a few repairs here and there, aiding parents in locating lost children and vice-versa, leading them over to the makeshift town square where his follow Marines prepared them hot meals and set up tents for them to rest and recover in until repairs and reparations were completed. By this time, through word of mouth and a bit of eavesdropping, Azusa had gathering the names of the handful of Marines whom he'd had his eyes on. For now, he was quiet given there was more work to be done, but once they had a bit of free time he would address them; perhaps he could form some sort of workplace relationship with them and whip them all into shape. They certainly had the work ethic for it from what he could see.

There had been another man around whom he wished to speak to as well but Azusa no longer saw him among the crowd. Once all was well and they were packing up to leave he'd simply pluck them off one by one. The slender woman with bright green hair, another, more tomboyish figure with blonde hair, and a woman with black hair who appeared to be quite well curved.

"If you have a moment. I would like to speak with you all." He begun, their ship sailing off towards the next destination and is it did, he would share with them his thoughts about their etiquette.

The ship had pulled up to another village. Masae had parted ways when the team had gone to liberate, but she just joined back to see everyone there. Shinra had tagged along, something she did not expect him to do. Masae ran along the beach, scoping out how bad the damage was. Raids were being committed like it was New Years, and it was like the sea was on fire. At this rate, reimbursing wasn’t going to help out that much if the government couldn’t keep up with all these half-filled promises. Masae tended to wounds as she usually did, still sad that she kept seeing people hurt. The female continued to tend to other people, when a few crying children came up to her, pulling on her arm. She followed diligently, coming upon a large house. The father was having a hard time keeping the ceiling up. Upon seeing this, the Marine ran over, and helped him push the block over, revealing a younger inside. The mother had been critically injured, and Xandria was caring for her.

Masae checked on the children. It always seemed like she had a knack for doing so. Children always rushed to her. Always, every time she was around them. Someone else had joined their ventures. She had not seen him before, but when her eyes happened to glaze over his person, and she would be lying if she said he didn’t spark her interest. But now was not the time for that. Instead, she finished up the wounds, and patched up the villagers, before walking around to retrieve her jacket once more. She didnt know why she didn’t just left it on the ship, but it was whatever. Perhaps next time, she would be smart enough an actually remember to leave it on the ship to prevent it form getting dirty…like always. Getting back on the ship, Masae sat down on a shaded branch, and took off her heels,

“ Children keep getting hurt…it breaks my heart.”

She sighed, bending over to rub her feet. The maiden then caught onto the male speaking, and looked up at him. It seemed he wanted to converse, nothing too strange. Sometimes, men scared her. They could be ultimately creepy and perverted, while others were deceitful and manipulative. In the ocean, pirates tended to look down on females, but she could not defend the Marines either. Some men despised women with power, and while she wasn’t all too strong, she wanted to learn and grow, but how could she when others were oppressing her? It was like her gender had to work harder, but she knew that in the end, it was all worth it.

                                                  “ Hm? Whats wrong?”

She began to say, then realized she never introduced herself to him. Giving the man a warm, soft smile, the female said,

“ Ah… Masae Ueno. New Marine. And you are…?”

He was very muscular, with nice hair and wonderful complexion. While Michelle was more toned and chiseled, and Xandria was athletic, all this maiden had going for her was being a complete marshmallow. Yeah, her punches were fine. But she hoped that over time, she could be just like them, if not unique in her own way. Masae waited for an answer, patiently, not wanting to rush him. They couldn’t even go anywhere, it would take too much time to arrive at another raided area…so they had ample time.

[Enter from Fuusha Village]

It would not take long before the Marine sent someone after him again. This time, however, Gran would be expecting it, to an extent. After what he did to the Baratie and Fuusha Village, he might even appear on the newspaper. It was unknown to him how much information the Marine had though. It was also possible that the Marine did not know everything yet. Regardless, he made his way to his next stop, Loguetown. It was usually the last stop for people who wanted to enter the Grand Line as it was a city located on the island that was closest to the Grand Line. Because of that, many people, groups of pirates and marines alike, used it to restock their supplies. As a lone pirate, Gran had no such goal yet. But, soon enough, the time would come for him to form a crew of his own. Until then, he would continue the arduous task of making his name known across the Blues. This time's plan, however, did not involve any night raid or scouting first. He would boldly act on his intention to loot and pillage. After leaving his boat at the port, he walked around the warehouses that stored goods imported from other islands, choosing his targets meticulously. Because he had no ship yet, he could not take a large loot, it should be smaller and valuable. With those restrictions in place, he was able to filter which places to attack.

"Sea products, wood, ores, vegetables, metal parts of many types. Not a single good one..." he muttered to himself while moving past the warehouses as they were being loaded. Since it was early in the morning, he expected all of them to be receiving cargo or organizing their inventories but he was mistaken. An irrelevant one if he was able to ascertain the contents of the warehouses that were closed. For that reason, he had to deviate from his initial plan's simplicity and gather intelligence properly. He searched the back streets of Loguetown and the shady establishments of slum like areas until he found an information broker. It would cost him money but, it was impossible to make money without giving something in return. Since the price would be covered by the rewards later, he did not mind and purchased the information he needed. "There are no valuables scheduled to arrive within the next two weeks. However, there is a... certain statue being kept in the vault of the marine's warehouse. It seems to belong to an officer with connections to this city and would fetch a good amount of beli when sold. If you are willing to retrieve it, I can pay you a commission, and this information will be a freebie." the man tempted Gran. And it did not require much effort for him to accept the proposal. As it was unguarded to avoid attracting attention, Gran broke into it without any worries, tore the vault open and retrieved the small statue, that he brought to the broker in exchange of the payment. With the money in hand, he made his way to the port, where he planned on purchasing a ship.

The announcement of the raid ongoing in Loguetown was...honestly not that unexpected, for some reason they kept valuables there where pirates can easily access them by being bull headed. Humans were a strange species indeed to want to do something so foolish, she would sigh as she would step onto the docks and make her way quickly towards the warehouses, though she'd end up stopping when she saw the male holding what she had been debriefed on. A statue. She didn't understand why the marines were guarding something so...insignificant, but regardless this man was stealing and she would intercept him, "Halt, you have something you know doesn't belong to you." she stated in a calm voice as she would stare at him attempting to mimic what Luka had done before, "Surrender now or I will be forced to inflict bodily harm upon you." she stated looking clearly ready to fight to take the man in, if not to just retrieve what he had stolen.

It seemed that once again a nuisance appeared to hinder his plans. This time, it was a girl who wished to stop him as he made his way to the broker, before he could deliver the statue and earn his commission. "Really, now?" he would voice a complaint, not to the girl but to any God that could be playing such pranks on him. At least, this girl made her presence known before attacking Gran, unlike the other two who ruined his fun at the brothel. "Indeed, it's not mine. But I'm just the transporter you know. If you got complaints, direct them to the guy at the pawn shop." he tested her since she sounded calm, unlike the hotheaded armored man. If he could talk it out, maybe the two of them could even get to know each other. He wouldn't let his guard down because of that though. As a shielder, he had to be ready to receive an attack at any moment, so he could protect whatever it is that stands behind his shield.

Lily stared at the man as he ceased moving, she'd stare at him as he would start to speak to her in which she would tilt her head to the side, "It does not matter what you intend to do with it. You nor the person you intend to hand it off to do not have ownership. Since I do not see the person you are giving it to they are not the guilty party. This is your last warning. Surrender or I will take action." she'd state as she would flex her knuckled fingers while staring at the male.

Even though she was very different in her manners when compared to the previous marines he fought against, they were fundamentally the same when it came to their inflexibility. Just like them, she would not change her mind and was ready to fight as she threatened him by saying she would take action if he does not comply. Seeing that, he would place the small statue on a bench to his side. The people who were near them had already left as it looked like a fight could break out at any moment. Once he was done, he would turn around to her in order to state whether he would let her take it, or if he was going to oppose her. "Come at me girl." he would finally announce his decision while holding his shield on his left arm.

Lily sighed as the man would also not come quietly like the other robot, she'd look him over and decide what way to attack him best seeing as he looked like he would be high on the defensive side. When he turned and gave her the ok to attack she'd tilt her head, "I suppose even thieves have a code of conduct." she'd murmur merely walking forward towards him, she didn't even look like she was lethal or on the verge of attack as she closed the fifteen foot distance between them. As she closed the last several feet she'd suddenly break into a sprint and move as if to punch him in the face while completely expecting him to block it with his shield.

The girl walked towards him as if she held no intention of fighting but she broke into a sprint. Remembering the attack made by the other marine, he rose his shield, keeping it low enough to not cover his eyes as she closed in. As her punch would come at his face, he would raise his arm so that instead of receiving the impact, he would deflect her arm upwards, leaving her open to an attack of his, hopefully. An attack that would come in the form of his right hand's fingers and thumb shifting and turning into multiple iron chains, that would coil around her as if they were snakes.

She anticipated it, of course the man was going to block with his shield, that was quite obvious. Her punch stopped short as she would move back knowing full well that this man had to be capable with his weapon to be raiding, otherwise he wouldn't risk such things. A simple back step out onto the docks giving her a foot's distance from him only to notice the chains coming towards her, 'Fruit user, just like that man.' she thought idly wondering what to do this time around as she would grab the chains extended towards her, she'd raise her arm and take the chains moving as carefully as possible to not let them wrap anything but her left arm. She'd let her fingers grasp one to pull him forward hard and bring him towards her hoping to bring him as close as possible in order to hopefully disarm his shield from him. It seemed he could only fight with one hand as it was.

His shield hit nothing but air, as the woman took a step back to avoid it, having foreseen that he would block her. However, his chains still caught her, even if only her arm. She moved her arm as to tangle the chains and make it so it would not reach further than her arm. Not only that, she also attempted to pull him in. Because there was no disadvantage to him getting closer, he went along with the pull, and aimed to strike her with the edge of his shield.
