"Hoho, going bare knuckle then?" Yusuke wasn't sure what the small child had planned to do next, and yet he never thought she was down with the shits. In one motion his pipe hung horizontally from the back of his hip before lunging straight the girl.
Quickly closing the gap between the two of them did he dile down his speed in order to engage the gray haired child evenly. Without telegraphing his jab, did Yusuke's straight for the girl. Aimed straight for the face, he hoped to end this fight quickly.
-------- Hmph! The one eyed man misunderstood. He was always paying attention, more so when he was going to fight. He knew the man would spur, joining in on his fighting intentions. He looked to the open world he had set up, the rubble, the rampage, the destruction and smiled. This was what he was about, until the world showed him otherwise. People didn't fight for themselves, they just let others lead them. Juru did wonder what the red head wanted, and would have probably respected him, had he not sent out the shots. Turning, Juru would adjust his body, moving out of the first shots line of sight. The man had dodged light, he had dodged bullets. Would this be the name of the game? Who could Weave the most? Just like Thaddeus had moved, so had Juru, and so Juru now wondered where the man had gone. Pow! Pow! The sound of two shots. Juru's ears perked and he launched straight into the sky, thirty feet, looking over the Open area. There was rubble, there was no buildings, and there was targets. He could pick one of the three, and thus Juru dove right for the red man. For now he only had a small amount of moves and had to play it right. Last time he had lost due to over thinking, but now, this was different. He would lose because he was foolish. -------- --------
Watching the bullets fly past Slumdog Millionaire Thaddeus sucked his teeth, he was damn near close to blowing the man away. Watching the man leap into the sky, Thaddeus' eye followed him. The robotics in him transforming his left hand into his weapons left. See now Thaddeus was beginning to feel the haki within him. You see it took a little time to fully get up there, but with the spirit paid for it was only a post wait. Seemed he wasn't as sharp as he was before. But now with his haki fully activated he would aim his cannon upwards toward the sky. The angle that Thaddeus put himself at, he hadn't moved closer to Aladdin at all. He had sustained the distance. Leaping 30 feet into the only created more distance between them 45 feet to be exact, and made his shot easier with all the open space he'd jumped into.
"Didn't you know? Nothing is more mighty then the dollar."
Last words he would whisper to himself. Firing off a Buggy Ball from his Weapons Left. With the man coming straight down for Thaddeus he'd try to end it all in one blow. The Egyptian man would be confronted by an explosion of light, the likes of which the Glint Glint fruit could never replicate. And the explosion itself is what Thaddeus wanted the man to see, the flash of power that extended outwards of 50 feet. With the man suspended in mid air there was only a few options he could take, all of which in Thaddeus' mind still resulted in him getting blown away. We would just have to turn in again to see what happens next.
Buggy's Buggy Ball - A cannonball with the extreme explosive capabilities. This cannonball explodes to a max range of 50ft and does 100 base damage to all caught within the explosion.
Weapons Left - The arm rotates inward and the wrist opens like a door hinge. The opened arm can be used to shoot a cannonball or other large ammunition at a power of their Accuracy [+10]. This part utilizes the user's left forearm, the wrist, the palm and the backhand of the left hand and takes [2] Cola Fuel Points each use.
Technique Name: Basic Kenbunshoku Haki Description: Attainable at 150 spirit. For a brief moment (one post), the user gains insight to the hidden world. They are granted the ability to sense the presence of hidden individuals within a bounded, spherical space whose radius is determined by the user's Spirit stat divided by 10 and represented in feet. Detection, however, is not equivalent to understanding. Kenbunshoku must be activated the post before it is used. Basic Kenbunshoku Haki can be used once every [50] Spirit the user has: i.e. someone with 150 Spirit could use Basic Kenbunshoku Haki three times a fight at this level. Ah, so he was also going to fight with his fists. This would just come down to a good old fashioned bar brawl it seemed. Or...the ruins of a bar brawl. Either way, this would be a interesting fight. He didn’t look he could completely destroy her within seconds, compared to the other two. Those two seemed like they could destroy the entirety of East Blue if they wanted to. She was not getting in the way of that.
As she looked back towards Metal Pipe, he’d be right in her face. Damn he was fast, but he didn’t maintain his speed. Short bursts? Pity? What was his angle? This is the thoughts that appeared before Elyse’s face got rammed with the man’s fist. It was quick, it was painless, but it connected, and that’s all that mattered. Her head would reel back, and then would immediately come flying forward towards the man. Head, chest, arm, it didn’t matter what she got, but as long as she got something, then she’d be getting somewhere.
Even though his strike connected, it didn't stop the ash haired girl from countering with a head butt. He had to admit the small girl was spunk, bringing back found memories of his own siblings. Still, this was a fight. He wasn't just about to eat damage due to a bad case if nostalgia!
Thinking quickly, Yusuke leaned into to the onvomjng headbutt. While not a quick to the counter as she was, he was able to mitigate the damage by meeting her head midway. An audible thunk sounded off before a small trickle of blood ran down the brawlers face. Keeping between their heads, Yusuke brought a fist from his side, aiming to drive his knuckles into wild girl's rib cage.
-------- This man was not a normal man at all! This, Juru knew. There was something about the man, different, planning, scheming. There was something about it that Juru didn't like, not in the slightest. There was something to the man, like he had it all figured out, like he had already won or understood it all. This, Juru did not like. It wouldn't matter, for as Juru came closer and closer, he heard something, something odd, something changing, something...mechanical. Juru didn't understand it, until the red haired man's left hand changed, transforming into some sort of weapon. Juru was amazed and annoyed at the same time. "Didn't you know---Peeew! The blast of light the came from Juru's pointer finger, the sound of the light enough to drown out the mans next couple of words. This time, the beam wouldn't miss, nothing coming out of the cannon as Juru shifted his weight, landing just in-front of the red-head with a glowing blade of light pointed for the mans stomach. The beam had pierced through the red ones left shoulder, his machine part or whatever that Juru didn't like. "Don't miss!" A smile across Juru's face as he shoved the blade forward, a glint of anger in his eyes. Augmentations was not something he understood nor saw, like guns. He hated them both, and they were not signs of warriors, they were signs of guards. Juru hated guards. -------- --------

Remaining in place Thaddeus would hear the click of his arm cannon, empty. Sucking his teeth something was always going wrong with this piece of junk. Juru's incoming beam of light would strike Thaddeus' left shoulder, then seemingly bounce off of him. It wasn't due to his metal body, no it was due to the busoshoku haki he'd activated. It seemed as if Thaddeus' powers were returning to him, slowly but steadily. Smirking the reaction to Thaddeus' ability ought to give him some kicks. It was there that the Jackal man would attempt to land in front of him. However, the man had launched straight into the sky, thirty feet. And Thaddeus didn't think the man could fly, glide, or teleport. So when he would fall, he'd fall back down 30ft where he started from, keeping Thaddeus at the 15 foot distance that the light man had created. As the Egyptian looking man rushed him Thaddeus would waste milliseconds transforming his weapons left into beans left.
"I'll try not too this time."
Firing a volley of bullets from his arm turret, Thaddeus laughing would continue praying. Small scale explosions happening all over the indestructible tavern Thaddeus would wait and see how the light man would react to this one.
Technique Name: Basic Busoshoku Haki Description: The user may cover a single part of their body (arm, leg, hand, foot, head, or torso) in an invisible armor for a single post. It is activated by the user, thus is cannot be used if the user is caught off-guard. Basic Busoshoku Haki can be used to increase the user's offense or defense by [50] points. This level of Busoshoku allows the user to touch the tangible body of a fruit user, as noted above. Basic Busoshoku can be applied to weapons the user is holding, but only for as long as contact is maintained. Beans Left - An intricate device that modifies the user's wrist. The wrist twist inwards to expose four small holes at the top of the wrist that shoot rapid fire, explosive pellets like a machine gun with a power of Accuracy [+10]. Thunk! Ah, so he was meeting her half-way. This one, he was an interesting one. But he was bleeding, she could smell that on him. But she wouldn’t. What blood was there to give? She’d lost the ability to do that long ago. But now wasn’t the time for past events, she had to think fast. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see him winding his fist, so she decided to do what was best to avoid that situation.
Simply, she ducked. With the man leaning on her head, gravity should take effect and have him start falling forward. The windup would be disrupted, and hopeful before anything could happened, she’d attempt to propel herself forward, head-first, right into his stomach. That should take the wind out of him, and perhaps maybe knock him back, but that was up to what happened next.

-------- He had shot his light and it had bounced off? It upset Juru, maybe due to the metal being deflective. This just meant that Juru would have to try and fire harder. He felt the beam Should have pierced due to some sort of outside force, but this didn't seem to be the case. Since Juru had already been diving as stated before in a previous notion, but he landed among the rubble of the destroyed area. If this was the game to be played, they would have to feel each other out. The way to move was around the rubble he had once dove into previously. For now, he shrugged, looking for a way out of this. He honestly didn't want to do this anymore.
In a blaze of light, Juru turned into a collection of yellow butterflies,flying off into the distance, away from the situation, a legit move of his that could be found on his poster. The man fought with guns, something Juru didn't like, so this was for the birds. He was out. It was sad for whatever would happen to the girl. -------- --------

Interesting... thinking to himself as the small girl went on the prowl once he telegraphed a wind-up to the next attack. But this was intentional, a ploy to test her mettle you could say. Yusuke's free hand had stayed at his side, adding to the illusion of using his full weight for his next attack.
While he could clearly gauge her speed, it wouldn't hurt to lead the girl around by the nose. But alas, keeping a girl waiti was not his cup of tea. As her body closed in, he switched gears at full speed. His free hand, left stiffly open at his hip, lower than the flying ashtray at the moment, shot up with three times the speed than what was shown of the yankee. A palm strike flew dead center between her nonexistent bust and taught abdomen, which would cause her to literally *pop* right off his hand in mid-air.
It had been a little over a year since Samantha arrived at the waters of the East Blue's Conomi Islands. It was rather troublesome to sail across such a large sea with a mere boat but, thanks to her own perseverance, she was able to do so while rationing the little food she managed to bring with her. Luckily it was not an unknown sea and compasses worked just fine, she just had to keep her trips short, without risking going to distant islands when there were closer ones. The short trips between islands were numerous but fundamentally important for her to sail without running out of food. On this very day she had just arrived at an island where she planned on staying for a few weeks, perhaps even a month. The population of the island was simple and formed a village named Cocoyashi. The most known location of this island in particular was a large tangerine grove. And that was why the young self-proclaimed scientist, Samantha Blackthorn, came here. For the tangerines.
She was not particularly fond of citric fruits but she knew that there were many appliances that people from modest villages were not used to or did not even know about. And she wanted to change that. In the name of science, and in order to acquire a little bit of money. Although she really wasn't a genius scientist or anything, she was still able to come up with useful tools that could make one's life easier. Specially when one leads a life almost completely devoid of technology. Even if they had some tools, she had confidence that she could present better tools, that would be more efficient and effective than the ones they currently use to harvest the tangerines and process them. She just needed to have a word with the person in charge.
"Right... but I should talk to the villagers first, to get acquainted with them first. People usually dislike merchants who just come to them to sell stuff." recent experiences taught her so. Not too long ago she stopped by The Baratie with ideas to improve their floating restaurant. From different way to improve the ship's mobility to cooking utensils that were of a "different" and "better" design. Of course, they did not accept her suggestions so kindly and kicked her out as they thought she was some merchant trying to push them thrash that they did not need. As she tied her boat to the docking area of the island's port, Samantha started to think of how to win them over.

There did not seem to be many people at the port during the afternoon. Looking at the few people around, she could see fishermen unloading the cargo from a ship’s storage. Judging from the size of the container, they could probably catch thousands of fishes, depending on the species. And from how heavy it seemed to be, she guessed it was almost full. That sight made her long for a good meal with fried fishes. Prepared with a bit of lemon and pepper. Her stomach growled as if complaining that she started to think about food. So she tried to think about something else while.heading out of the port and towards the center of the village.
“Maan… these days the fishes seem to jump onto our ships. We have been getting so many that the prices started to drop.” said a man to another as they walked in the opposite direction of Samantha. He seemed to be part of the island’s fishermen and worried about the prices. Sam was not really interested in that and felt glad that shortly after their voices could no longer be heard. She did not want to keep thinking about fishes while being hungry. “This season’s harvest was great! The tangerines are so tasty! We should buy some more before they are all sold to those merchants.” said a woman to her children as they walked past Samantha. It seemed that just because she didn’t want to think about food until she found a restaurant, the world was set on make her think about food. However, as she was about to complain to the world, in her thoughts, she found the sole inn of the village.
A three stories wooden building with a signboard in front of it informing that there were vacancies. Right next to it was a restaurant where the guests and other people could eat. Once she walked in, she saw that there was a door leading from the reception to the restaurant. The two buildings were actually one. Only the inn had three floors though. “Welcome to Cocoyashi Inn! I have not seen your face around here before. Is it your first time here?” the receptionist greeted her from behind her desk. Since she was free, the girl got up and walked over to the entrance. “Hi. Uhm, yeah, I just arrived at the archipelago. I’m Samantha.” returning the greeting, she also introduced herself while trying her best to be polite. Although social skills were not her forte, she could manage the basic interactions.
“Then please come this way.” the girl replied and quickly returned to the desk where she opened a drawer and picked a paper sheet. After checking if it was the right one, she handed the paper to Samantha as she stopped in front of the desk. “Just fill this form so we can register you as a guest.” she added. The form required nothing but basic personal information such as name, birthplace, profession, etc. After she was done, Samantha returned the form to the girl. Now that she took a proper look at the girl, she could tell it was a rather young girl, probably in her early teens. No matter how she looked at it, the girl seemed a bit too young to be working there. “Alright, everything seems to be ok. Once again, welcome! Our fees are explained here.” she paused briefly to show the fees written on a different paper before continuing with her explanation. “Breakfast is served from seven to eight in the morning. Lunch is from eleven in the morning to one in the afternoon. Dinner is from six to eight at night.” she completed and waited for Samantha to decide for how many days she would be staying in the inn. “Ok, here’s the fee for a week.” she opened her bag and took the exact amount it would cost to stay there for seven days. The girl was quick to confirm that the amount was correct and registered the payment.
“Here, this is the key to your room. It’s the third on the left on the second floor.” the girl said as she handed Samantha a key with a numbered tag. Room 2 - 6. It probably meant second floor, sixth room. Or so she guessed. “Alright, thanks.” with those words, Samantha left to check her room. She didn’t expect much from what she paid and it was no high class hotel after all. To begin with, she was never one accustomed to luxury so a simple inn made her feel more comfortable. Walking upstairs she walked past some guests who seemed to be leaving the inn as they carried their luggage. Which reminded her, she only had three sets of clothes as she couldn’t carry much on her boat. “Maybe I should aim to buy a proper ship. Or make one myself.” she mumbled while walking down the corridor and quickly reached her bedroom. It had 2 - 6 written on the door so it was the right room. The key smoothly unlocked the door and she opened it with a bit of an unavoidable expectation as it would be her new home for a while. The room was simple, with a single bed, a bedside table, a table with two chairs and a wardrobe. On the wall opposite to the wardrobe there was another door. Since it was open, Samantha could see that it was a bathroom. It was something that made her glad as it meant she wouldn’t have to use a shared bathroom.
After she was done checking the room, Samantha placed her clothes in the wardrobe and left the bedroom, locking the door behind her. Once on the first floor, she headed towards the restaurant since she was hungry. She ate only some preserved food for lunch since she was on the boat at the time. Because of that she ended up not eating as much as she should so it was inevitable for her to feel hungry after a few hours. Her earlier thoughts about food when she saw the fish cargo or when she overheard people talk on the way to the inn didn’t help either.

Taking a seat by the windows of the restaurant, she chose a location where the sky was in sight. As one born with a natural sense for navigation, she acquired the habit of paying attention to the weather while eating. Because of the hour, the restaurant was almost empty, with no more than five tables being used. Soon after she sat down, a waitress came. She had a face identical to the receptionist’s but she was slightly older and taller. Both shared the same blonde hair but the waitress kept hers tied up in a ponytail while the receptionist’s was too short for that. “Welcome! Is this your first time here? Since you came from the inn you have a guest’s discount.” she immediately spoke lines that she probably decorated after working there for a long time. Considering that she was related to receptionist, this inn might be owned by a family. It was very possible, given the simplicity of the village.
“Ah, yes. I arrived at the island not too long ago and rented a room here.” she gave a reply and made a small pause, thinking about how similar the two were, before continuing. “And discount, huh? That’s good to know. Thanks!” were her words. The girl obviously noticed Samantha’s gaze and, because it was not the first time, she quickly spoke up. “You are probably wondering about me and Liz, right? She’s my lil sister. I’m Mia by the way.” the girl introduced herself. “Oh…” she felt slightly embarrassed that her thoughts and gaze were so obvious. “I’m Samantha, nice to meet you.” so she replied by introducing herself in a hurry, hoping to take the attention away from her blunder. “Um, do you have any suggestions? I don’t know if there is any local specialty.” she said honestly. Samantha wanted to eat fish but didn’t know whether their fish was the recommended dish. It was a village close to the shore so she had expectations though. “Nice to meet ya Sammy!” the girl replied to the introduction with a big smile before continuing to address to her question about a recommended dish. “As for my suggestion, we have a breaded tilapia seasoned with lemon and our special shrimp sauce.” the waitress gave her a suggestion that was enough for Samantha to nearly drool. “I will have that! It sounds delicious!” so she honestly replied while her eyes seemed to shine with expectation. The waitress giggled at that reaction and returned to the kitchen after confirming the order. A few minutes later, she brought Samantha some water while she waited for her meal.
Some more minutes passed and Sam watched a a group of people entered the restaurant from the street entrance. Mia did the same as before and walked over to greet the customers but, when she saw who it was, she hesitated a little. It was a group of three men, drunk to the point it wouldn’t be weird if they combusted if someone lit a match. She wasn’t afraid but her face showed that she considered the men as troublesome. Nevertheless, a client is a client. She approached their table, while Samantha observed out of concern, and took their order. Nothing happened so far. However, as time passed they grew impatient. They ordered beers and other alcoholic beverages but complained that their food wasn’t ready yet. Instead of ordering something that was prepared quickly, they seemed to have ordered the same as Samantha. And she only found that out when one of the men tried to steal Samantha’s meal while Mia was carrying it to her table. At that moment, however, a two meters tall man left the kitchen and stood between Mia and the drunkard. He pushed the man back to his seat and gave them a warning.
It did not take long for the man become noisy again. This time, however, he picked a fight with one of the waiters and a customer who arrived after they were already there. Things almost got out of hand until the same man from before came out of the kitchen and kicked the drunkards out of the restaurant. He made sure they paid for everything first though. Once things calmed down, Mia apologized to Samantha for almost allowing her food to be stolen and for having witnessed such a despicable thing. Since she was a bit too persistent in apologizing, Samantha said that she would have to keep her company and the two started to chat while eating. At some point the girl brought some snacks and drinks as courtesy and even gave Samantha a weird looking fruit. Since she insisted, Samantha ate it but it was disgusting. Despite that she gave her best to not let it show since the girl was trying to apologize.
