"Well, that last part's kind of a definite," Etsali said, but Voscil was already in the haystack before she'd even finished. The thief half wondered if she'd even heard her, but then shook her head with a laugh. It didn't matter much either way, did it? She lifted a hand to wave to the farmer in charge of the game, and then dove in after her friend. It was hard to make any headway in there, especially since she could feel pieces sticking to the mud she was covered in. She made a valiant attempt anyway, and eventually came out the other side with two handfuls of hay.
She went through those bit by bit, and had to admit defeat again. Next time for sure, though! Turning back to wait for sign of Voscil, she spared a glance down at herself and bit down on a giggle. She was more hay than troll at this point.
