With a sigh, Noel gave up on touching the water. He’d get an opportunity to return at some point and try again he imagined but he really should focus back on the egg hunt. Turning, he maneuvered his way over to the fields of purple flowers. He’d watched Algernon disappear in this direction and figured he’d probably still be here looking if that were the case. There weren’t many places to go after all. It didn’t take long for him to find his pokemon (though to some degree, Algernon did blend in with the flowers) and smiled when the Espurr produced the egg they’d been looking for. Without hesitation, Noel sent it off and pulled out the riding pager. There was just one more island to go. This was kind of exciting.

It appeared even she realized that the search wouldn’t be nearly as easy as the last few ones. Ashley had the suspicion that they would have to do a bit of scaling of the rocks up to the upper platforms to locate an egg for themselves. It was evident that some of the branches were intended to be walking paths for individuals and so Ashley used a mixture of the rock ledges and the branches to head up. It was long and winding and at certain points, semi-dangerous but he didn’t seem phased at all. If anything, by the time he reached a ledge that he felt confident in searching, he had an enthused smirk written across his face. Swatting the dust from his clothes, it looked like he’d be needing a bath as well at some point, he started to check around for an egg. Luckily, he’d chosen well and found one, quickly scaling his way back down to his pokemon and things. The Eevee looked surprised at how quickly he returned, mewling in a congratulatory fashion which only made Ashley’s smirk grow a bit more. Of course; he had his tactics as well. This Trainer was going to be a tad bit of trouble for Misa. Considering that Fairy-type Pokemon had a very good resistance against Fighting and Dark-type Pokemon. It didn’t help that Dragon-type moves had no effect on this type either. That meant Dratini was a no go for this battle even when she wanted to get it stronger. That meant she would have to rely on Jigglypuff, depending on how long it could actually last in this battle. Maybe Nidoran, definitely Vaporeon and Venusaur could be counted on.

Depending on the next opponent would determine if she would continue using Jigglypuff. Misa didn’t usually keep her Pokemon out, especially when they could sustain a bit of damage. There were going to be exceptions but she wanted Jigglypuff to get as much experience as it could. Once in Kanto they might not have this luxury. So while the opponents here were tailored towards her Pokemon’s levels then she was going to try to squeeze as much experience as possible. Of course she would go and heal up Jigglypuff once this was all wrapped up and on their way to their next destination.

This time Misa returned Jigglypuff back into its ball. Another hit and this Pokemon wasn’t going to make it. She wasn’t going to chance such an attack so it would have been better to summon another for this next match-up.
