The clawed mortal was amusing to sat the least. With a chuckle Harmonia answered, "Most, but there are still mysteries out there." The land of Furies came to mind, one place she could never step foot. Her own home was one no mortal could go in return. The way of the world but she was very comfortable with it all. This place had its perks, her Champion and some really adorable mortals.
As he introduced himself so wonderfully, she in turn put her hand out not put off by the claws, "A very unique feature, nice to meet you Caine." Claw and Caine, at the least his first initial would be easy to remember. No other mortal had claws, it was fairly neat.
Then her beloved Champion appeared, his voice unmistakable. A curved grin followed with her suggestion, "Maybe a moonlight stroll tonight?" Ideas were forming at a lovely pace. Between the two there appeared to be some recognition between her Champion and the clawed mortal. She watched Caine to see if he knew the other. As they had been to a few of the same parties, a obvious reason to see one another.
The spotted angel was not ignored, he was afforded her attention until he no longer required it. "Don't what?" More baffling then his clothing choice was his reaction to her. There was no other word for it, Lillibeth was utterly confused. "Oh 'ntzy, I have no intention of eating you, I don't think those shoes would sit well." While there was a look of consideration, the idea was utterly silly. Oh the odd baubles that appear during Venus' events.

After such an eventful, yet not nearly eventful enough evening, Shahrazad had spent her night alone with but some liquor and sweet treats to keep her company. Not a terrible way to end the evening, even if she could not convince her love (Kelebek) to bed with her. In fact, it was a downright pleasant way to fall asleep in the soft folds of her room's blankets.
Given that it had been nearly two days since she'd left her children to themselves, the feline decided to pay their room a visit; the scene of her arrival had shown exactly what she'd expected of them given their aptitude to quarrel among each other and make a mess of any situation and the extended period they'd have (mostly) only their company to partake in.Saira's evening could have gone better if she'd not had to argue with her hero for so long. Their meeting and departure was so bittersweet, in fact, that she'd been made to drink away her lonely sorrows at the bar until the dance was all but over. She'd been the second one to return to the shared room, her roommate - that stupid pigeon - all but forgotten until she was once again within her line of site.
And on her bed.
Sleeping.
Needless to day, the ensuing argument and quarreling had been loud enough to call forth the cherubs, who (again) warned them of making too much noise and disturbing the other guests. Saira had taken the bed with Hatil (rightfully) sent back to her place on the couch, and the night before seemed but a dream due to the throbbing in her head the following morning. She had not been a pretty face for her mother to look at, and was actually made to clean herself proper before they made landing at the island. Relative to the other two, Hatil's (romantic) endeavors had been far more successful. After spending some time making (horrid) music with Valko as a (terribly) loud duet, she'd left him with a kiss and a promise to meet up sometime later on the trip. Excluding the disturbance by her old crow of a sister, it had been a rather wonderful evening, so she'd awoken in far better spirits than her family, ready to take on the day and find her new friend to talk with again. Her viola was hidden underneath the couch, carefully tucked away so the cleaning crew wouldn't notice it (or at least not bother to retrieve it). Leading the other two, Saira to her side and Hatil just behind them, Shahrazad made her way down the side of the boat and made an effort to avoid the growing group of those accepting leis from the goddess. There were perfectly good cherubs being left her on the side alone, after all. Once the three of them were sufficiently flowery, the demon made her way to the freshwater pool and found a chair to lounge about under the sun.Saira had intended on following her mother and sitting beside her at the pool, but was promptly shooed away to leave her be. Huffing, the bird instead moved inside of the resort building and, not particularly having a stomach for food at the moment, instead went to look around the activity center.Not bothering her mother, Hatil moved to the opposite side of the pool and stuck her claws in, smiling at the cool sensation, before looking around and staring to see if/when her friend would walk off the ship. Hopefully her bright green plumage was enough for him to notice her.

Pelagious attempted to keep his coronary to a minimum but was slightly insulted by her slightly insulted tone of voice. Was he not good enuff to eat? The other bird had thought so. She had attempted to tear his eyes out!! Looking up from the birdie's feet, he gave her a haughty look, instead of the sorrowful one that had occupied his face only moment's ago. "What do you mean, nasty? Are you implying I would taste bad???!!" he asked. Yup. Suffice it to say, the small nymph was back to himself this morning. Quickly dragging himself from the floor, he gave his outfit a brief dusting and the giant woodpecker a dirty look. "Well, I will have you know, that I would taste FABULOUS!" he snapped.

Oh the little bauble was not making much sense at all, "'ntzy, darling, not nasty. I don't care for the word." Though it fit a lot of things, it just wasn't a pretty enough word to use. Now Chintzy, that was a lovely word for this bizarre pae. Brazen fit, just the courage to walk around like that was more than most pae would even dare.
His comment drew a smile as she fully ignored his dirty looks and just leaned a little closer, "Oh really, you are that sure of your taste?" If he tasted how he dressed not even a naga would try him. Maybe it was some incredibly clever camouflage? Lillibeth decided she liked this one as well, just like her darling little gnome. Really, she had to see just how he was doing surely he missed her company.

As Bastet began her hike, she heard the goddess call out to her, warning about the jungle. Her brows furrowed thoughtfully. She wasn't familiar with this island, but she doubted there was anything that was a threat to her in this jungle. However, she would do her best to heed the advice anyways.
Bastet began following the path towards the waterfall, breathing in the fresh air. There really wasn't much on this hike that was different from her two previous homes. She considered for a moment if she would head back to the hotel before she even reached the waterfall. She could really care less about the waterfall and was more interested in stretching her limbs, once she was done with that, the hotel would probably provide more entertainment for her than the hike. The feline pae began to travel at a jogging pace, enjoying the freedom to move around without running into a pae or the side of the boat.

Waking up that morning was similar to waking up from a hangover, only the complete opposite. Cerelia had fallen asleep completely miserable, but now she woke up feeling fantastic. It wasn't that she really felt supreme amazing, but even ordinary felt great compared to how she felt the night before. Though... Nothing could compare to the sheer joy she had felt when she first gazed upon that harpy. Thinking about that joy being gone still made her feel a little down, but nothing like the depression she had fallen into the previous evening.
Cerelia made her way down to the island, cute and quaint in its own little way, With a hotel and everything, she had to wonder if these gods had built the island just for this. As a lei was tossed over her head, Cerelia couldn't help but giggle, she just felt so much better, and she knew she would feel even greater after taking a quick dip in the ocean to rehydrate before seeing what else the island had to offer her.

Azure yawned as he prepared to get off of the ship with Dyas. They still hadn't done that couples massage that he had so greatly needed, so doing a relaxing activity with Dyas was at the forefront of his mind. He glanced over at her, feeling slightly uncertain, the night before had been a strange one and he couldn't help but feel that he had made a mess of their honeymooniversary. Maybe a relaxing activity wasn't what they needed, maybe they needed some sort of... well he wasn't sure what all would be offered on the island yet, but hopefully there was something that would ignite a little romantic passion for the two of them. Was that what they needed? Azure had no idea.

Dysmas looked over the rail of the boat at the new island they were approaching. He was fairly certain it was a new island and not the one he had been stranded on with Sweetie. It had been so long though that it seemed completely possible that the island had changed so significantly. There was some nervous flutter in his stomach, but for the most part Dysmas was starting to feel pretty good about things now. He wasn't sure how Sweetie was feeling though. In her concern for him, she masked whatever true feelings she had well. He tilted his head, looking at his companion. "Here we are." He said thoughtfully, deciding that he was actually eager to spend time with Sweetie on this different island. Besides, if they got stuck on this island at least there was this large resort for them to stay in and Dysmas wouldn't have to build anything. He really needed the break from building, he wasn't even that great at it.

Pelagious hmphed a little as she corrected him. Darn tooting he wasn't nasty. He was probably the best tasting thing out here. Aside from the buffet. This bird brain would have to crazy not to wanna gnaw at his nicely toned calves... Then she leaned closer and he about shite himself. Again. "On second thought, I might have over calculated my taste. Perhaps I am fishy and..." he trailed off when he realized that as a bird, she probably really enjoyed fish. "I mean...Ummm...Candy? I taste like candy?" he managed to squeak out the rest before attempting to slowly step away from, once again, ominous bird.

She deserved points for keeping it together. If it weren't for appearances this would probably be one of the funniest events all trip. Reaching out, Lillibeth came just short of being able to touch him before trilling sweetly, "Oh I do like a sweet treat." He didn't seem much like a treat, however. Finally, she pulled her hand back, "Lucky for you, I prefer my meal smoking." He was not nearly hot enough to count.
It was unfair to menace him so, but he was male and amusing. Surely that was a pass.

What a beautiful island paradise! The sun was bright and warm in the sky, tropical birds sang their lovely song. This was absolutely the spot to be in order to have a relaxing time. Or was it?
As Pae exited the boat and made their way to explore their new island spot, some began to go missing! Some may be noticed, some not so much. Either way, where the Pae had been before was now just a bunch of muddy little paw prints leading into the jungle. What did it mean?
Those Pae who have been nabbed will wake up in a giant bamboo cage. They will try to tug and seek a way out, but wont find any. When they look around they notice a jungle surrounding you, but not much else with how thick it is. Where are you?***Note for those kidnapped: If you have yet to post with the Pae feel free to have an entrance and a way your Pae gets nabbed- just without seeing their kidnappers of course. We're leaving it open for you to be creative with! Note for those left behind: Little clues have been left behind! Feel free to interact with them and quote Mysteries... Might lead you somewhere. Sweetie had almost entirely calmed down from the trip being on a boat. Okay, more like relaxed so much. It wasn't until they approached land her anxiety had begun to rear it's ugly head. What if this was the same island they'd been trapped on waiting for rescue? But there were a bunch of other pae with them this time, and a super big, and probably luxurious place to stay. At least Dysmas wouldn't have to build anything. And she wouldn't have to lift anything. That thought was a moment of relief.
"On an island we don't have to build a hut on~" she smiled, doing everything she could to throw any thoughts of their previous trips out the window. The fauny happily snuggled up to the love of her life, wanting to spend time with him. There was even a bunch of stuff to do that involved areas around water! "Maybe they've got a really nice waterfall we can hang around in?" She offered, really meaning a place for him to keep nice and hydrated and a place she could watch him swim. Oh Celestia how he looked when he was swimming.
She was happily walking next to him, down the gangplank, on the dock, and even past the little things greeting them and giving them flowered things. She grinned, wearing the lei as if it were a sign that nothing terrible was going to happen on this island. Her attention was on Dysmas, her very tall and handsome man, when out of nowhere, she was pulled away. How in Celestia's Great Mane was she pulled away from Dysmas?! And that was all she remembered.
~~~
A while later, the fauny came to. Groaning something about her head hurting and sleeping in a seriously uncomfortable position. She opened her eyes and blinked a little. Bars? "Seriously? Seriously. I quit. Never leaving home again." She sighed, rather irritated every time she tried to do something with Dysmas outside of their home, something happened. A lot of somethings happened.
Not one to stay trapped forever, Sweetie started looking for a way to get out of whatever it was holding her in place. At least there was room for her to move around and see what was going on. She started tugging at the bars, wondering if something would give. No such luck. Sweetie tried not to loose it. This was seriously not cool. Here she was in the middle of a jungle, surrounded by Celestia only knows what, trapped inside a giant cage! At least it was better than being trapped on an island where she had no chance of shelter or getting out of the sun's harmful rays. She was so distracted with her own thoughts she hardly noticed the other pae in the cage with her.
Junior grinned, thrilled to hear her call him her husband. He still couldn't believe she's said yes. To anything at all that had happened last night. It was most certainly a night he'd never forget.
"Shall we head there first then, My Love?" He asked, sweeping her off her feet to whisk her away to the scenic waterfall. Junior caught a glimpse of his uncle, and... grandson. Well that was weird. And they were off. That's what he got for being related to half the island.Caine bubbled when she shook his claw. Guardians, this had to be the nicest deity ever! How could he have gotten so lucky?! And she complimented him too! He would've melted if her attention hadn't turned to the very familiar looking fae. Caine blinked, tilting his head.
"Uncle Tristen?" he squeaked, looking up to him. Oh! Oh o.o He blinked, realizing that this was probably the reason the most generous and amazing deity he'd ever knowingly spoken to, had been so nice to him. She was waiting for his uncle! The look of confusion on his face morphed to one of the same level of happiness he'd had only a half moment before. No matter what the reason, he'd still gotten to talk to Harmonia. The shetani squeaked, tackling his uncle in a huge hug. He loved his family.Tartara Seabreeze Junior -> Nereus, on top Caine -> Tristen, on bottom
((Late post for entrances to the island)) Zaden did NOT want to leave her room with all it's accumulated foodstuffs and drinkstuffs, not to mention last time she went on an island was a pure and utter nightmare. It was not an experience she wanted to repeat. She swore to herself if they did another treasure hunt she'd turn the other way this time and not go. Zaden wanted to just be served by those annoying little creatures that showed up every time she called for more foodstuffs, they listened to her far more then Payne did Payne just liked to grump about it. But in the end she wound up using a pillowcase to take as much of her food-stuffs with her as she left the ship and made her way onto the island and towards the building most others went to as well.Sommer liked the idea of having a new friend who WASN'T related to her in some way. So even as the party ended the brightly colored angel stuck with Neli, she took what she wanted from that ship's room she'd used and skipped after Neli and her sister off the boat and onto the island. So far so good Sommer was avoiding Junior's eyes, so far as she knew.Strawberri Stardust Carnelian ~ gonna let you post about the kidnapping before I have her react to it. Vash had totally lost sight of the girl no guy the night before, but in the end had flirted with several more pae even though he was still smitten and watching for the one pae the whole time. After the party came to an end he reluctantly left and rested up in his room. In the morning when they came to port he spruced up and disembarked the ship heading into the hotel for some R&R and perhaps a nice dip in a pool... if they have one.Bramble was a bit of a mess when she left the party after her wrestle with the other pae. It took her quite a while to re-preen herself when she returned to her room. In the morning she avoided the other bird-paes as she left the ship wanting adventure and fun... and friends but so far there wasn't many of those on the horizon.{{ Vash, Zaden and Bramble open for interaction }}
Mayu woke later than normal, which was to be expected after keeping such a late hour with Venus' party. She'd done well to keep away from any suspicious drinks, and was rewarded with waking feeling normal. Sure, she was a bit run down feeling from the change of sleep, but otherwise she couldn't complain. The only problem was her sleep was cutting into her pampering hours. Ah well, the island would just have to wait a bit longer on the Harpy Matriarch.
As she primed her feathers she reflected on the peculiar harpy she had met at the party. What a sweetheart, but so misguided! Had Mayu truly led her on to believe she 'went that way'. She really did feel bad having to turn the poor dear down, but it was just not in her blood! No, she did not desire to, what was the saying? 'Shack up'? Yes, she did not feel the desire to 'shack up' with another female. She'd hoped she had at least let the dear down gently. If not, Mayu supposed she could seek her out again to make sure no feelings were hurt.
Then again, she didn't feel like fighting the warrior if it came to that.
She pushed the thoughts from her mind as she made her way off the boat. She was surprised to see she wasn't one of the final Pae to be exiting. Were the others taking their sweet time as well? She'd think everyone would be thrilled to have made it to land! Just one look at it and you were overwhelmed by its beauty! How had they not all stampeded off by now? Oh, right, some had been heavily drinking! Silly, Mayu. Well, she had a plan to meet with her dear sister so no more time to dally.
She received a lei with a bright smile, moving it about her neck for a moment as she tried to find the perfect spot for it to lay against her. It had to work with the rest of her gleaming jewelry! Ah, right there! Yes, that would do nicely. She hadn't been paying an ounce of attention as she made her way towards the hiking paths. She'd asked Lillibeth to meet her so they could have the chance of seeing the waterfalls. It sounded too beautiful to miss. Instead, during her distraction, everything went dark as if something were covering her eyes. In an instant the Harpy was ready with her claws lashing out at whatever was over her, but as soon as she was ready to fight, anything deadly on her was wrapped up and detained. How dare they treat her in such a way! She was Venus' own companion! Once she found out the way she was being handled...
She would have given them a mighty tongue lashing had something not been lodged into her mouth. Instead she wiggled and made as many noises as she possibly could in hopes that something would come loose and she'd get the upper hand. How had she been caught so off guard!? Oh, right, because she had believed this was a place of relaxing! Had the spartan sisters not checked things out before Pae exited the ship? What if this was happening to others!? She did not realize, but in her struggle she'd loosen a few feathers that landed in the place where she was to meet her sister and a few down towards the jungle. If her sister made it she might notice these as well as the muddy tracks...
***
Mayu huffed at the bamboo bars. There was something odd about them. Shouldn't she be able to chip them with her finely manicured talons? She wasn't that much of a weakling was she? Yes, there had to be something extraordinarily sinister with this cage she'd found herself in. In this whole situation.
It hadn't been long since she'd been tossed in here and her restraints removed. It didn't mean she had caught a single glance at her captors when she'd finally managed to get the head covering off, but she had had some time to get a look around before the others woke up. Speaking of, she made her way over to one groaning and hovered over her a moment, “You alright, dear?” she asked softly. Ah! Her eyes were blinking open!
She moved out of the other's way to let her wake up a bit more and have a look around. She didn't speak or make mention she'd already tried it because who knew, maybe she'd find something Mayu hadn't. She just watched her till the other seemed to settle down into her thoughts. By the faces she was making it didn't seem like anything good. She cleared her throat trying to grab her attention, “We will get this figured out. Don't let your mind wander to dangerous places.” She spoke with a caring tone, walking over to stand beside her. “I am Mayu, Venus' own companion, that alone will have her and my own flock after whoever has done this. Help will be on its way in no time.” She sounded proud of that, but more of a motherly way that boasting about her own status. She loved those she considered her family and knew they did as well.
“Ah, excuse me, may I have your name as well, dear? I suppose we are a team now to figure things out on our end. Make it easier on the others looking for us. Will you have someone looking for you?”
