This was how he died. Waiting forever on a woman. He was going to wear a path down from his pacing in front of the door.

And then, he heard the door open. With a sigh of relief, the male looked up. Then proceeded to freeze in place.

His blue eye followed her as she moved to grab his hat, frozen in stunned silence. Only after the hat was on his head and her hand extended, did he finally find words. "Yer...pretty." He had always found her utterly gorgeous. It was why he even brought her on his ship in the first place, simply as a piece of booty. But this was feminine, a completely different side to her that he'd never seen. "How'd ye do that?" Looking like this, if he hadn't seen it with his own eye he'd never think she was the type to punch a fella in the face for a boorish word.

He took her by the arm to start walking out of the room, but kept glancing at her, trying to incorporate the look into memory.

Don't look at her. Don't look at her. Hold it together. He kept repeating in his head like a mantra. He focused on getting to the party, which with such a large staircase was no easy feat with a blind girl on his arm. "Okay. S-so, we're almost there..."

Then a strange feeling came over him. Like suddenly the butterflies in his stomach all calmed down, a rush of confidence took its place. He turned his head to look at the female. He could talk to her, he was a real catch! She even called him hot stuff! "You are the most beautiful pae I've ever seen in my entire life."

Did he really just say that? It felt right. He couldn't believe what he was saying, but it came so naturally. "If I believed in love at first sight, half the guys here would be shoving me away from you."

That morning had been an ... awkward ... one to say the least, but not as awkward as it could have become given their drunken state. Quite frankly, Koit could not believe she took it as well as she did and had even agreed to come to the dance with him, given how they had more-or-less just met and he was supposedly set to sleep upon the couch.

At least it had only been at her feet, for his sake anyways.

Glancing to his side at the absolutely astoundingly alluring Niday, he thanked the Guardians for his good fortunes. As beautiful as she had been earlier, the dress that's sparkles brought attention to the way it just hugged her curves ... the way her hair, now let loose, accentuated her collarbone and followed behind her like moonlight ... Well, he felt rather plain in her presence with his slicked-down hair, a white, button-up vest covering a light blue polo shirt, sleeves folded up just above the elbow, and an orange, plaid bow tie.

Guiding her to the dance floor (or perhaps it was she who guided him), he nodded in agreement. "It is far nicer than anything I have ever experienced. I'm almost at a loss for words."

Nicky blushed, how could she just say that? Sure, she was okay thinking it, and then swearing to never say anything about it ever again, but to outright say it?! Venus help her that wasn't at all like something she'd normally do! But he called her beautiful. D-did he really mean that? She squeaked, blushing more as he continued on.

"It's a good thing you're so handsome Baliel, Why was her voice not squeaky and high pitched, "because all of those men are intimidated by you." Nicky's compliment finished, ending with a kiss to his cheek. Whatever it was about this party was certainly making her feel a heck of a lot bolder when she was speaking to Baliel.

She rather liked his little orange bow tie, but she wouldn't say. Especially with how awkward their morning was. Niday couldn't help but smile a bit though as she noticed where he was leading her. The dance floor? Quite bold of him. Maybe it was his youth that made him push boundaries, but she couldn't say she hated it.

But as she glided towards their destination, a thought occurred to her. "So...Can you dance without feet?" The fae spoke as she turned towards him, her spare hand lifting to softly land on his shoulder.

Him? Intimidating? He knew he shouldn't believe that, but he felt like he could take the island by storm at the moment. And then she kissed him. Well, his cheek. But SHE KISSED HIM! "I'd say I'm lucky for my looks, but really I'm lucky to know you." The absolute truth. "Would you dance with me? I want to know what it feels like to dance with the prettiest girl on the isle." He couldn't stop his smooth talking words! A moment ago he was tongue tied, and now he was showering her in compliments and acting way suaver than he ever felt before.

Did someone beat him to the punch of spiking it? But he didn't drink anything yet. Very, very strange.

The bow tie always felt a bit ridiculous to Iordanes. By now he was accustomed to simply ignoring its presence, but it seemed to have neither the chest-broadening effect it gave to his brothers, nor the charming effect it gave to his sisters. It felt simply silly. However, Mother insisted.

He liked to keep somewhat a low profile where the fancy parties were concerned. Especially when there would be arrows loose. Somehow his presence caused a bit of apprehension among the partygoers. Iordanes couldn't imagine why.

Still, he did like to stir things up a bit, especially where male egos were concerned. He watched as the pirate swaggered into the ballroom, attended by his pastel companion. Such a display of machismo made his lips curl into a smirk and put a glimmer in his eye. He loosed an arrow into the male, and then, because all was fair aboard this vessel, put one in his lady friend as well. Then he retreated to a place where he could watch his chaos unfold.

Euphrosyne wished she could wear a beautiful ball gown like some of the partygoers were showing up in. But alas--bow tie. She supposed that it was more professional, and, after all, she was here to do a job! She was hovering near the wine bar area, ready to serve the finest wine these mortals had ever tasted. And, of course, her quiver stood at the ready.

She'd never seen her arrows as being instruments of chaos; rather, much like wine, they caused mirth and celebration! She scanned the crowd, eager to find someone to share her gift with.

Aha!

A sweet femme stood on her own. She looked like she wanted to join the party, but lacked a partner. Euphrosyne could fix that. She grabbed her bow and quiver and shot a quick and silent arrow in her direction. With a satisfied smile, she watched as the magic took hold, like golden sunshine spreading over the mortal's face.

Cerelia has been hit by an arrow! This will cause her to become very happy with the first Pae she sees (who this is is up to you)! Isn't she lucky!

A soft laugh escaped Andro's lips as Darias made his observation, followed by his question. "Oh, you know, the typical female rituals: make a blood sacrifice and eat a still beating heart." She leaned into him a little. "I took a good scrub, and probably got rid of layers of dirt and skin, washed my hair, and put on a dress. That's all. It wasn't very hard."

She could see him looking at her, repeatedly giving her side long glances, and it only made her smile even wider. There was something incredible about how fascinated he was over her transformation, maybe she'd dress like this more often. At least in private, since this would be completely unreasonable to work in the rigging with.

As they entered into the stunning room that housed Venus' party, Andromeda looked around with her mouth slightly agape. "Wow.... This is insane." She muttered softly as she tried to take it all in. "Where... where do we start?"

She was so busy looking around that she hardly noticed how strange her body felt. No, it must have been the electricity and excitement that caused her body to feel so weird and numb. It wasn't until she looked back to Darias that she noticed something was off...

With a cry of surprise, she jumped back. "You-you.... BOOBS! My voice..." Her voice was changed. Deeper. In a panic, she looked down at her own chest, only to find that her own rack was gone. Pure panic was overtaking the poor thing, and Addro's head began to spin a little.

Her sass was rewarded with a full belly laugh, followed by a swift smack on her behind. There was never a dull moment with her!

As they made their way down the staircase, his chest already started to puff out with pride at having no doubt the prettiest lass at the whole party. "Well...there be free food?" Course his first reaction was for some grub and grog. His good eye caught sight of a fella looking, and his chest swelled further.

Only, he noticed it was REALLY swollen. Just then Andromeda leaped away with a shout about the very thing he just noticed.

Boobs. He had boobs.

Well he supposed that would make him a she. "SHIVER ME TIMBERS! What be this trickery?!" Waitaminute. He had boobs! The captain reached up to give himself a quick honk. Yup. Real. "Hey lass! Look! I got-" His gaze swiveled over to her. "...Where are yours." Darias asked in complete seriousness, his look of glee replaced with growing irritation. Those. Were. HIS boobs!

Azure waited somewhat nervously outside of the room, waiting for Dyas. He wasn't sure why he was nervous, perhaps it was because Dyas had insisted he wait outside and she had been pretty secretive for the latter part of the day. When he heard the door open, his head turned and his mouth opened as he looked at Dyas in stun. She looked like a goddess herself, but even more beautiful. The male was at a loss of words, being the silent one in their relationship for once. "Wow," he practically squeaked when he found his voice.

He could just stand in the hall gaping at her for forever, but they had a party to get to,mane he was excited to get to parade her around.

That's right, this goddess chose me. Strut strut.

"You look absolutely stunning." He had never seen Dyas do anything like this before, he thought she was beautiful before but he had no idea she could look like this. He just couldn't get over it. "Are you ready my dear?" He asked holding out an arm for her. "Your party awaits."

There was only one way Lannister could know what his arrows did, and that was to test one out. He wandered around the room looking for the right pae to target. He noticed a couple heading to the dance floor, he observed them for a moment trying to decide if they needed a push in the right direction. It didn't seem that they needed too much of a push, but perhaps that was what made them the perfect candidate to find out what his arrows did. It wasn't like he could hurt anything, or do he hoped.

Lannister ducked away, trying to find someplace he could be less obvious and aimed his bow at the female. He had never shot a bow before, but this was a magical bow and arrow so his aim was true. Lannister waited, watching to see what might happen.

Niday has been struck with Lannister's arrow which will will induce the desire to bend to one knee and serenade their love (whoever you decide this is). The effect of this arrow will combine with the effects of any other arrow your pae is struck with.

Nervous, as always, Kelebek peeked her head into the party, before being somewhat shoved in the door by her daughter. She made an undignified noise and gave Pearl a look. She felt so unwieldy wearing this dress, beautiful as it was. She'd seen one of the onboard stylists about one for her and for Pearl, as clearly the need for such things underwater was minimal. She had to admit the color made her skin look vibrant and youthful. While she was there, Pearl had insisted that they also have their hair done. And so half of Kelebek's ponderous tresses were piled ornately on top of her head while the other half hung loose and silkily at her sides. As she contemplated this, she had to smile, as she had never felt beautiful out of water before. To be honest, she rarely felt beautiful at all.

She looked around the room, sort of hoping to see Hjortur, as he had been a pleasant companion, but she felt badly about monopolizing his time. He must have other things he wanted to do on this trip, and she didn't want him to be showing her around for the whole weekend.

Pearl, on the other hand, was eager to attend her first party! She had picked out a dress that was swishy and sparkly and was just the color of the ocean. It also, conveniently, had a big hole in the back for her wings to come through. She was getting better at beating her wings enough to stay aloft. She could feel her back muscles getting stronger. She felt like an athlete! Not to mention she'd sort of figured out how to balance her tail on the floor to take some of the weight off her wings. She felt sleek and very fancy!

She wondered if Autumn would be here. There were a lot of very pretty girls here. That was a lot of competition. She chewed her lip.

His reaction was everything that she had hoped for and more. Her smile grew with her confidence, her cheeks finding a tint of pink as she blushed. If she'd known he'd like her dressing up this much, perhaps she should find more reasons to wear dresses.

The shetani glided over to him to take his arm, her dual colored eyes peering up at him with all the love in her heart. With a bit of a nod, she moved onto her toes to kiss his cheek in appreciation. She was the luckiest girl snagging a guy like him.

Relative to most of the others entering the party, Thulani had a rather plain appearance. He wore a loosely-fitted, long sleeve white-and-blue plaid shirt tucked into a pair of black trousers, held up by a pair of black suspenders and a leather belt with a buckle that almost seemed a bit too large. Almost. The top button was undone, unlike those on the cufflinks of his wrist. Perhaps the nicest part of his outfit were his boots, handmade by his father with some fine embellishments made into the leather. One would have to look closely to see them, though.

Scratching his cheek, he glanced over at the angel beside him, a literal angel in his eyes tonight. Not that he was nearly so romantic as to say that outright. He was honestly a little surprised (and happy) that she'd agreed to come out here with him, all things considered. "Would ya like to get somethin' tah eat?" Smooth.

"I don't know! I don't know but they're gone." The panic was clear in his voice as Andromeda felt his head start to spin. How had this happened? Oh that was a dumb question, it obviously was something that the Gods had done. There was no one else here that could have done it. Andro looked around, hoping for a quick escape. He didn't want to be around Darias like this, and the faster he could get out, the better. At least Darias was excited over the new implants he'd gotten.
