Sophia had arrived back at the cottage just before her master and mistress. She quickly undressed and threw her shoes into the hidden compartment before pulling on her normal rags. Once she was dressed she finished with her hair into the messy bun she always had. She looked like she was still cleaning as they walked through the door.

They were complaining about someone dancing with the prince and how he had picked her. She wondered what he was picking for but she knew that this was her life and she couldn't escape it. However quickly all of their dresses came off as they gave them to her to wash and then do the rest of the laundry.

She sighed as she hummed one of the songs she and the prince danced to. Once she had finished she had gone to bed for the night on her bed roll by the fire to keep her warm.

He went though town all day. In the middle of the day a guard came knocking on the door. The prince was with him. He was hopping she was here. He had been searching for her all day long. He saw her run home not in a carriage. She had to live near-by. She ran off but her knew her hair and eyes. and her voice. He missed hearing her voice.

Sophia was cooking before hearing someone knock on the door. She brushed her hands on her apron as she went to answer the door. However the mistress had gone to answer it before she could. Sophia then turned back for the kitchen to continue on with her work. "How can I help you your highness." the mistress spoke.

She continued to work on the meal for the day as she sighed. She had the dog next to her with a smile. "Long day for you isn't it?" she spoke as she giggled. She knew it had to be for mistress or the girls since there was never anything for her.

The prince walked in. "Do you know someone named Sofia."He spoock a little loader he had seen her walk in. He hopped she could still hear him. A dog walked in a barked at him a little but he petted it's head.

The mistress looked at him strangely, "Surely you were here for one of my girls." she spoke as both of the girls showed up. The two daughters showed up curtsying and smiling him.

As Sophia was humming as she saw the dog move to the prince. She was trying to just concentrate on her work and forget about last night. However the dog barked and grabbed his pants with his mouth trying to get him to follow him to the kitchen.

The prince was lead by the dog into the kitchen. He fell on his face tripping on the dog once he was in. "Ow," He said. His shoe had falle off and one of the guards tried not to laugh.

Sophia had been distracted until she heard someone fall. "I'm so sorry. He can get out of control at times." she apologized as she held out her hand to him with a sweet smile. She hadn't realized it was the man she had danced with at the ball last night.

He looked up at her. "Sophia?" He asked. She looked so much like her. What was she doing here? He took her hand. The guard looked at her and then back to him.

Sophia looked at him hearing him saying her name. "That is my name but how do you know that?" she asked him. She helped him back onto his feet as the mistress came in. "Oh don't mind her she is just a servant here. My daughters are more suitable." the mistress spoke trying to lead them away from the kitchen.

"Stop!" He shouts. He grabs a bag one of the guards brought. He pulled out the mask he was wearing the night before.He showed it to Sofia.

Sophia looked at the mask as she looked at him shocked. "How did you get that?" She asked softly. She looked up at him waiting to see his answer how he got it. He couldn't have been the boy she had been dancing with. She was blushing redder as her thoughts were going through her mind. If he was the prince and the man she was talking to she was about to fall over.

He put on the mask. "I wore it last night." He then smiles. He knew the woman was still behind him. He did not want to turn around. He did not want to see her expression. He though she may live her as a servant.

Sophia once he put on the mask she had recognized him as she gasped. "That was you?" she asked him softly. She could see her mistress was angry finding out she was there and happened to get the prince to like her. "But... I...." she spoke frantically feeling embarrassed she had gotten the prince's attention.

Kishi smiled. "Yes is was me, "He said. Her face looked a little red. The lady hit her shoe on the ground and he turned around. "What are you to her?" He asked her. He would like to know if she was very important. Earlier she had tried to pull him to her daughters so she was not one of them.

Sophia blushed when he confirmed it was him. She never would have expected that she would have the prince wanting her. When his attention turned towards her mistress as she became very quiet. "Get back to work." she told Sophia. She nodded as she went outside to feed the animals. Her mistress looked at him, "That is none of your business." she spoke to him narrowing her eyes.
