Michael quickly jumped up when he heard Astrid crying. He ran over to her. "What's wrong Astrd?" He asked trying to see what was wrong with her. He then recalled the other two and picked her up. "Don't worry" He said then started running towards the nearest pokemon center.

 

[Strikers Daughter]

Astrid gripped Michael's shirt with her good wing whimpering a bit as she knew Michael would make it all better. Once they were at the pokemon center, people were covering their ears because noibat, when they cry, are very loud and their ears amplify the noise by 10 times or so. Nurse Joy came running as she heard Michael and Astrid coming inside. She took Astrid in right away and said "Would you like to hold her to keep her calm?" as she looked at them once they were about to start treating Astrid's wing once information had been gathered on what happened. Nurse Joy took x-rays of Astrid's wing and said "it's just a sprain. Nothing that can't be fixed with some medicine and a wrap." before she went right to work. Astrid hugged Michael sniffling as nurse Joy wrapped the sprain and said "When you get home, just put some ice on it and make sure she takes these for the pain." Joy said handing Michael a bottle of a liquid pain killer that he was to put in her formula.

Michael sighed a bit in relief when Joy said that Astrid would be okay but she would have to take some medicine. He nodded a little to her then turned to leave with Astrid in his arms. As soon as they got home he laid her down in her crib and went to get ice and make her bottle. When he finished he walked over to the crib and picked her up again and put the bottle near her mouth. "Here you go"

Astrid sniffled as he held her. She didn't want to leave his arms. She started suckling on her bottle gripping his shirt with her good wing. Luckily, she couldn't taste the medicine as she drank her formula. The medicine would make her sleepy once it would start to kick in. She stopped drinking after a few minutes, as she wasn't that hungry to begin with and because she was in pain. She buried her face in Michael's chest, wanting him to stay with her. Poor thing was almost in tears. "Noibat Noi Noi....." (It hurts daddy.....) She said looking up at him wanting the pain to stop.

Michael sighed a little seeing Astrid wasn't too hungry. He held her close. "It's ok, here lets see if this helps" He said then lightly pressed the ice bag to her wing.

Astrid winced as the ice pack was lightly pressed on her wing. She buried her face in Michael's chest as the pain her wing was giving her was really bad. Though the ice did help a bit. She let out a small whimper as she kept her little face buried in Michael's chest, not wanting him to leave her right now.
