From the time Koru was young the only thing she has ever wanted to be was a master of the powerful fire type pokemon of the world. Never one to deter from her goals there are other things that she may find to be her calling as she enters adulthood.
Fire Specialist

Her main goal. A fire master is a trainer that has proven themselves worthy, or expert class trainer, in the use of fire pokemon. To be a master one must show amazing skill, understanding and show amazing power with their pokemon. There are various ways to be considered one but no sure fire way. Gym Leader Is an option for master class trainers or highly skilled trainers. Many type experts take on the responsibility of running a gym, specializing in their chosen type, and then challenging trainers who wish to win official league badges.
Reason: Koru comes from a long line of type specialists and the majority of her father's side deals with fire types which caused her to be exposed to them at younger age more than other types. She also came to admire the accomplishments of her father and others and that is what currently drives her to become a great fire specialist.
Guitarist

Guitarists are trainers that also skilled musicians. In more ways than another they incorporate their performance abilities with their pokemon battling.
Reason: Koru has a background in traditional dance and instruments as her mother is the director of the Ecruteak Theater. Her cousin Staci (later to be revealed) loves to rock out and in time may convince Koru to form a band and play together.
Chef

Chefs are trainers wearing aprons who are hired to cook food as their main working profession.
Reason: Girl likes food. She cooks with her dad at home,though it's mostly barebeque but it could be a beginning to a love of culinary arts.
Kindler
✾
A Kindler is a type of trainer that specialize in Fire-type Pokémon, which are seemingly used to start fires. Often times they will also have a water type on hand to put out said fires.
Reason: Her uncle- her father's oldest brother- Yosaku is a kindler and spending time with him since he lives the closest to their home might get her interested in the field of kindling.
