X⇒ LOCATION : Classroom XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Marco, Iris, Ray, Evelyn and Floros. For whatever reason, Silvano almost relished in the nasty look Marco had shot back at him. The dark haired-boy probably knew that Silvano's passive-agressive words to him were indeed venomous and were truly meant to be condescending. In truth, because of his wealthy background and the fact that his father was a well known politician, Silvano was often guilty of thinking of himself of a much higher class than others and thus more important and deserving than his peers. However, when it came to particular females, he'd been conditioned to regard them respect since he was forced to do that for his sisters and all their friends. However, since Marco didn't appear to wear expensive clothes, have famous familial ties, and failed to show him any dignity or respect during their first class together, it almost immediately placed him on Silvano's short list, which included individual he couldn't deign to be seen with. As far as Silvano was concerned, he hoped to avoid anymore confrontations with the boy, but also wanted to keep some distance from him since Marco seemed like the type that was quick to anger. While he didn't completely despise him, he also didn't see himself making friends with the kid anytime soon, not until Marco apologized up front to him and regarded him with the respect he deserved.
Silvano watched as Iris packed up her things and moved over to the desk beside him. He couldn't help but return a bemused look when she pointed out that if she had known they shared the same class together, she would have gotten him to take her with him on his way there. "Same here." He gave a bit of a sheepish chuckle back to her."I didn't think you'd be interested in history and myths and different regions and such." He admitted. Seeing as she seemed really passionate about her Coordination class, Silvano sort of assumed she would have taken Breeding class in order to learn more about taking care of pokemon. But maybe she was interested in learning something a little more academic.
When Iris told him that she was pretty excited about the class, Silvano nodded. "Yeah, this class seems like it will be interesting." He agreed. "Personally, I look forward to learning more about the different regions I've never been to or didn't see much of. What about you? What do you find most interesting about the class?" He asked before considering her question to him, which regarded their teacher. "Mrs.Floros seems like the kind of person who'd be pretty nice, approachable and understanding. The type of person who'd want to see us do well in her class." He commented candidly, giving Iris his own thoughts on their teacher, agreeing with Iris' own sentiment. "Given the speech she gave during the opening ceremony, I think its safe to assume all of those things."
When Marco stood up and turned to face him, he instantly stole Silvano's full attention. With a hint of mirth in his eyes, Silvano almost hoped the boy would say something he'd regret. However, it seemed Marco had stooped himself mid-sentence for some reason. Like he was about to call him some kind of derogatory name, but had decided against it. What? Did he suddenly think he was the better man? Inwardly, Silvano chuckled to himself at the thought. Maybe the boy suddenly got feet and couldn't go through with his insult. Little did he realize that Marco was looking directly at Iris beside him.
Keeping silent, Silvano soon shifted his attention towards the front of the room, as it seemed like Mrs.Floros was ready to begin class. Removing a thin leatherback notebook from his bag, Silvano flipped it open and began jotting down a few brief notes on the class, while Mrs.Floros spoke, which he would be sure to keep up with each day. He knew there would be some segments of the class that he would care much for, but decided to be fairly open-mined about the class as a whole. When Mrs.Floros called on the class to each individually answer why they had decided to take the class, it seemed the dark haired girl with the glasses and messed up ponytail was the first to answer. Admittedly, the answer she gave was a fairly interesting one. Knowing that one of their classmates grew up around ancient relics actually sounded really interesting and made sense as to why she'd take the class. It also sort of explained why the ghost pokemon she had with her seemed appropriate. If given the chance, Silvano noted that the girl would be interesting to talk to.
Silvano felt somewhat surprised when he noticed Iris tentatively lift her hand and give her answer next. Given her somewhat diffident nature, he didn't expect her to be so willing to speak before the entire class. Maybe it had something to do with how passionate she felt about the classes she took and that she wanted to show it. But soon after Silvano had made that thought, it seemed Iris' words began to falter in strength, as if her confidence was suddenly melting away. As Silvano watched her fidget and get red in front of the whole class, he couldn't help but feel for her a little. To him, he felt her answer was a good one, in that she lived in a region rich with history and folklore which definitely pertained to the class. Even more so, he founded it incredibly interesting that she stated that she had some history in the Johto region, which happened to be the same region he was from. If given the chance, he knew he definitely wanted to ask her about it.
When Iris sat down and the next student began to give their answer next, Silvano shifted in his seat and turned to face Iris, who's gaze was downcast. Extending his hand out, he gently placed it upon her right shoulder and gave her a warm smile, in an attempt to get her to look up at him. "There's no need to feel nervous." He told her in a whispered and yet reassuring voice. "You gave a very interesting answer - in fact, way better than what I've got." He told her somewhat ruefully in an attempt to make her feel better about the answer she gave and her fading confidence. "In fact, I'd like to hear more about your history with Johto." He smiled before taking his hand off her shoulder and correcting his posture in his seat. He didn't want to get them both in trouble for speaking during introductions. Though, he hoped his words and actions had managed to cheer her up some, or at the very least restore some of her confidence.
During that time, he did managed to catch that the boy with the steely bird-type pokemon was interested in searching for mysteries and such, which seemed like an alright goal and reason enough for taking the class. Deciding to put his hand up next, Silvano decided to quickly give a lame answer in the hopes of making Iris feel better about hers. "I don't know jack about Pokemon myths and legends, and thought it wouldn't hurt to learn something. Boring answer - I know. But that's the truth." Silvano hurriedly told the class in a semi-matter-of-factly tone before sitting back down. Shifting his gaze back to Iris, he silently tried to gauge how she was feeling. He also waited for more students to raise their hand and answer Mrs.Floros' question as well. Strangely enough, he noted that Marco didn't raise his hand and seemed to be trying to remain unnoticed by the rest of the class. Maybe he was still embarrassed about being the last one standing up in class again, collecting everyones stares.

Koru gave a bright grin to the boy next to her,”No problem!” she whispered rather loudly again. The boy seemed nice from the little that has happened, and his pokemon looked like an adorable puffball of feathers, she may have to ask what it is when class was over with. Though she didn't rather want to think about it he was a little cute too, wait where did that come from? After she gave him a wave back in response to his she quickly turned her attention when the teacher clapped. Listening to her go on about what the class would consist of she started become a little intrigued by what would happen. She didn't hate history, she liked it but her ambitions of taking part in pokemon battles overlooked her studies a bit more than they should've before she arrived her. At her old school the teacher also wasn't this...flamboyant is correct word? Cheerful maybe? Possibly both but Miss Floros was already good in her book, but she did wonder about that bright pink hair. When asked about why they want to take the class a few people, including the green haired girl, the glasses girl, that Silvano boy and the one next to her spoke. She took the chance to go ahead and speak as to not hold up anything, raising her hand in the hair and waving her hand just a little bit,”I really want to have a better understanding of the past and myths. My hometown in Johto has a lot of 'em but I'm sorry to say...I haven't paid very good attention to them...” she blushed a little embarrassed as admitted her own fault in not knowing something. In school the teacher was so droning she never paid that much attention, it was much more interesting when her dad would tell the stories to her, but he may not have known much about them himself as well people that have known about the past for more years than they have been alive. If only she could take Cyndaquil out right now and cuddle him...

Waiting for her question to be answered she wasn't surprised that the young Evelyn took the chance to speak first. Ramona gave her a thumbs up and complimented,“That's the spirit! I'll do my best to serve your interests!”Thought silly for her to say something like that and on the first day of meeting these students no less she was truthful. She was there to teach them and peak their interest in the subject what ever way she could. She crossed her arms as the next few started to speak. The boy with the Charmander looked like he was holding back what to say, so maybe hearing the others would give him enough confidence to speak. Iris mentioned Johto and sent a smile across her face,“Oh don't be sorry at all! That's quite interesting to hear actually~” she managed to calm herself down as the next few began to speak, one sounded almost mysterious about his intentions, what end was he looking for? On the other hand Antonio was completely blunt and honest with his answer. Honesty is the best way to go, especially when telling a teacher why you're taking their class,"Honesty is the best policiy Mister Silvano, and no answer is truly boring~" she mused. She waited for the next person to speak, maybe then she could start bringing up topics for future classes and the first assignment, oh how she was excited to give the first assignment, almost like trpohy but you had to fill it out and it was graded...The peachy-grey haired-gre peachy peach maybe haired girl named Koru spoke her reasons. It really got her riled up when she thought about people that didn't keep history feeling alive, she would have to really show them the excitement of the past. She brought her hands up and thought,"My another Johto, such a lovely region. Compared to it's neighbor the Kanto region it really looks like the past meets the future!" She looked at her watch rather quick and when the remaining students spoke their reasons she turned halfway to the board and began to write,"Okay well let's get started then! Since today is mainly introductory I won't cover anything too major until next class, but still pay attention." she started to draw the sinnoh region on the board with the chalk while asking,"Now does anyone know what this region is? It's okay if you don't know of course."
Iris looked down as she couldn't face the class. She started to think to herself if she got small enough or quiet enough, they wouldn't call or look at her. She was talking by surprise by the touch on her shoulder. She looked up to see Silvano smiling warmly at her. She hadn't seen that look on his face before. He whispered to her and attempted to comfort and ease her anxiety. Her face get a little pink from the hand on her shoulder and then how nice he was speaking to her. She looked up and gasped when Silvano decided to be very blunt and honest about himself.
Iris started to chuckle, feeling better. Her face was still little pink when the teacher said that she was interested in knowing with Iris knew.
"Thank you..." she whispered to Silvano, smiling. "I needed that."
Now Ramona was showing them a map of a region before asking the class what it was.
X⇒ LOCATION : Classroom XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Marco, Iris, Ray, Evelyn and Floros. Seeing Iris as flustered and embarrassed as she was - it was awful. The way her gaze was downcast at the floor, as if to keep from making eye contact with anyone while she seemed to shrink into her seat, was painful to watch. So out of guileless compassion, Silvano had decided to reach out to the girl, something he was certainly glad he did. He couldn't exactly tell right then if her mood and meek body-language was allay some thanks to his actions, though, when he caught sight of the change in hue in her face, Silvano couldn't help but wonder for a split second if he had managed to only embarrass her more so. But then, something told him that might not have been entirely so.
After giving the most candid answer he could think to give to their instructor's question about their decision on taking her class, Silvano himself was caught a little off guard when Mrs.Floros explained that his honesty wasn't a bad thing and that no answer was truly boring. At this reply, he couldn't help but shake his head in mock disbelief, despite agreeing with her. It was just surprising that she had a positive opinion of an answer he intentionally tried to make as cut and dry as possible. Though, what mattered more to him in that moment was the chuckle he heard Iris give at his answer, which was his true goal.
Giving the green-haired friend a sidelong glance at her whispered words, he felt relieved that she was now holding up a bit better, albeit still somewhat pink in the face for some reason. Perhaps it was thanks to the interest their teacher had shown in her words that made her feel even more humbled. Regardless, Silvano tried to hide the thin smile and slight flush that her whispered 'Thank you' had brought to his own normally pale features. "I'm... happy to have been able to help." He quietly whispered back. Inwardly, he couldn't deny that it felt rewarding that he was able to help her feel more at ease. He also couldn't help but feel as if he could help build her confidence so that she could truly enjoy the things she liked without feeling embarrassed around others.
After introductions were gotten out of the way, Silvano's attention shifted back to the front of the classroom as Mrs.Floros pulled down a map of one of the regions. Narrowing his eyes, Silvano knew he had visited the region at one point while traveling with his father, but didn't care to remember what map belonged to each region he had ever been to. One thing he knew for sure was that it wasn't a map of Johto or Kanto. Ruling those out, Silvano the thought of raising his hand and giving his best guess had crossed his mind, but it had seemed another student had beat him to the question. Much to his surprise, that student was Iris. Had she gotten her confidence back? Silvano couldn't help but feel proud for her. She had even managed to guess the correct region. Maybe she knew a lot more than her diffident nature led onto.

Glancing down at his wrist, Silvano carefully pulled back the left sleeve of his uniform to check the time. Class had just ended and despite today's lesson being focused mainly on introductions, time had managed to just quickly slip by. Jotting down a few quick notes for himself, Silvano soon folded up his notebook before deftly tucking it back into his bag. He then slowly rose from his seat before shifting his attention back to Iris, who was still beside him. "Um... Iris. If you're not busy... would you feel up to hanging out together?"He asked, while trying to mask the slight trepidation he felt. He didn't know why, but he felt somewhat anxious about the possibility of her rejecting his offer. Then again, what was there really to be worried about. It wouldn't be a problem if she had already made plans with one of the other friends she had made. Either way, it wouldn't hurt his pride.

Waiting for a answer to come Ramona snapped her fingers when Iris answered,“Yes that is correct! Thank you Iris!” she proceeded to write Sinnoh underneath the drawing then turned three fourth's way to the class,“THe Sinnoh region is the most mysterious region of of world, hence it's nickname The Region of Mystery,” she couldn't help but twiddle her fingers in the air as if to mimic something spooky, but Cofagrigus does this a lot better. She continued,"Through research as well as the regions own lore Sinnoh is known to have been the first region created. It's a gorgeous region if I do say so myself but there are so many mysteries to be unlocked here." she looked at the clock and realized she was trolling on to the end of class. She touched the side of her face surprised and nervously chuckled at the students,"Oh my seems we're out of time. Well anyway, the Sinnoh region will be discussed more in our next class so don't forget!" she flapped her hands in the air, not really worried, it was the first day so she wasn't completely hoping to teach something awesome...wait hm..."I would like to give you all a small assignment, nothing big don't worry. I want each of you to find something interesting out about this region, Sinnoh. Just one little fun fact if you will that relates to it's history. When we return next time we'll pick one of your topics to discuss! Okay you are all now dismissed!" she clapped her hands,a little louder than before, signaling her class was free to roam wherever they chose.
Iris lit up a little more Ramona said that she was correct. Iris didn't even wanna think of what would had happened if she was wrong. That would had been too embarrassing even for her. Iris sighed in relief as she took notes as the teacher was talking about Sinnoh. Iris bit back a giggle from how Ramona was wiggling her fingers to be spooky when she said that the region was called 'The Region of Mystery'. She didn't know about the mystery part but she knew about the beauty. Her mother did a show there in one of the cities... She couldn't remember which one but it had a big church in it. Iris was writing notes until the teacher announced that it was time to end class. Iris was closing her notebook when Ramona announced a homework assignment. It wasn't something hard -which was nice- . Just find out something interesting about the region. Again, something wasn't hard to do at all. She could had to the library if she needed to.
Once her bag was filled, her attention went to Silvano. She smiled at him, remember how he was so helpful to her when he didn't have to be. It was really nice of him. Iris wasn't seeing why Maria didn't want to spend so much time with him. Aside from his tic with pokemon -something surely that will become a love once he got to know his Zubat she believed- She became surprised when Silvano asked her to hang out with him.
"You wanna hang out with me?!" she said, maybe a little louder than she expected to say it but it wasn't a yell. Iris looked a little dumbstruck before she nodded her head. "Yes. Of course." She smiled sheepishly as she rubbed her arm. "Sorry I wasn't expecting that." She looked at him with a flustered smile. "Do you wanna hang out in the town or stay here on campus... Oh! If we're going to town... you think we should change clothes...?"
X⇒ LOCATION : Classroom XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Marco, Iris, Ray, Evelyn and Floros. Sitting at his desk, Silvano watched as Mrs.Floros wrote the name of the region, Iris had correctly guessed, beneath the map. It was interesting that Sinnoh was the most mysterious region in the world, something Silvano would have never of guessed about the large region. When their instructor had pointed out that it was nicknamed 'The Region of Mystery', and had waggled her finger the way she had, it seemed to further drive home that erie point. Admittedly, Silvano had no idea that it was also speculated to have been the first region created.
As Silvano listened to each tidbit of information Mrs.Floros told the class about the region, he deftly wrote each point down in his notebook. Unfortunately, time seemed to of quickly slipped by, and before he knew it, Mrs.Folors had announced the end of class. He supposed there would be a lot more to learn about the Sinnoh region during the next class. Though before any student was able to leave the room, Mrs.Floros had given her class their first assignment. Jotting down another quick note for himself, Silvano guessed he'd head to the library to research one fact about the region that was discussed during class. It seemed like a fairly simple assignment, which was good.
After raising from his seat and carefully packing up his stuff, Silvano soon looked back at his friend Iris, almost as if he had felt her gaze. The smile she wore looked genuine, and it was perhaps just one of the reasons that spurred him to ask if she was willing to hang out for the remainder of the day. After asking, Silvano was glad that her answer had turned out to be a 'yes'. Although, he couldn't help but wonder why Iris seemed to be a little incredulous about his offer at first. In a way, it was almost as if she couldn't believe he was asking her. "You seem like an interesting person, Iris. I don't see why we should hang out." He told her in an attempt to help reassure her that he wasn't pulling her leg. "It's alright." He then assured her, after she had apologized for her tone of voice. He guessed that Iris must not have been expecting him to ask if she wanted to hang out with him, and thus probably why she seemed rather taken aback at first.
When Iris had suggested either staying around the campus or taking off to see the city, Silvano paused a moment to think about his answer. Honestly, heading to the city sounded more interesting to him than hanging around the campus. "I wouldn't mind heading back to Amphirite City. I really didn't get a chance to see it." He explained, finding that Iris also seemed to be leaning more towards that idea as well, before bringing up the subject of changing clothes. Truthfully, that hadn't occurred to him until now. "That doesn't sound like a bad idea. We can head back to our dorms and get changed before heading out. We can meet at the Campus Station and head out to the city together from there." With that said, Silvano offered Iris another thin smile. He was ready to take off from the classroom whenever Iris was and would next make his way back to his Dormroom.

Marco listened as the students in class answered Ms. Floros' questions. She was a very pretty lady and everyone seemed to almost immediately like her personality. Looking around he noticed that everyone was enthusiastic about answering her. Even Iris had voiced her opinions which was making him feel a little inadequate. He wanted to say something and even had the urge to raise his hand from time to time, but he couldn't quite muster the courage. In the end he just gave up and decided to focus on writing notes in his notebook. He wasn't the best note-taker in class especially since he would end up drawing doodles instead of actually taking notes, but this time he made sure to write the things Ms. Floros was saying first. Then he drew some doodles which involved his Charmander along with the other pokemon that he had met since his arrival at the academy.
Ms. Floros asked a question and Iris once again spoke to give an answer. Marco knew the answer as well, but this was because he lived in that region. It would be shameful if he didn't knew at least knew that much; Iris was from the Kalos region, but she knew the answer. He wasn't sure how to feel about Iris, obviously she disliked him, but truth was that he just didn't know how to approach her. In fact, he didn't know how to feel or approach any of the girls he met today; he had only met girls and the one guy he kind of met was a total jerk who he didn't care much about. Marco looked over his shoulder seeing Iris speaking with said jerk and was her face red? He faced forward again feeling grumpy all of the sudden.
Class was over, but not before receiving their first assignment. The task was very simple for him especially since he came from Celestic Town which was the one place in the Sinnoh region that had more myths and stories about pokemon than anywhere else. He wasn't an expert, he couldn't even call himself a novice, but he did know one or two things about the legends in Sinnoh. Perhaps it would be more interesting if he searched for a myth or story that he hadn't heard about. The one place that would hold such information would be the library. His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of shocked Iris. Curiosity struck him and looked behind him hearing their conversation. Iris was going to hang out with that Silvano guy? Where they going to be alone? Marco frowned, why would Iris associate himself with a guy like him? Marco grabbed his items and stuffed them in his bag.
Charmander noticed his friend's discomfort and then glanced at Iris almost immediately understanding the reason even if Marco didn't. The fire lizard sighed and followed after his black-haired friend once he was finished packing. Marco stood up, probably a bit more abruptly than he intended, while Iris was out making friends he was going to the library. The thought somewhat dejected him probably because they both started their journey the same way, but their paths were completely different now.
Iris chuckled as Silvano said that she was an interesting person to hang out with. She only heard that from her friends and family but she usually thought that it was a standard thing to say to someone that was a relative. "I think the city will be a good idea. I didn't see much of it aside from the square and the cafe. They have a lovely...."
Iris turned her head when she heard someone getting up from their chair. She noticed that it was the boy from before. Marco. They shared a class together? She didn't see him when he was looking at the two but he wasn't noticing that she was looking at him. Bebe looked from Iris' hair. It seemed she was waiting for Iris to approached Marco. In fact when he walked away from them and out of the door, Bebe was tapping Iris' head. The pokemon was wondering why they weren't going after him. The Flabebe could see the distraught face. Iris merely took it as him not wanting to be near her since he probably realized she was in the same class with him before she did.
"fountain..." she trailed off for a moment she fixed her face. If he didn't like her then...that was just fine. She was making friends... at least she think she is. Hanging out with someone. Eating lunch with other people and talking to your roommate... that sounded like it doesn't it?
"The Campus Station?" Iris repeated as he explained that they would change clothes and meet at a location to go the city. Iris looked at the smile Slivano was giving her and matched with one of her own as she grabbed her bag and took his hand. "Okay then. Let's get going." Iris chirped as Bebe sighed from her position

Koru was almost completely stumped when she first looked at the drawing. She hasn't really been anywhere and like she had thought of before, paying attention to her old school lessons were tougher than now. Students calling out Sinnoh made it click in her mind. Sinnoh was pretty far from where she lived, but her favorite cousin lived there, maybe if they learn about it now she could impress her with her new found knowledge about it. Miss Floros's excitement was fun to see, Koru was even beginning to get excited about it and she had no idea what she was even talking about. She felt a little stinge of disappointment when class was over, but at least she would get to come in again to continue from this cliffhanger. She stretched herself over the top of her desk and sighed, relaxed that the day was teachnically over, all the excitement made it go by so fast. She started to think about what to do for this assignment and she remembered Hayato and the others wanted to study in the library together, where was the library again? Suddenly Skylar popped into her head and the moment that occurred between them earlier. She face planted wondering why she remembered that. She was still feeling awful for making her feel the way she did. Maybe if she went back to the dorm, wait would she even be there,"uargh!” she began to rustle her hair and squirm as she became agitated about what to do now, maybe she should just lay in the grass and let the sky take her mind away...She rose up sighing again, and remembered the boy next to her...was still sitting there...She jerked up and waved her hands around,"Oh wow I'm so sorry! I...hope you didnt see any of that um...” she smacked her hand over her face, not believing her own babbling. She removed it, a red mark over her nose from the smack, and gave a weak smile,"Sorry sometimes I'll start to think til the gears in my in my mind pop out,” she held out her hand to him and introduced herself,"I'm Koru Frene. Evelyn smiled as Professor Floros gave her a thumbs up. She liked her history teacher she just hoped she could do a good enough job in the class. She had the passion and the work ethic but was still a little unsure about how easy the class would be. Then again it certainly would go smoother then hiking it up a mountain or running laps around a track. Turning her attention to Iris as she spoke, Evelyn could certainly understand that not everyone had a love for history. That didn’t mean they couldn’t have some kind of an interest that made them pick the class out compared to the others offered in the afternoon.
Hearing the boy Ray who was in her morning class, Evelyn wondered about him. He seemed like a nice kid that she’d like to socialize with if given the chance. Only problem was she wasn’t sure how to strike up conversation. Maybe later on she’d give it a go. For now though she turned her attention to Silvano who gave your typical guy answer. Once Koru spoke of her reason class continued to the topic of Sinnoh. How did she know that? Well she lived there of course. However, Evelyn didn’t want to be the first again to answer. She didn’t need to be that enthusiastic about the class.
When Iris spoke up with the right answer Evelyn smiled slightly. As she listened to the lesson, she wrote down everything Professor Floros said. Making a note that she they’d be discussing Sinnoh more next class, she didn’t think she needed to worry about it all that much. After all she was from the region, if anyone knew anything about it she would, or so she hoped. Writing down that their assignment was to find something interesting about the region she sighed in relief. That wasn’t a big deal, in fact that was easy. “Yamask, it’s time to go to the library.” She told her Pokémon as he floated out from under her desk. Packing up her stuff, Evelyn figured she better head to the library like she planned. After all she didn’t have time to waste. She’d try talking to Ray some other time. Perhaps during dinner if she saw him…

Ray had remained silent for the rest of the class period. He said what he needed to say, and he just didn't have the energy to really DO much else. Being depressed and all can do that to you after all. His eyes shifted over to Ruflet, how was now passed out on the desk next to his. Ray sighed, but allowed the small pokemon to sleep. This wasn't unusual for Rey, so why not let him sleep? He was in class anyways, so this was for the better. Besides he didn't want a bored Rey on his case while he was trying to learn, that would have been bad. He he rested his head on his own desk and idly listened to what else everyone else had to say. It didn't take much effort to noticed that two of his classmates seemed to be having some sort of feud. There were sparks practically flying in the air between those two! Not that Ray cared much, he didn't really find that interesting. However, it would be good to know if he was ever stuck with the two of them. At least that way he could try to diffuse any arguments should they be put into a group together. When the teacher began to speak again, he moved his attention back to her. When she assigned homework, Ray frowned. He'd have to go to the library later when he had the chance, then again couldn't he just use the internet to look it up? He thought about it, and decided he'd just wing it and hope for the best. Besides he lived in Sinnoh so he already knew more about it than most people. He also liked in Snowpoint City, one of the coldest places in Sinnoh.
Regarding the assignment, he could probably talk about the Snowpoint temple. It was an interesting topic to talk about, and only a select few were actually allowed inside. His parents had talked about it all the time, and told them the story of how a great and powerful force lurked beneath the temple. It always a great story to listen to, and he'd probably mention that when the time came. That's when she then stated that class had ended and that they were dismissed. With that Ray gathered up his things, and placed them in his bag rather sluggishly. However, the girl next to him made him jump with surprise. She seemed to be dwelling on something, and looked a bit agitated. When she jerked up and waved her hands around, Ray almost fell over. Well not actually, he did fall down. With a loud thump Ray groaned and rubbed his lower back a bit. He wasn't hurt or anything, it just stung a little. Rey opened his eyes, and turned to see that his partner had fallen down. The small bird pokemon chuckled in amusement, earning him a small glare.
Ray then sighed, and blinked as the girl apologized, stuttering a bit. Ray's eyes softened a bit, she really did resemble his sister just now. His heart ached, it hurt to see the resemblance between the two. However, part of him was relieved. It was nice to have someone around who reminded him of his sister. He wasn't sure how he felt at the moment, sad, hurt, happy, relieved. To be honest he felt all of those, maybe even a bit melancholy. Ray shook his head "no... no it's fine, I don't mind really" he said softly. One could tell Ray wasn't as lively as a normal boy is age should be. Rather he looked weakened, like he wasn't really acting like his true self. With good reason of course, Ray just didn't have it in him to enjoy life with her gone now. Ray didn't know how to cope, and thus went into a bit of depression. He even had small bags under his eyes from the lack of sleep he's been getting.
He snapped out of his train of thought when the girl introduced herself, and asked if she could know his name. He blinked, rubbing the back of his head. Did he really want to get involved with another person? He was already heartbroken and frail, on little push and he'd fall apart completely and crumble. However, this girl reminded him of Rina so much it hurt. How could he not try and get to know this girl? He stood up slowly, before slinging his bag over his shoulder "Koru, uh... I'm Ray Myers" he said softly, his eyes moving towards the floor. Rey jumped up and flew around Koru, humming a bit before handing softly on Ray's head. Ray shifted from side to side, trying to gain his balance, blushing a bit embarrassed "er... this is Rey, my partner" he introduced. He said the words "my partner" rather sadly, in fact this wasn't originally his partner and part of him felt guilty for it. However, he treasured the little guy more than anything else. Rufflet lifted one wing and waved happily "ruf... rufflet flet ruf" the small pokemon greeted.

Gathering her things together Ramona wasn't paying too much mind to the students going-ons anymore, but reaching into her bag she found her camera and quickly she took a shot of them, a wonderful picture of her first class day, what would she name hm... She leaned in trying to think of a snappy name and noticed Iris going along with the Silvano boy, already friendships were blooming before her eyes,“Just wonderful,”she hummed. As the others began to leave she peaked outside the window. Around the afternoon Ramona would usually let her pokemon out for her daily meditation period, but with Cofagrigus guarding her room from the safety of the closet she may have to rethink her plans. She slung her satchel over her should and started to walk out, just as Evelyn was passing. She waved to her with a smile and noticed two more students were still sticking around and talking. While she would love to give them their space she called out to them from the doorway,
“Sorry you two but I've got to close up for the day~” when they heard her and follow her suggestion to leave she would close the door behind them and lock it, placing the key in her sweater pocket and walking away to see if Cofagrigus took possession of any furniture while she was away, hopefully not.

Koru felt a little disheartened that he fell due to her hectic acting. She was ready to help him up before he got himself off the ground. Even when hearing him say it was fine she could finally see it wasn't quite all that fine. He looked tired, not like class was boring tired but more like haven't slept in the past few days kinda tired. There was something calm about him that she liked though, being the first day it could just be that she caught him at the wrong time, something she has always been just amazing at. Waiting for his name made her begin to think she wouldn't hear anything, that he would just leave and they would never talk for the rest of their lives at the academy. His voice saying his name brought a grin to her face,"Cool! It's nice to meet you Ray hm?” The small bird pokemon from before fluttered around her. Even close up he was even fluffier than she had first said. She giggled waved to the little pokemon,"Hi there little guy- oh neat you guys have really close names, like you're brothers...I mean you're not fluffy or a pokemon but close,” she shrugged laughing nervously, not her best delivery. She snapped her fingers and remembered Cyndaquil was still in his pokeball. She reached in her pokect and released him onto the desk. One thing her father always taught was it was rude to not introduce pokemon. Cyndaquil appeared balled up then swung his head up and beamed with a small happy squeak,"Quil!” She leaned in for Cyndaquil to jump onto her shoulder. As he did this she rose up and he nuzzled into the gape of her neck on the other side,"Have a good nap little guy?” he nodded and Koru motioned to Ray,"This is my partner Cyndaquil. He was having a bit of a after lunch nap. Cyndaquil this is Ray and Rey.” Cyndaquil tilted his head hearing the names. He passed his gaze from the boy to the bird and to him if they were okay with Koru then he was too. He raised his nub arm as a salute to them then brought it down to keep hold of Koru's shoulder. Koru internally sighed with relief, usually Cyndaquil didn't take to others when other pokemon were around, but since Rey was possibly even as small as he was he didn't see a threat, now the Garchomp from last class almost gave him a little heart attack. She petted him on the head and turned her focus to Ray and asked,"So do you um have any plans for free time?” She started to nervously laugh again and rustled her hair,"I'm not really sure where my friend would be and since we have an assignment maybe-” She turned attention to Miss Floros. Turning to her made her see she and Ray were now the only ones left in the room. She jerked back and grabbed her bag, Cyndaquil holding on best he could,"So sorry ma'am!” Walking out the door she stopped and waited for Ray and tried asking again,"What I was trying to say earlier, would you like to hang out?”
