I first got into shonen-ai shortly after I first started discovering fanfiction. I found an comedy SSX Tricky fanfic that paired up Moby & JP, and thinking it'd just be good for a laugh I read it, then suddenly I just loved the idea of slash. razz Ever since then I started looking for all different slash fics, and now I'm a fan! razz

The world of fanfiction introduced me to yaoi. I was on the internet at school and was looking for any sites for Duo fom Gundam Wing, when I stumbled on a Heero/Duo lemon fanfic.
My reaction was basicly: eek (hey, I was thrown in at the deep end! xd )
After a while my friend turned to me and-
Friend:What's up? You find a pervy site about Duo?
Me: About Duo and Heero.
Friend: ... So why are you still looking at it?
Me: ... Morbid fasination ninja
I closed the site down, but the moment I got home I was on the internet looking it up again. And thus my love of yaoi was born! mrgreen
(even though I'm now more of a Duo/Wufei fan xp )

Well...What got ME into it was the animes Loveless and Gravitation! I heard about them on Gaia and decided to try it out. After the first eppisode or two I was totally hooked! When I noticed it was Yaoi I didnt like it to much but not long after I didnt care. I realized to be a REAL person you have to realize that it doesnt matter race, religion, or gender love is love. period. And so sense then I have been a fan or Yaoi manga and animes! Yes I do realize they are Shonen-ai!

Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.... Sephiroth and Riku and Vivi....I don't know I'm still obsessed with them!!! Don't ask me why I like Vivi i think its just the fact of his innocence or maybe the proof of his masculinity at the end of the game.

Gravitation is the one who made love yaoi so much. Now, whenever I see two cute guys in some anime Im watching at the moment, I can't help but think "those two would look cute together!" or if I see a cute guy with some girl I think "you little hoar!!! he doesn't want you, he wants *insert random bishonen's name*!!!". I just wish I could convert some of my guy friends into yaoi lovers instead of homophobes(damn bastards...).

Ran across some fluffy shonen-ai in fanfics, decided I liked them, and continued from there. xp
First shonen-ai manga I ever read was Gravitation, latest yaoi I've read was Shinobu Kokoro.
