He held up a finger to stall the other undead from replying just yet, picking up his card and turning it away from the plague doctor to read it. Interesting. He had no idea what it meant, but he would do his best to carry out his strange new role.
Looking back at the one who had addressed him, Rojo added, "I am ready for lies!" He thought he felt eyes on his back, but he didn't turn. Instead he went still and sat up as straight as he could. This was his lying pose.

If there was one thing he liked about Blondie, it was how easily skittish she was. Well he liked it and hated it. Liked because It was fun to watch someone start so easily, on the other hand the sudden starts were annoying for a minion of his. Still she was... well relived was the best word, to see him.
Andrew took his card easily and looked it over keeping a straight face. Quickly he hid it and his head shoot up at attention towards Rojo. It paused for a moment before he rolled his eyes and looked at Ruth who was closing her eyes. Oh right! They were supposed to do that.
Andrew closed his own eyes, in the name of the game he wouldn't peek. But he would mess with his tail, it was weird sitting in darkness, even if he knew light was only a moment away.
Watching the other students filing in Kier tried to make it look as if she was completely inconspicuous while taking mental notes of each of their expressions. There was some hope that she would be able to remember those who looked over confident or even more likely to lie in the game. Not that it was going to do her much good, she hardly knew any of them and if she had to call out names she was going to fail, fail hard. The entire façade of acting nonchalant was soon tossed out the window as Kier sat on the edge of her seat with a large grin was plastered on her face as the professor began handing out cards.
When she got her she quickly looked at it before slamming it down on the table and closing her eyes tight letting her tail twitch excitedly.

Rosy grins as she see Zel slip through the door, then tilts her head as she looks for another demon. With a small smile, she nods to Zel as she chuckles "Yea, its been awhile." she plays with the ring on her finger for a brief moment before she shakes her head "No worries, you being a book boil and all. I figured a class was right where you would want to be." not that she mentioned anything about it actually being a game.
Crossing her legs, she went quiet as Professor Red placed a card on the desk of each student. Very carefully, she lifts her card to read over her assigned role. A small arch of the brow was given before she did nothing more then shrugs.
Okay, so this was her role.
Carefully placing the card back down, she glance to Zel "We'll chat after class." then she simply relaxes as she placed her hands over her eyes, closing them as she covered the rest of her face.
It wasn't until she started playing with the shiny piece of metal on her hand that it finally caught his eye. He opened his mouth to ask about it when the card was placed on his desk. Placing his hand over the top of it, he chuckles a bit.
"Eh, a little break from the books never killed anyone... So who put a ring on it?" He was trying to be casual, but he was dying to know who it was that had decided Rosy needed a ring.
Because as best as he could remember she wasn't much for jewelry, and it was a bit of a stretch to think she'd start blinging it up now.
He of course, peeked at his card with a small nod as he talked, before putting it back down and covering it with his hand as he closed his eyes and leaned his head back a little bit.

Quillan placed the card face-down on his desk after being handed one from Red, and only after he was sure no one was looking did he peek at it. He lifted one side of it off the desk, enough for him to see what his role was, before flattening it with his palm and moving the card to a corner of the desk he was currently occupying. He then glanced around the room, looking at the others. The ink demon had no idea how he was going to accomplish what he was supposed to do, but it sure seemed like it was going to be a lot of fun!
{if you pull apart a skeleton, they can reattach their parts? FEAR is interesting. but, do you wonder what kind of stress would be required to permanently sever that reattaching ability?}
No, he did not wonder, because by then, surely the damn skeleton would be dead. It was like being in a nest of baby spiders whose mouths were still too small to bite. But they would grow and they would terrorize small children, steal their fear. Luckily, the golem's mask hid the snarl that twisted his lips. Still, Horace shifted uncomfortably under the stares of monsters. They were uncanny valley human-esque, normal forms with claws, tails. And right now, his own golem hands were bony in his gloves.
Flipping over his card, he frowned. What did that even mean? This was a card game, something for children. Normally, he would demand what they were looking at, if they liked what they say. But his sassy mouth had no real place here. Instead, he obediently placed a hand over his eyes. Closing his eyes in such a place was less than ideal, but getting called out by a full-fledged monster was less desirable. With his eyes closed, he spoke, shifting restlessly.
"Teacher, what real world application does a game like this serve?"

Horace's question drew a pitying look from Red. "Were you not paying attention?" She asked as she neared him, reaching out to poke the faux plague doctor's beak with one claw. "I had already explained it earlier, however to put it simply: what you learn here and now may very well save your hide later on."
"The world outside of Amityville isn't a pretty place. You can make mistakes here without heavy repercussion. But out there? It's anyone guess, and there are some things you can't take back or redo. Now." She turned away from the student and began to walk among the students. "Everyone's eyes closed? Good."
"Bloodshots, open your eyes. Note your fellow Bloodshots. If you are the only Bloodshot, then note this card. It is one of the unused roles; it is one less enemy for you to worry about. Now, close your eyes."
"Minion, open your eyes. Bloodshots, hold out your thumb so your minion knows who you are. Good; Bloodshots, lower your hands and put your thumbs away. Minion, close your eyes."
"Flamekeepers, open your eyes and look for the other Flamekeeper. Good; now close your eyes."
"Seer, open your eyes. Please choose someone to see their role." Here the teacher paused, adding, "If you are being extra protective of your card, please relinquish your hold on it. Some cards may be moved around, and I may be moving your card only to move it back to spite you. Thank you." The Seer indicated their person; cards were moved back and forth and seemingly shuffled around as the teacher neared. "Here is their role," the teacher announced from the front of the class room. "Seer, please close your eyes." The teacher resumed pacing around the room.
"Thief of Lives, wake up. You may exchange your role with someone else's and view it. You now take on that role, whereas the person you stole from now has your former role." The teacher fell silent as she paused, her talons rapidly clicking across the classroom floor as she moved from one area to the next and back again. "There. Close your eyes."
"Trick or Treater, wake up. Please indicate two players. These two players will have their roles switched." After a moment of silence the teacher quickly moved from one point of the classroom to another and another before moving back. "It is done. Close your eyes."
"Spider Cider Sipper, wake up. You may exchange your card with one of these that I have." The teacher moved to a point in the room and waited, before moving to another pointing and waiting. She then moved away. "You may not look at your new role. Now, close your eyes."
"Insomniac, awaken. Look at your card to see if any misdeeds during the night changed you. Now, close your eyes."
Professor Red moved to the front of the classroom. "Please keep your eyes closed. I understand many of you feel too old for this, but bear with me. We are no longer in a classroom in Amityville Academy. The day is October 21st, in the year of Blistering Rain in a small village known as Monako. This village is tiny and out of the way, nothing more than a small outpost that would have bloomed into a bustling city. That is, if it weren't for the Bloodshots."
"The Bloodshot Mafia began as a vampire coven. It wasn't until one of their members found a way to extract Fear in the form of blood that they turned to crime, ambushing any Reaper, Monster, or Demon with a pulse and draining their Fear. They didn't drain a creature all the way, however. They drained them just enough so that they wouldn't dissipate, forcing them into a comatose state. They developed a technique to continuously siphon off a victim's Fear to keep them in this state, prolonging their status."
"When they drained a victim, they found a way to turn it into a substance that greatly resembled blood. This is how they began their so-called blood smuggling ring and rose to power. While we now have counter spells and counter techniques to combat them, back then at the height of their power? There wasn't anything."
"At this time, all of you are all that remains of Monako Village. You know for a fact that there is at least one Bloodshot in your midst. If you do not act quickly, it is likely by daybreak Monako will be no more."
Professor Red leaned back against the teacher's desk at the front of the room. "Can you discover who your enemy is? Can you outwit everyone and live? Awaken and open your eyes; the accusation phase begins now."
(( Aaaand here we go! Now your characters are strongly encouraged to throw out arguments for or against another character, or in defense of themselves.
- This phase will end in 48 hours. - Everyone needs to make at least one post during this time. - Every character needs to communicate an argument. -- I fully encourage you guys to call out/quote characters who are silent/haven't posted biggrin just don't be rude about it~ - Don't forget that some roles have been switched around, so what you are might no longer be the case...
Finally it just occurred to me that some of you don't know Red; this is what she looks like. c:

Eenie meenie miney moe.... ok he had already planned for this target. Andrew pointed directly at the plague Doctor. "You looked suspicious. Did you not like your card? I think you are afraid to get caught."
Andrew was of course referring to the card, not the hunter. Andrew had no clue about the hunter. Actually, in all probability, he got the mini pet scooper, and that was why he was making the face, but they had to start somewhere right? If he seemed to eager to die he would pick someone else. maybe Rojo. Just because he annoyed him.

"Yeah!" Quillan shouted from across the room, jumping out of his seat to join the conversation between the fire demon and plague doctor. Things were getting interesting and he didn't want to be left out, despite the fact that he hadn't the slightest clue what he was doing. "It's you isn't it? he said.
Ruth did her best to remember the series of positions their professor had called out and came to only one conclusion: Villagers outnumbered Bloodshots 3 to 1 under the notion that Red hadn't mentioned any positions that weren't used. Eight positions, Eight students, unused positions going unmentioned, oh the chances of being on the losing side was high if you were a villager.
Not that the reaper voiced her concern. Instead, she tugged on Andrew's sleeve and shook her head, as if to disagree with his accusation. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, tugging at her lobe to suggest she'd heard things. And instead pointed to Rosy, summoning her steel pipe to brandish it at her as worried that her mere finger wouldn't get the message through.

Had Rojo known he irritated Andrew, he probably would have voted to off him out of spite, but he didn't, so he turned his attention to the inky boil who had joined in accusing his new friend.
"You are pointing fingers quickly!" he exclaimed, pointing his finger. "I think it is you instead!"

He flinched when the dragony professor flicked his nose... beak.... mask thing. A hand reached up to rub it before he realized how futile (and immensely silly) rubbing a mask would be. The without repurcussion part of Red's speech was interesting. Horace couldn't decide if it was simply an allusion to the school-like nature of this place or if it was something more. There was just not enough clear information for him to classify it as one thing or the other, so he filed it away in his brain. Everything he heard was filed away, to be carefully pulled out and inspected later. It was like collecting puzzle pieces - he could not begin to guess at what picture a pupzzle might form from each individual cardboard square.
It was funny - how this was an exact mirror of a human party game. Unnerving. Even more unnerving was that two monsters had already pointed him out as a mafia member. A sense of righteous indignation flooded through him, mixing with an odd dread. Had they discovered him, somehow seen through the false flesh of the golem? {it is only a children's game,} the Doctor hissed in his mind. {these are not really children, Doctor.} Horace crossed his arms and leaned back in the chair. When he spoke, his voice was a hoarse muffle.
"My card is just that, a card, nothing more, nothing less. If I looked displeased, please be assured it was only my doctor's mask." Horace was mimicking Jannisari and, judging from her pleased hiss, doing a bang-up job of it. The hunter figured it was best to follow her lead. she had been a Plague Doctor before she was a weapon or a heavy earring. He pointed his finger to Quillan. If he needed to play this game to fit in, he would."I think it it you. Only someone looking to hide something would follow along so, so easily." With that, he crossed his arms and leaned back. Under this desk, his leg bounced up and down. He never thought he'd find himself in concert with a skeleton. Weird. The silent girl was interesting, human-looking. Horace tried to surreptiously stare at both her and Rojo.

Doctor's mask? that sounded odd to Andrew's ears and he hadn't draw the startled response he had hoped for. The .... what was that again? It looked undead. Fear him he was on fire. Andrew felt and itch of irritation that his wild accusation didn't even draw the proper oh s**t you are on fire response it should have. Though he did have a point about the other accusing demon. On one hand Andrew was quiet amused that he could convince another demon to so easily follow his lead, he may have found himself another minion. He might corner and keep that one later.
On the other he had hopped onto Andrew's pre-decided accusation.
A tug called his attention to Ruth. Maybe she was the the enemy. But the way she looked at the other reaper, and brandished her pipe.
"Blondie might be a seer. She is saying it's that girl." Andrew pointed at Rosy and gave her a hard stare, as if calculating. "We could have more than one...."
Quillan was rather startled to be accused of being the mafia, although he really shouldn't have been - after all, anyone in this room could be any of the jobs. "It's not me!" he insisted. He then turned and faced the ghoul who had been pointed out by the reaper with the pipe and the fire demon. He pointed a digit at her and squinted at her. He then did a 180 and pointed at Kier, saying "It could be you!" and then pointed at Aezeloth. "Or you! IT COULD BE ALL OF YOU." he was practically hysterically screaming by the end of all the accusations.
