[PRP] Shut up and dance with me (Rhapsody x Flick)

Flick had already begun ascending higher and higher into the clouds. Her mind was completely engulfed with matching the movements of the flower and incorporating them perfectly into nature. It had to fit with everything, but it had to focus on the flower. That is how they were going to grow!!

Her wings closed as she turned her head upward and begun to arch her back. The rest of her frame followed her nose perfectly. The clouds parted around her as she dove downward back toward the earth, at an alarming speed. This was too quick for the flower...

Her nose leveled out with the land before her wings spread open. They needed to be at a slower pace, graceful pace.

With a deep breath she begun to work on looking the same way, only this time slower and without plummeting. The tip of her tail swayed about gracefully while she flew in several slow twists and turns. Her mind continued to work on dancing as a flower would in the sky.

In a flash Wind Waker was at Flick's side, with a flap of his wings he turned himself as she angled herself so perfectly. Eyes watched as she curved and did a back words loop in the sky.

Amazing, she always did move so gracefully and even more so in flight.

Following suit, Rhapsody turned his body and twisted. A wing tucked as he angled his body to the side, making a quarter turn he looped after her with a bat of his birdlike wings.

Clouds rushed passed him, and in natural instinct and guidance, the soft wings opened up quickly to level himself out. Just as Flick did. Behind her, his light green gaze took in her expression of flower and beauty. Hows he twisted and turned just like a flower in the breeze.

Awestruck. Wind Waker Blinked, Right...He was suppose to be dancing too.

Flick continued to loop and twist in the sky while she thought of the movements of the flower. On the second loop she noticed that her dance partner was copying her moves. Was that how flowers moved? She had seem some move at their own pace to the same wind. No no, they couldn't be doing the same thing. It was a learning process.

"HEY!" She called to Wind Waker. "Try your own moves!! You are doing well, but I think you could do better. Think of your strings and your music!!! I THINK YOU CAN DO IT! COMMON'! I WANT TO SEE YOU DANCE TOO! YOUR COLORS ARE LIKE THE SUN AND MOON IN HARMONY!!"

Her words were more a blurt of what was on her mind without the filter of logic. She had noted the colors of his fur while he flew and the patterns they took when he moved one way or the other. The moon and sun were the first to come to mind. Or a river... the moon just seemed to fit in rhythm with the same idea of a bright ball.

Wind Waker's ears flicked and shifted as Flick called out to him. Eyes widened against the wind, and maw slacked just a little as she called out to him. Blinking, felt his paws untucked slightly.

The Tahtil suddenly felt as if he was a student to her insperation and expression...

She spoke as if she was like she was the wind. Careless, blunt and wild. Yet, A reassuring and a encouraging lift to a set of wings.

Then to have her compliment his colors was like a smack of fress air to the maw. One that cause him to tumble, closing his eyes Wind Waker tucked a single wing to his side and with a turn of his body he spiral himself to be under Flick's shadow.

Opening his eyes he looked up to the refreshing pink breeze that glided above him, and he soared momentarily on his back.

If she could cause his heart to sing and give him insperation to create a new instrument. Surely she could cause his paws and wings to dance?

Well, untill now...Rhapsody had always managed to slip away without showing his own dance.

How did she make him feel?

Well, that was a musical all by it's self!

She made him fell like he was free falling.

And with such a thought, Rhaposy's wings closed and with a lean of back of his head. His eyes closed, his suddenly body plummeted in a free fall.

That was just from a moment caught in her gaze, but when she looked at him and her eyes widened with excitement for her next distraction, it was like he caught by the reality that she might be looking just right through him.

In a instant, Rhapsody's wings shot open and it caught him from his fall.

But then, when Flick would always look back in her delight and insist that he follow her in her distraction she would cause his heart to tumble in wonderful, hopeful confusion.

In a second instant, his wing threw its self under him and Rhaposdy set himself in a spirl in the air. Tumbling quickly like a bullet he gained speed.

Leveling own, paws pulled themselves free and clawed at the air as wings flapped him higher.

Breathless, he felt as if he was fighting for air....

Because in all the free falling, tumbling and swooping. Flick made him feel like he was drowning, and he was trying so despertly to claw at the surface for air....

It was the desperation that made him feel like he was going to die for the fear that she would never understand in time just how he felt for her.

Flick only watched long enough to see Rhapsody begin to move. She watched his wings until he moved under her own shadow and begun his emotional display of a dance. She nearly spoke approval for his new moves, however something else caught her attention and pulled the words from her mouth.

A loose leaf twisting in the wind caught her attention and she too resumed her dance.

This time she allowed her head to move forward than back. Her entire frame followed her rhythmic bobbing, just like the leaf she had witnessed seconds ago. Her ears were aware of where Wind Waker was so they wouldn't collide, but her eyes were fixed on the horizon and occasionally closed to feel the full experience of the flight.

As Rhapsody reached the apex of his dance, his wings spread out wide and with a twist of his body he turned himself about. His chest heaved, his eyes opened-he felt ALIVE-he felt amazing-he was sure the sight of his dance would have gained praise. Ears perked happily, as eyes eagerly opened. Sweet green eyes searched for his deserved applause, they serched for Flick, his inspiration.

Why! She..she wasn't even watching....

What...what was she even doing?

Turning his head, Sharp eyes caught the glint of a leaf that she followed freely after.


A burst of laugher left Rhapsody, how he easily could have been hurt but such disregard but he could only laugh...why?

Because: Oh, how he never would have dreamt of the day he would envy a leaf...

Shaking his head, Rhapsody took in a breath and let a smile rest on his maw. It was her nature and how he would never wish to change her. Though perhaps he should have stayed with playing his own music.

With a angle of his wings, Wind Waker started his descend back to his tree top.

Flick continued to twirl about in the sky, even after she heard the sound of Rhapsody depart from the skies. There wasn't much to the dance, just a little more. One more flip.

Her wings closed while she arched on her last back-flip. Her frame spiraled back down toward the ground and their tree, opening occasionally to give motion to her free-fall.

At the last moment she spread her wings wide and took off back toward the sky in a sharp angle back up to the clouds. And than back around toward the tree, this time in a slower spiral.

"Oh! Wind Waker, that was wonderful wasn't it?! I could feel the inspiration!" She called as she gracefully glided downward.

Paws touched down in the landing of the tree, just as he did Rhapsody turned his head to the sound of his name. The sweet melodious call of his own insperation.

A smile was easily replaced on the Tahtil's maw at the sight of Flick. A happy sigh slipped past his lips. Elagent tail twisted and tip crooked, as he contuined to place his eyes on his songbird.

"Well, you are rather inspiring, Lavute..." Wind Waker smiled looking up to Flick as she glided downward.

Watching her, Rhapsody was sure she captured the movements of the leaf perfectly.

"And such a leaf would be envious if it could see your dance for it." He smiled. She said she could feel the insperation. Well, that would explain the unneed to watch him perform such a dance, right?

Well maybe not, but perhaps...either way, such word put ease to his thoughts. Just her being near, eased his soul.

Gebtle Thoughts pulled the newly crafted instrument, causing the craft of art to float through sky, guided towards him by unseen paws.

Flick released a light-hearted laugh to Wind Waker's words. The metal in entwined in her decorative ribbons chimed as her body jarred to the gentle tone.

"No no no, the world around us is an inspiration. That flower-" She laughed, than suddenly fell silent at the reminder of the flower they had been dancing for.

Without another word she begun to trot toward the single flower they had been observing earlier. Nothing. It was still twirling about by itself in the gentle breeze.

"Oh well... " She sighed than looked up to another leaf sailing on the winds. The smile sprung back to her maw while she watched it and took careful note of its grace.

Her tail flicked a few times while her ears bounced to the rhythm of the rustling leaves behind her. Such a wonderful day for inspiration!

Wind Waker's ear swivled around as Flick spoke of her contest to his words. The chuckle in her voice, the laughter and jingle in the air. It brought all together such a melodious sound. As eyes fell on the dancing dove of the air, a content smile rested on Rhapsody's maw.

The freshly carved instrument, floated to rest at his side. Ears perked once more as eyes watched as Lavute, as she troted over to see the flower. A twing of worry poked at his heart, that he might have disappointed her as she looked upon the flower to see that more hadn't bloomed. Just as he said that vary one had...such an action revealed to Rhaposdy she took the statement to more then poetry...

He felt guilty, to be a helper in case to that beauiful smile leaving her maw.

"La..." Rhapsody started, with a heavy swallow. His paw shifted as if to pull for her attention. Perhaps it would be better if he explained his use of words to her...

Before the rest of the name could leave his maw, a smile reappeared on Flick's maw.

Nevermind.

A sigh of relief left Wind Waker, as he took back an out stretched paw. His yellow tail shifted and twisted it's self around his body as his hinches lowered himself to a sit. His real eyes found themselves content just watching the dear Flick. It was inspiring how much she found the world it's self to be so.

Feather Step watched the flower a moment more before a pleasant sound tickled the inside of her ear. Both ears twitched before swiveling back. Within moments her whole frame whirled around and in mid twist, she quickly trotted back to Wind Waker.

"That noise!!" She exclaimed with a gasp.

"Laaa~" Flick sung briefly, her voice picked up like a light breeze.

"No... oh, could you make that noise again? It was as if your voice was your instrument! It was such a beautiful sound. Like the trees dancing in the wind."

Her tail arched upward in a "c" while her chest puffed, as if the air was held in her lungs for fear they would simply burst free from excitement. The smile on her maw widened from ear to ear. Her eyes brightened.

"Maybe I could dance to that instrument?"

Wind Waker's ears quickly went back as Feather Step Exclaimed quite excitedly. Teal eyes Quickly darted left to right, as Wind Waker quickly looked about to try and find the source of her delight.

Hearing the returned 'La', Rhapsody's ears quickly perked up to the delightful sound. Well, that certaintly was a wonderful sound she made. Tilting his own head, Wind Waker curiously picked out the tone, as she trotted back to him. Yes, Music could be made with one's voice.

"You mean, 'Sing'?" Rhapsody smiled, his tail twisted and flicked behind him. Riddle Mouth had told him about such a thing, and he had yet to fully master such a concept, but he had been working on it.

Needless to say, the request caused Wind Waker's smile to only grow even more. she was quiet possibly the only one that could so easily cause a smile to rest so grandly on his maw, as it did then.

"If you wish, Lavute. Though I will warn you, I haven't practiced too much with it." Wind Waker was fair to warn, his intrepid and sought after beloved.

Flick threw her head back and laughed to the claim that he had not practiced with the singing. Her feathers ruffled delightfully.

"Now is a good time to start that. I love the sound you started with, that was wonderful." She chimed pleasantly.

Her wings stretched than closed while she thought of how to dance to the tune. It would be so much more easier with more noises to the 'song' than just La. The way he said it made it deserve a slow motion.. but if it were said louder, fast.

Oh, hopefully he would start soon. Flick was having trouble standing still for so long. She wanted to move about! She begun to shift her paws and flex her toes while she waited. It felt as if she were going to burst soon...

Rhapsody's ears one more quickly flicked back as something he did caused Feather Step, to throw her head back in laughter. He smiled once more as if he had missed out on some big joke. Eyes shifted slightly, and then a breath released from him. She must have found it funny, because he never seemed out of practice, right?

But, what to sing, to be asked so suddenly...hm. There was this, one song...

Taking in a slow breath, Flick Caused Rhapsody to smile more as she spoke so pleasantly. Well, if she liked that then...

"~There is this fair breeze..." Wind Waker started softly, his hunches slowly lowered himself to a sit. His tail gently and elegantly slipped around his paws. It wasn't an 'upbeat' sound, but rather quiet and soft. It melted and well, with his smooth velvet like voice.

"~ It's one I may take with me, when there is no wind to carry me." The tone was reassuring, as the song told a quiet and almost somber story. His tail tip shifted and his eyes closed. His head raised just a little and his voice rose just as gently

"~It's easily sail's it under my wings, cast by a simple look even if it's just see right through me."

"~Because, she is my fair breeze, untamed wild and free. There is no other way I would have her be."Taking in a slow breath, Wind Waker paused a little after the verse, as if to let the words of the song sink in, before he continued to sing the second. A peaceful smile took his lips, as if his own words caused his own heart to race.

"~There is this spring in my step. It's one I may take with me, when my paws are too tired to carry me.." Slowly Rhapsody let his eyes pull open to see what Flick was doing or how she might be reacting to 'singing'. His tail tip shifted just a little bit.

"~It's easily sent from my heart, spoken by a simple whisper even if it's just to her keep her own beat. " A smile turned one more on his maw, Flick did seem to talk to herself a little bit.

"~Because, she is my Feather Step, perfectly time and well meant..."

For the first time in her life it seemed, Flick's paws remained still. Her ears stretched forward and greedily grabbed at the sound. Even her eyes closed so her ears could focus more on the tune.

As Rhapsody sung his song she could feel the rhythm spreading to her tail. It wasn't long before the gentle tune reached her limbs and toes. The beauty of this song was like that flower, or the gentle shifting of the trees in the light breeze.

With a slow breath she unfolded her wings and begun to dance a slow and graceful dance. Her paws lifted from the ground than gently returned to the grass before she turned around in a small circle.

Her head begun to sway while she attempted to make her ribbons partake in this special event.

However, before even the song was finished something else had taken the attention of her ears. A loud noise, or what seemed to be loud for her in her odd moment of concentration, pulled her attention away just long enough to miss the last line of the song. Her head turned away toward what might have been a bird in the trees behind them while her entire dance surprisingly continued from the last remembered tune.

When she returned her attention to Rhapsody she retained her pleasant smile.

"Oh, yes, it was slow, but it was just as beautiful as the flower we saw! WInd Waker, you have a delightful talent." She praised gleefully, even as she continued her dance to no music.
