About the B'alam ♦♦♦

xxxWhat's his name? Anil Ronen
xxxxxxMeaning? Wind Song
xxxWhat's his Gypsy Name? Song Messenger
xxxxxxWhy this name? It represents how he tells stories, and teaches lesson using music as his voice.
xxxPersonality ||
Anil wanders the skies searching for all things new. He finds that every day is a new adventure, a new chance. He tries to use his wings as much as possible, he feels as if he is thanking the grand weaver when he does. He is proving to the grand weaver that he was given the wings for a reason. Anil holds the lessons the Magus have taught him highly. He uses them as rules to live by. If he by any chance would fail to follow them he would feel as if he betrayed himself and the wind tribe. He likes using his music to teach others what he knows and what he has learned. He feels that they will be able to learn, and evolve after hearing the mistakes, and compliments of others.
xxxHas he ever been broken-hearted? Anil has yet to find a love. He still sees no real reason in love. He feels as though he will know when he finds his soul-mate.
xxxWhat is his mindset within the Tribe? He follows traditional and tries to influence others to do the same.
xxxWhat kind of plots would you like for him?
I would like to see him finding ways to create music and spending time sharing it. He would find ways to show others how much their traditional helps them through song, and maybe dance.
xxxWhat will he look for in a soul-mate?
He isn’t looking for anything in particular. He feels that when his soul-mate comes along he will just know. He will not be able to deny his love for them because they will belong together.
xxxWhere does he find the inspiration for his compositions?
He finds his inspiration through the sun, the air, everything that is around him. He watches others and gains inspiration from them. He feels the music flow through him as he does things. He experiences extraordinary events and it just comes to him.
xxxHow will he view the surface-dwellers? He looks at them knowing of their strength but still can’t help to be fascinated. He looks at their culture and how they act and can’t help but become somewhat inspired.

Tell his story ♦♦♦
|[ Prompt ]|
He has just woken up, he is as ignorant as a newborn infant. He has instincts, thoughts, dreams, and curiosities. He is a complete being, a sharp mind in the body of an adult. At first, he is only aware of the land that he has woken on. The wind rolls over him, whispering through the grass and the rocks and sending arcs of mist up from the nearby stream. He is unaware of the surface, of wingless B'alam, of anything outside of his own being.

Nearby, another being moves, though these movements are not those of a newly-woven B'alam. They are confident, precise, and purposeful. Curious, the male finds his paws and wanders over. Whatever the other B'alam is doing- it's making a sound. It's pleasing. It's speaking somehow... intrigued, the newly-awaked B'alam joins the other, staring with a child-like innocence. He is greeted with a smile and a polite laugh. This being is Riddle-Mouth, or Shandor as the Wind-Kin will be privileged to know. In the days to follow, he will teach the newly-woven B'alam about their world. However, the newly awakened B'alam won't be the best of students. Sounds distract him, he often loses himself in them. The words of his teacher become just another part of something bigger happening in his mind.

Noticing this, the Magus asks for the newly-awakend B'alam to share his thoughts. This exchange is given in the form of music.

What was the Magus doing that inspired the first thoughts of music? What was going through this boy's mind? What does he hear around him? How did he perform his first song for the Magus? How does he make his music? Give us some idea of who this boy is, what his mind goes through when he composes, and how he sees this new world.

Show us who this B'alam is. Give us a taste of what we can expect from you in taking this role on. We want to believe this B'alam's story, his dreams, his personality, his spirit. There's no word limit.

Anil took every word spoken to him and was able to turn it into a tune. It would play over and over in his head repeating and repeating. That was how he remembered things he had to just remember the song and he would recall all. The sound of the wind as he flew from the air was like a tune. He wanted to find a way to recreate it but never knew how. He would try to make it by stomping his paws against grass or getting close to water, it was never the same.

He saw it in a dream. It was a way that he could make that tune once again. It was a strange looking thing with strings attached. It created a soft noise one that calmed him. He felt as if the sound was telling a story. It was a story he wanted to share with others. He had to share it. It became the small B’alam’s mission. He wanted to be able to share the tune hidden within his mind. He would do it using his soul, using his spirt.

He focuses on the air in front of him. He used his mind to see an image, as well as a sound. He wanted to find a way to make it real. He began to use his strength to create the object from his dream. It hurt the first time but he thought he saw a faint image of it. He tried once again wanting to succeed knowing he wouldn’t give up in till he did, and then it happened.

The object was in front of him. It was a harp. His eyes scanned over the strings and a sound was made. It was a light sound. It soothed his soul. He tried it again. On his last try he did it. He made the sound of the wind. It was the sound of the air when one would fly. He showed the Magus his gift. The wind tribe was intrigued by the gift the grand weaver had given him as was he. He wanted to forever use his power to tell others stories, to teach them lessons, to bring joy to others; he could only hope that his wish would come true.

The Quiz♦♦♦

xxxWhy do the Wind Tribe B'alam have to harvest from the surface? Their home grounds have little resources including the soils of the floating lands not being favorable for food to grow in.
xxxHow does one obtain a Magus? Ten rps are needed to obtain a Magus with the exception of converted elders to adults from the previous shop who require only five rps. A Tribe's season is when a Magus of that Tribe awakens and is when that Tribe's conversions to Magus take priority.
xxxWhat is the Wind Tribe's season? It is The Storm's Eye during the months of March and April.
xxxWhy do Wind Tribe B'alam take two names? Unlike one's true name, one's Gypsy name is used around non-kin and on the surface.

◘═══════◘

About the B'alam ♦♦♦

xxxWhat's her name? Shamira
xxxxxxMeaning? protector
xxxWhat's her Gypsy name? Creative Flight
xxxxxxWhy this name? She likes to add an artistic flair to her approaches on many sorts of matters and a part of her always seems to be in flight, such as her mind or wings.
xxxPersonality ||
Shamira is at her core a friendly individual who is also tact, firm, considerate, and fair. However, she is hyperactive in the sense that she can seemingly shift the mood of her bearing and demeanor to and from relaxed and sharp in one beat. For instance, one moment she is leisurely chatting with you and the next she has somehow excused herself and gone to tend to business concerning inventory before returning shortly and picking up where she left off all in energetic style.
xxxHow many lovers has she had in the past? None.
xxxWhat is her mindset within the Tribe? She fully supports the Tribe's survival and will defend, back, and contribute actions, thoughts, and suggestions to its ongoing flight.
xxxWhat kind of plots would you like for her?
She likes to bounce ideas around with others concerning how the food supply is managed and made available. Approaches like a food court or menu style can be experimented with as well as a shopping or grocery selection method. She will be recruiting for interest in safekeeping the supplies and I can also imagine her sharing reactions about being around all the food ranging from hunger about considering and fighting impromptu taste-testing daydreams to brainstorming about thinking over organization options. Maybe discovering an interesting location near the storage and distribution base could possibly happen too? The spell she is likely to learn upon awakening as a Magus is using a flap of her wings to create a blast of high-speed wind for protection under threat.
xxxWhat will she look for in a soul-mate?
Mutual respect, faithfulness, love, understanding, and camaraderie are what she will look for in a soul-mate.
xxxHow does she maintain the resources?
User Image
For starting out, Shamira carves marks into four trees. Food is classified as either plant or beast. Plants fall into one category. Beasts are grouped by three types being soil, water, and air. Beasts are differentiated by behavior with feeding excluded. Do they fly or swim at least half of their days or not? In regards to counting, Shamira takes inventory and distributes supplies usually by the half dozen with each marked set taking six strokes. More boxes are added to the marked set to indicate when subtraction occurs. She will also take into account the state of the food's freshness while organizing, trying her hand at a first-in-first-out strategy among other considerations.
xxxHow will she work with the Paguba? She will strive for harmonious interactions with them.

Tell her story ♦♦♦
|[ Prompt ]|
She has just woken up, she is as ignorant as a newborn infant. She has instincts, thoughts, dreams, and curiosities. She is a complete being, a sharp mind in the body of an adult. At first, she is only aware of the land that she has woken on. The wind rolls over her, whispering through the grass and the rocks and sending arcs of mist up from the nearby stream. She is unaware of the surface, of wingless B'alam, of anything outside of her own being.

Nearby, something approaches. Her belly growls as she catches scent of something...different. Another B'alam, larger than she with a dark pair of eyes sharp as daggers but playful as a cub, approaches. Something hangs from his maw- the source of that wonderful smell. He drops it at her paws and noses it closer, encouraging her to eat. She obliges and soon the ache in her belly goes away. Curious, she inquires after this feeling, who he is, and more importantly- who she is.

Who does she think she is? Her question is met with a question, and she is forced to stop and think about her answer. Who is he? Who does he seem to be? What was that thing? What did it seem to be? Question met with question, riddle after riddle. In the days that follow, she learns about the land that she's woken on. She's taught how to fly and shown the edge of the island. It's also explained that food is not easy to come by- that it must be gained somehow. Not everyone will be talented in the sky, nor bold enough to venture below the clouds. She brings this up, concerned for others like herself in the future.

Pleased with this concern, the Magus explains that he plans on issuing her a partner and a task to solve this problem. How this settles on her is up to you.

Give us an example of a self-roleplay. Tell us how this experience goes. Tell us what she thought during this time of instruction, how she felt about it, what she observed for herself, how she took her role from her mentor, and how she progressed in accomplishing the task.

Show us who this B'alam is. Give us a taste of what we can expect from you in taking this role on. We want to believe this B'alam's story, her dreams, her personality, her spirit. There's no word limit.

Currently, Shamira was absentmindedly drawing on a stone with another, smaller stone, practicing the activity, which was one of many that has fascinated her along with flying. While doing so, she was thinking deeply and seriously. Time went by and now she was drawing on a log beside her. How could she go about the task she was given? It was intimidating but much, much more than that it was so very, very interesting and full of an abundance of possibilities.

She then suddenly stood from the spot where she was lounging and flew over to a site she recalled happening upon before. The trees here grew more closely at some points and farther apart at others but always she found room to maneuver whether or not choosing to be in flight. After circling the vicinity and letting her imagination run rampant, she decidedly chose this place as the harbor where the Tribe's food supply is to be kept and distributed.

About the B'alam ♦♦♦

xxxWhat's his name? Rhapsody
xxxxxxMeaning?
rhap·so·dy
ˈrapsədē/
noun
1.
an effusively enthusiastic or ecstatic expression of feeling.
"rhapsodies of praise"
a free instrumental composition in one extended movement, typically one that is emotional or exuberant in character.
2.
(in ancient Greece) an epic poem, or part of it, of a suitable length for recitation at one time.
xxxWhat's his Gypsy Name? Wind Waker.
xxxxxxWhy this name? Honest to Milintica answer: Legend of Zelda, wind Waker....he manipulates the wind with a conductors rod or a baton. More creative answer: well, wind-you need it to fly and well, they are the 'wind tribe'. Waker, means: '1. someone who rouses others from sleep
2. a person who awakes'

So put them together and you have one who awakens the wind, rouses it to a great a better purpose-give it direction.

And it sounds amazing....
xxxPersonality ||
Hmm, the prompt says he wasn't the best of students, because he is 'easily distracted by the sound of music. So I feel he is going to be one of those, 'I want to be the center of attention', but in away where everyone is Included and fun like an ensemble of laughter or a symphony of fun. In short, arrogant class clown.
True and loyal to kin, he does follow 'honor among' thieves to a note. He is 'traditional' as much as traditional as a tribe member would be....

Though he would rather have fun then study, he is a keen teacher as he keeps attention with fun. Turning rhythm and poetry into a performance that one would be interested in listening to. He is a natural story teller, and would rather turn a mundane tell in to a grand elaborate epic, then do something considered as 'work'. Words and sounds are to him as a paint and oils are to a artist.

He takes laughter over a fight any day, but knows when to stand up, take off and fly if he needs too.

Also, enjoys going to the surface, to spread how amazing Wind kin are-and how the wingless are missing out. spreading stories just in general-he sees his whole life as a grand epic just being written.

xxxHas he ever been broken-hearted? The only broken heart he would have suffered if he was robbed of the sounds around him for a second. (No.)
xxxWhat is his mindset within the Tribe? That it is to be filled with music and grand tales of Epic, especially that of the clan of wind! He is to help groom the colony to have this mindset, and know the power or words and sounds.

His mindset of the tribe, is that Windkin have been gifted with a great gift and are special and set apart. They have a right to what they take from others, because they where not given much from their land. Proud and set apart, only other windkin could only understand the freedom they have.

xxxWhat kind of plots would you like for him? I would really like to see him soul-bound to the Dance weaver, especially since they would be working closely together. Perhaps something to do with theater, and tells of great stories.
A 'school of bards' would be amazing.
Also, I would like to see him passing on his knowledge to making instruments...
Best idea: In the Storm's eye, he will immortalize the victors in a bards tale of sorts.

xxxWhat will he look for in a soul-mate?
she would need to be as expressionate with emotions as he is with words. As quick as a whip, and the sting of strike, but yet as gentle and flowing as a rope relaxed.
Playful and lovely-she would have to enjoy his singing voice and tolerate his music.
xxxWhere does he find the inspiration for his compositions?
The world around him, and by the acts of others. The emotion that drives them and the sounds that encourage them.....
xxxHow will he view the surface-dwellers?
The are amusing to him, and worth watching. In a "awe look at that, they are trying to make wax wings...."

Then watch, without telling them about the sun. They are his audience as far as he is concerned, and if one really catches his interest they can maybe be a script to his music....

He doesn't view them lesser then that of Windkin, just unfortante...however he -does- acknowledge their strengths, and even spreads tale of valor...

Rhapsody was at vary first amused and fascinated with the way Riddle mouth spoke, when they first woke so much so, that it caught his attention more then anything. The words, how there was so many different ways to describe something and say something that was the same-but have someone view it completely different depending on the words chosen...that was until, he discovered rhythm of sound. Then life just exploded with posiblities-which, could contest to the constant sounds he would make to try and make them cohesive to the magus' words while he spoke. Creating music and sound, made him feel alive and open to a whole new world of expression, something he loved to see awaken in others by the music he created. To awaken something deep inside, to stir and summon something inside another to even express themselves trough movement, and even manipulate emotion!

Riddle mouth took notice of this, and found that it could perhaps be used in a grander means of creating music and ballads.

Finally: this was something that Windwaker felt he could get ahold of an pay attention to, he started taking more note of words and how they where used, and what sounds could be combined with them to also effect the way the words where perceived.

Having success with this, Rhapsody felt he needed a 'tool' to help him complete this task and in doing so he found though trial and error. Sheer luck or blessing from the Grandweaver, that creating a hallowed piece of wood with tightly stretched cords across it, created something like what we would call a 'lute'.....
Playing this tool, it held helped to express what he saw, felt and even what others or himself spoke. Even more so help add to the mood of what he saw when others danced, to the music he created.

Creating such a thing, he wanted the magus to see such a delight. To know it so passionately and wished it to be show though out the land, for even the land dwellers shouldn't be robbed of such a 'heavenly' thing. Others must know of it, and even know the joy of making it. Music, story and a manifestation of emotion and tale though sound. Riddle mouth agreed, but only after their Kin knew of it first

Thus, his adventure begins...

*he soon then after learned he could use his streamers as means to help conduct and time music for others to follow along with and be conducted.*

About the B'alam ♦♦♦

xxxWhat's her name? Flick
xxxxxxMeaning? Dancing term; "Move free foot sharply backward; no weight change. Pretend you have a pebble under your toe and you want to send it flying back.
One can also flick across and in front of the supporting foot."

xxxWhat's her Gypsy name? Feather-Step
xxxxxxWhy this name? "Feather or Feather step is a dance figure in the International Style Foxtrot.[1] Depending on a syllabus, it consists of three or four steps (man stepping basically forward), with the third step (right foot) done outside the lady (lady on the right side) with a slight turn in the body position to the right.

The feather is also known as the continuity finish in silver American Style Foxtrot." ICly; It's a style of dance and has a nice ring to it. Flick would define dancing as a series of graceful steps and would believe that "Feather Step" defines who she is and what she does to those who are not of the tribe.
xxxPersonality ||
Flick is kind spirited, child-at-hearted, creative and graceful being. She finds rhythm in everything from nature's sounds to the words simply spoken. In her mind she finds joy in translating these rhythms to body language and re-telling them in the form of a dance. She also enjoys a good story, being pulled into a tale and feeding her wild imagination. Flick finds great joy in combining these two things. Movement reflects the emotions and emotions captivate an audience.
xxxHow was she treated by her parents? NO PARENTS!
xxxWhat is her mindset within the Tribe? Flick loves her tribe and considers them closer than family. What they do is how they were woven, and there is nothing wrong with that. She believes it is up to her to keep them entertained and informed by her unique story telling methods. This way the tribe's legacy is passed down and not forgotten and her joy is spread to the others.
xxxWhat kind of plots would you like for her?
I would like to see her work with the conductor in correlating songs with her dances and stories of the tribe's history, as well as some fables and tall tales. Entertainment and education! Flick should also try to find apprentices to pass along her knowledge of grace and story telling through movement, so that more people could carry on her task (At some point she will realize she can't be everywhere at once)
xxxWhat will she look for in a soul-mate?
To complete her spirit, she would want someone who was good with rythm. Someone who can make her dance and understand movement just as she can, but bring their own addition to the performance.
xxxHow does she come up with her dances?
Flick watches nature and uses it to form her steps. She feels the rhythm and moves in such a way to mimic it through her body's limitations. Eventually she will take what she has learned and try to combine it or elaborate to invent her own moves. This will be used especially when story telling events she can only picture in her mind. She pictures the objects in her mind and tries to move to how she feels the sounds, events, feelings.
xxxHow will she view the surface-dwellers? At first she will not know who they are, but after learning not all B'alam have wings;
Surface dwellers were not as gifted as the wind tribes. They have no wings and cannot feel the sky's music. However, she pities them instead of spites them. It would be part of her goal to dance for them and share her tribe's stories (Even if she believes they might not understand all of it... due to their lack of being able to fly and feel the wind's rhythm). But she will try to invent dances that even they can understand.

Suddenly, something moves in front of the light. A pair of dark, laughing eyes and a welcoming but complicated smile greets her. He instructs her to her paws and brings her to the stream for her first drink. In the days following, she learns that this individual is Riddle-Mouth, one of the Tribe's Magus. He tells her about the Grand Weaver, shows her how to use her wings, and frequently asks for her own observations. What does she see in the wind? Why do the leaves tumble like that? What is the grass doing? What are the sounds trying to say? What do you suppose is over the edge of the island? Why does the sky hold treasures so far away? He never comments on the answer, he only smiles, sometimes he laughs.

One day the Magus finds her moving, perhaps trying to mirror the things around her. Leaves in the wind, blades of grass, even the ruffling of her own feathers or the graceful swaying of the banners and ribbons around the Tribe. Who knows? This encounter provokes a thought- dancing. The tribe should speak in dancing. But why her? Why should she be the one to script those stories and just how will she go about it?

Give us an example of a self-roleplay. Tell us how this experience goes. Tell us what she thought during this time of instruction, how she felt about it, what she observed for herself, how she took her role from her mentor, and how she progressed in accomplishing the task.

Show us who this B'alam is. Give us a taste of what we can expect from you in taking this role on. We want to believe this B'alam's story, her dreams, her personality, her spirit. There's no word limit.

Riddle-Mouth had already shown her all she needed to know about the world she now was so fascinated with. Everything made sounds, everything had it's own movement, it's own story. That is why the leaves tumbled, that is why the gras moved and waved, they were all part of a wonderful symphony, a grand story, and she wanted to share that with those who watched.

Flick was convinced that is what the grand-weaver had in mind when he wove her into being. To dance and move as the world around her and to share the stories she saw in their movements. No doubt Riddle-Mouth had seen her ability to feel rhythm and translate it into graceful movement, movement that reflected the free spirit of the wind tribe itself. Her dances could be used to share their culture, their stories, and entertain. Riddle-mouth saw this natural gift and no doubt chose her to teach others because of it. This translation of feelings, emotions, the world, could easily be interpreted and used to chronicle the tribe's history. Not to mention it was entertaining.

Her blue eyes widened as she watched a gentle breeze glide across a vast grassy field. The blades bent and moved in unison to the gentle whistle. Her ears perked forward and strained to catch the soft rusting of the grass. Oh what a sound!

With a soft hum, one to mimic the wind's sound, she extended her wings and begun to wave them as she had observed. The rustling of the trees chimed in, the sound caused her paws to lift while her whiskers to waved to their sound. The jewelry she had been gifted softly chimed to her movements.

She had to alter her steps, the jingle of her rings needed to add to the music, not destroy it.

Carefully she changed her steps, one that would allow her rings to chime in sync with the wind. As she begun to prance she noticed the long fabric wrapped around her head also caught the wind and had its own part to play in this tune. It needed to fit too!

Flick giggled to her own trial and error. These untuned noises were funny when they clashed.

After a few more tweaks to her steps and timing, Flick finally managed to get her body and decorations in sync with the symphony of the wind, and the other "performers" adding their tune. Hear heart pleasantly flipped as she lept and twirled about. In her mind she could see each step as if it were alive, it had its own words.
From the skies above to the skies below (which she believed for the time being that there was nothing but sky all around them. She'll figure it out eventually...), she would make sure this this tune was repeated. The story of the wind running through the grass and trees needed to be re-told.

The Quiz♦♦♦

xxxWhy is it an insult to be called "Gadje" by a wind-balam? Gadje is a name for outsiders, those not of the wind tribe. Calling a wind this would indicate they have betrayed the ideals of the tribe.
xxxHow long does an rp have to be before it's considered 'complete'? RPs can be any length. However, both character (or writers) should have at least 1000 words.
xxxWhat is the Wind Tribe's season? April-March is the Wind Tribe’s Season (during this timeframe Wind couples will be favored in breedings).
xxxWhy do Wind Tribe B'alam take two names? There is a common name, which anyone may call you by; this can even be used by those we few as unimportant or inferior. We also have our real name, which is typically shared only within the Tribe or used by family/friends and would not be shared with those tethered to the ground.

About the B'alam ♦♦♦

xxxWhat's her name? Arella Mara
xxxxxxMeaning? Arella- Angel/Messenger; Mara- Melody
xxxWhat's her Gypsy name? Bright Breeze
xxxxxxWhy this name? Because of her color and her love of dancing on the wind.
xxxPersonality || While this little lady is an excellent listener, a welcoming presence and a cheerful demeanor… she can also get a bit lost. Usually plotting dance steps or movements in her head, or humming one scrap of music or another, you may lose her somewhere in the middle of a long story if she gets a song or dance stuck in her mind!
xxxHow was she treated by her parents? She has no parents, is one of the first to be woven into being and awaken alongside the Magus.
xxxWhat is her mindset within the Tribe?
xxxWhat kind of plots would you like for her? I’d rather like her to travel and meet others (even other tribes) so she can absorb some of the movements into her dance. She could learn fight posture or aggressive movement from the Dark or Fire Tribes; fluid motion from the Water Tribe, and so on.
xxxWhat will she look for in a soul-mate? A superb dancer! Bright Breeze will fall in love with a male who can share her love of music, can perform on the wing to impress her, and is willing to help her as she tries to plan out dance movements and steps for important events.
xxxHow does she come up with her dances? Everything around her is inspiration, she can find music on the wind and dance moves in the swaying of the grass or the flight of birds.
xxxHow will she view the surface-dwellers? While she feels bad they cannot indulge in the beautiful aerial dances that her tribe can display, she doesn’t think the ground dwelling B’alam are entirely bad. After all, she has four paws the same as they! She can plan out dance steps on the ground just as well as the moves in the air, and that means if they want to –anyone- can dance! And anyone who wants to dance? Is a friend of hers!

She’s very fond of Riddle-Mouth, even from the very start. True enough there are things he says that make –no- sense at all to her, but she doesn’t let that hold her back. She is content to learn and grow, to soak up the knowledge he shares and tuck away his more peculiar settings in her mind until she can untangle them later. (There are certain ones she doesn’t bother to fight with, they make her head hurt from the start. After some time, she has learned to let those go. To just take what she can from his wisdom and move on.
He shows her the tall trees and lets her drink the crystal water, talks to her about the movement of wind and prey, shows her how to soar. And oh, how she loves flight! Loves the fight to climb as high as possible, the freedom of folding her wings and diving. She spirals through the air as gaily as a sparrow, glides like a cloud, flutters like a songbird. Nothing is so glorious as flight, she thinks.
Until she discovers something better.
Granted, as the best thing sometimes do, it occurs rather by accident.
Riddle-Mouth is speaking, but she only understands three-quarters of what he has said. (It’s an improvement, since when she first started she’s fairly sure that her average was only a quarter.) And perhaps she would have better luck with it if she was paying complete attention, but something else has caught her. There is a certain level of enchantment in the swaying of the branches, and the movement keeps catching her eye as she strives to focus on him.
Once again her gaze drifts, over his shoulder and past his handsome wings to the flow of the branches in the wind. Once again her attention is caught in the movement, and she begins to sway on her paws. Her wingtips flitter like the trailing leaves, but not quite like. She focuses on the movement and tries it again, the muscles in her wings relaxing as she lets the wind guide her.
This is almost like flying, but better… Better because she can feel the movements throughout her body, guided by her heart and her mind. There is almost a music to it, so she begins humming in harmony. It isn’t much, yet, but it’s a start.
Suddenly her attention is back on the Magus, and she lets her ears droop as she gives him an apologetic look. The fact that he’s grinning at her gives her pause. And she’s not expecting the approving nod.
‘Those who hear a song on the wind should teach others to dance.’
… What does that mean?
