Jack straightened, as he reached his full height he wobbled a step before quickly catching himself.

"Eh, yeah..."Jack spoke as he caught himself. Shaking his head, Jack let his eyes closed. Slowly his eyes open to look at the ground under him, steadily Jack raised his head to look at the other, who offered a paw...

"I'm fine..." Mr. frost answered taking a testing step. "Thank you." Jack spoke as his head turned back to the other Tahtll. Blinking, he let out a laugh at the comment of taking him back to the hole. Friend? Well, how could this stranger know....

"Ah, she won't like that-especially with no reason...." The Tahtll spoke, wondering if he should bring her back some food-he knew he was hungry....

"But thank you. I'm Jack." Mr. Frost spoke with a puff of presentation.

As the Tahtll, known as 'Jack', started to raise to his paws. Bucky did the right thing-or what he felt was right, and remained ready to catch the Tahtll if need be. Just in case, the other couldn't stand. Brown eyes remained carefully trained on the other. Easy and slowly now. A approving breath released from the b'alam as he watched the other straighten fully. Standing was good progress in recovery and so was speaking. This one seemed like he was going to be okay. 'Jack' seemed like was going to be okay. Which was a good thing, because Bucky didn't even want to think what it was going to be like if he returned to the spiky one to tell her that he wasn't. Why would he do that? Well, it wasn't in him to not do so. Just something inside him felt that would be wrong if he didn't...

Luckily he didn't have to, and if need to Jack could return there by his own paws.

With the response given, Bucky was able to relax his stance. He released a slow breath, and his strong shoulders slack a little, but he kept a close tentative watch.

"Ah," Left Bucky's maw, as he made a glance at the corner of his gaze. His experience agreed with his given statement. So perhaps they where not friends.

" I suppose that should have been obvious." Or something like that. " She didn't seem too keen on guests." Bucky returned with a slow shake of his head, he didn't understand it-but a soft chuckle left him regardless.

"James Barns." Bucky spoke the name he woke up knowing. A Name that he felt was his, and he knew it to be such internally.

"Though, I've also been told "Bucky" was easier to remember." Which to be fair, it was a little bit easier to recall. Perhaps because of it simple, yet unique sound it had to it.

Brow eyes gazed back in the direction of the ice cave before returning full attention to Jack. He had mentioned that she wouldn't have been too keen about him returning without reason? For some reason, that just sounded strange, and almost a but cruel. Especially considering, that he was without scratch. Something that the Nahtll seemed way too overly found in inflicting upon another.

Looking back to Jack, Bucky turned his brown gaze back to him, he had to ask.

"You two having a bit of trouble?" The words left his brow maw slowly and carefully. He was a bit curious to the whole situation as it just seemed all too...strange.

The fact that James was willing to catch him, did not go unnoticed. Shaking off the daze once more, Jack released a breath.

"Bucky?" Jack's maw grew into a wide smile as he looked back into the sabertooth's eyes. "I like 'Bucky' better." The other Tahtll answered, before fallowing his attention to the glance at the cave.

"She is just trouble." Jack answered, shaking his head as his eyes remained fixed on the cave. They would have had to have something for it to be anything they shared together.

"Why, she share a pleasant 'hello' to you?" The Tahtll chuckled.

"Perhaps- she is just hungry." Jack grinned at a joke, raising his paw he nudged the idea.

A smile slowly tugged at Jame's maw as he watched the lighter b'alam test out the nickname of 'bucky'. He did seem to be rather found of the name, or perhaps it was just the fact that he found it hard not to smile around this other Tahtll.

"Than feel free to call me by that." Bucky answered breaking his smile into a rich, yet soft laugh. Little nub of his tail twitched a little in a slight wiggle.

'Bucky': It was a name that just made sense to him, he didn't know why. Especially to someone seeing saber teeth for the first time. The nickname had stuck. Perhaps, he should just introduce himself as such from now on, especially if he got the same reaction from every he met as he did from Jack.

"I can see that." The laugh trailed off into a sigh, where his smile partially fell at the mention of the prickly one. "Oh yes," He sighed, giving a little bit more strength to his smile, past his buck teeth.

"pearly white teeth and claws in all." Bucky was kind to specify. He did after all get a good look at them. Seeing them very clearly no less then a inch form his face.

The Larger ice b'alam gave shrug of his shoulders and than shook his head. Just hungry? Nahtlil that just got hungry, got like that? Well, that was good to know...though certainly it couldn't be every Nahtlil. Seemed just too unfair to do something like. Perhaps it wasn't all Nahtlil, kinda like how not ever Tahtll had a set of buck like fangs like he. Though it was wonder what she was like on a good day.

"You need help finding something for her than?" Bucky kindly asked, If she was hungry-perhaps he could help with getting some food for his new found friend. Though, she was rather violent so...

" Or were you vacating the premises as so as possible? " Bucky couldn't help himself to a soft chuckle. Anyone couldn't blame him for wanting to run, Bucky figured most would. She seemed as cuddly as a pointed Rock. Not to mention as cold as one on a icy day.

Jack's smiled broadened to the agreement of the name. Good, he liked the name 'Bucky' it was vary fitting. Especially with those chompers he had.

"Beautiful, isn't she?" Jack answered, unknowingly releasing a sigh.

"Ah, I was leaving, she is not too fond of me either...." Mr. frost admitted, his ears flicking down in a glimmer of guilt. Why did he feel bad, she didn't want him to be around....

"But I should, if she really -is- hungry." Jack added, with a little grin. "She did fall in a lake after all..." He stated casually, well-so did he, and he found he was rather hungry too..

"Besides, we could all get something to eat. It would be fun." The snow cat stated as if to reassure himself, his chest puffed as if to boast the idea.

As Jack spoke, Bucky's dark ears turned back a little to his words. The sigh did not go unnoticed, it just went commented on. What could he say to such a comment? He hadn't seen this 'beauty' past the razor sharp claws that had threatened to take his mask off. So Instead Bucky's head slowly bobbled up and down. He was at a lost to say, so again-he just remained quiet. The Nahtlil, may have been a sight to look at, but the temper was more than enough to have such beauty overlooked. At least in his thoughts, he really couldn't speak for jack's thoughts on the idea of her so called 'beauty'. Maybe it was something that was only to the holder, like it was up to a personal opinion.

As food and a meal was mentioned once more, Bucky's ears turned and perked slightly. Yeah, he was just thinking that-

"It might take some of the edge off." The Tahtll spoke with a nod. "Well, a good meal. " Bucky then suggested with a shrug. It was true that he always felt better after a good meal. More energy and a clear mind.

Brow scrunched as the second set of words almost glanced over his thoughts with how simply his friend jack had spoken them. His ears turned and twitched-

Wait... did he say lake? Bucky's eyes widened to the thought, the dark mask that back his eyes only helped the drastic gesture. Lakes were cold, very cold even for ones like them who favors the ice. It had been long ingrained in his thoughts that swimming in the frozen lake was a very -bad- idea. especially in this time of the season. It was not a good idea, or a desired one...well for the sane anyways. No wonder she was so grumpy, and he was off balance.

"In the few seconds I saw her, I would guess she doesn't know the meaning." He sighed, and slowly shook his head once more as he reminded himself that he was not one to judge.

"But a hunt would be fun." Bucky noted with another bob of his head. Though, he had to wonder after the fall or rather trip Jack had taken. It would only be right to ask, not to be rude, but rather cautious and yes, concerned for the other Tahtll. It was only polite. Someone had to show him kindness, especially if he was intent on staying with that prickly Nahtlil.

" You think you can move enough to hunt?"

'Take the Edge off', from that Ice Queen in the den? Jack's smiled widen with amusement at the unlikely posiblity of such a thing happening. The Nahtill was as sharp as ice....

However, he should get her something to eat, befoe he parts ways with her for good. Perhaps it was a good thing, he slammed into the tree. Knocked some caring sense into him.

"Does Snow fall?" Jack answered taking the statement as a perposd challange. "If anything i can scar up a meal."Mr Frost chuckled, as he started to turn himself in a wobble, in a perposed direction for food.

"I think it more drifts." Bucky answered with a half upward twist of his lip.

The meaning was understood, but he couldn't resist being at least a little snarky. This guy wasn't dead. He seemed to like his fun.

Bucky quickly picked up the cue and moved along side of the wobbling winter wonder. Jack may be able to scat whatever, but he could take it down and drag it back for them. There wasn't any reason not to. He'd have appriciated the help if the roles were reversed.

"Well, you scar it than, I'll make sure it understands what that means." Bucky chuckled.

Pale eyes looked forward before his ears followed suit. Despite the horizon's mythical blending of white and dark trunks of trees, he had quickly learned that pray was the one thing to break the tranquility of the horizon. No matter how much they tried to blend in.

Jack stopped in mid movment as Bucky was quick to corrected his statement "Well.." The Tahtill let his ears flick back and his paw raised. "Yes, if you want to bring your logic and reason into this conversation." Mr. Frost spoke befoe turning his head back to the task at hand. Though he was corrected, The snow cat shared a smug grin on his maw. He found he liked this 'Bucky', there where others in this world that could take a joke, and have fun....

Moving to the task at hand, Jack lowered himself closer to the ground and he started in a prowl. The least he could do is scare something up. However with the tumble and landing he took, it was likely that all the meals had already been scared up....

"It happens from time to ti-" Bucky looked downward to Jack's sudden Prowling. "-time."

Well, he had the right idea. There was probably a great awakening when Jack had taken his fall. At least for anything in the immediate area.

Bucky looked forward again before lowing a fraction and lightening his steps. The subtle wind cold be easier to hear than each movement from the hunter. A twig napped just across the way, followed by a slight shuffling in the show. The powder snow from the top layer could be seen puffing up just past the trees.

His pale eyes narrowed. There. He could smell it. It was aware of them too, but only slightly so. Perhaps questioning it's own danger.

Bucky crouched lower. Quietly he begun to angle away from Jack, to the opposite side. He didn't question if Jack would know how to hunt, he had a feeling they would co-operate just fine.

Jack slowly nodded his head to Bucky's words. As the twig was snapped, Frost picked up his head slightly, as an eye swivled in the sounded direction. Picking up his paw, he moved to the oppisit direction for a vice-grip. Being slower and tired, Jack took it upon himself to fallow the other tahtills lead. Looking over to him, he slowly nodded. Keeping an watchful eye on Bucky, Jack waited for and watching his movement.

Was this the try for an kill, or just a small snack-all of them needed to be fed.

Jack stilled, the smell of frost and warmth seeped though his maw, the smell of something, was vary close.

Lowering himself even more, Jack's shower hunches bobled back and forth, Icy eyes flicked back over to Bucky waiting for the okay for him to pounce and scare up the meal.....

Bucky had managed to sneak around the other side, opposite where Jack was wiggling his tuckas. His eyes remained trained on the pray, body remained close to the ground as he inched forward.

Briefly he checked Jack's position. Right. Almost, almost-

With a heartfelt roar he lept toward the pray. The antlered bahemoth made a strange trumpet-like call before it darted away from it's attacker, and toward the hidden Jack.

Bucky darted out after it, making sure it did not veer off course. The snow flying about the chase made it all the more exciting. Backy had never done a co-op before, but something had told him to was a logical way to conduct it. It made it easyier. He didn't have to catch it, just make sure Jack did.

As the large creature rose from the ground, Jack's eye widened. The thing was a lot bigger then he had conjured in his mind! In moments instinct took over where mind was surprised.

The snow cat's coat easily hid him from the unsuspecting creature now running for it's life. With a leap, claws spring from their shiefs and maw pulled back fangs poised to rip and cling on the antler beast.

Arms wrapped around the large body, as Jack's maw dug in to the creature's under neck. Using his own weight, the cat pulled and made to flop the struggling creature down to the snow and frozen ground.

Ah! Bucky knew his trust was not misplaced! As a well tuned mechanism, they were able to bring the beast down. Bucky was able to make it to the flailing beast just as Jack had managed to get it down to the snow and flailing for its fading life.

Bucky took this opportunity to be double sure the beast would stay on the ground. Jack was strong, but he had also taken a nasty spill moments before. Buck placed his massive paws on the base of the neck and away from Jack's maw. The weight of his frame remained pressed against the beast, he also remained ready in case it miraculously managed to spring from it's 'grave'.

He refused to leave until the beast stopped wiggling. Which, took a few moments before it's crushed wind-pipe ceased attempting to pass air.

"Nice" Buckly released a held breath as he slowly backed away from the meaty corps.

"You doin' alight?" He inquired, watching jack carefully for signs of passing out again.

Jack only released the meal as it stopped wiggling, and it's life could be felt leaving it's body.

Releasing a breath, Jack slowly straightened, and back upped from the kill. Taking in a slow breath he nodded to Bucky's words. They did do a nice job.

Jack wondered if Elsa would like it.

"Thank you, couldn't be done with out your help." Jack smiles, licking his maw his eyes moved from Bucky to the kill.

"Eh, yeah." The snow cat spoke, his breathing was kicked up and he was a little worse for wear.

Though, tired he still held a fearless grin.

"Good job."
