No, the English don't think they are better than the Scots, they know it.

Which is even more infuriating.

(I have my sarcastic hat on here actually, I am so tired of inter-brittal hatred. At least everyone is friends in the GBG.)

Great! Now everyone's gonna think that I'm some horrible, evil, blood-spilling dictator or something! 0_0;;;

-goes emo and runs into a corner, rocking backwards and forwards-

I wouldn't worry. theres plenty of them round here. You'll fit right in.
Though I have to say you're more just showing signs of Scottishness. It's all good.
what is that supposed to mean?

Not at all, but I'm not a proper Englishman.

Anyway, stereotypes are funny.

As an aside, there's a post (indirectly) for you in the "what we wear" thread.

But it's tradition. And it's not really hatred. I would be very upset if England suddenly disapeared, and not just for the fact that a large part of the country had went missing.
I think north/south bashing is a commen thing. Theres definately the same sort of thing in lots of countries.

I'm not really that sure. xp I was going to try and blame it on posting really late but I seem to have posted it in the middle of the day. *blames it on posting in the middle of the day*

I haven't ever heard the milk/tea stereotype before. Whats the rest of it.
And putting the tea in before the milk is just annoying since you don't need to stir if the milk goes in first.

Oh I was reading a book a few days ago that had a sentence roungly approximating 'The English are generally a peaceful lot, unless you try to put the wilk in before the tea. And the all hell breaks loose.'

An exaggeration no doubt, but it appears to me that most people are more discerning in their choice of tea (or, heaven-forbid, coffee!) than they are in their choice of Prime minister.

S'the same with the whole porridge thing. Apparently, a true scot always eats his porridge without sugar...or was it Milk? I can't remember. lolz

...y'know, I've just read over my posts...and I have to say I apologize. You might all think I'm lying, but I wouldn't exactly lie about something as (quite as) serious as this.

I'm sorry if it's sounds like I'm going against any country, and I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to defend myself in my earlier posts, but I have paranoia. It's not as bad as it used to be, but it comes on and goes off now and again. I guess I was just being paranoid and feeling retrained. I tend to feel like that when I'm isolated sometimes.
Or I sometimes feel isolated when I don't have my friends with me.

I'm sorry, I feel really embarassed now. redface crying
