“Ah, ya, an ointment!” She echoed. Yes, that sounded correct. At Na’s words though, well, Hel had the gall to look a bit smug as she grinned up at her. “If we want to be technical, you still owe me from when I gathered ingredients for you the last time.”
Oh yes, she was going with that.

Na'ima's brow raised. Oh, she had a point. "This is true! However, those ingredients were payment for your request. It is not my fault you decided you no longer wished to have a serum made." She would not impressed she was somewhat impressed by Hel's argument. It was a smart one. However, Na'ima had been doing this a very long time; using people for her own personal gain was something she found very easy to do. The horseman plucked a leaf out of a nearby tree as she passed it, looking it over and rubbing it between her fingers.
"You may cash in another favor to replace that price, one that does not use up the ingredients. No, Hel. My price this time is you must show me why I am making you an ointment. I will accept nothing else."

“Ya, I know, but by honor and our word, it means that I still have a favor to call on because you did not deliver on your side ~” On this matter, Hel was rather smart. Promises, deals, and one’s word were very important matters to her. The reaper blinked in surprise as Na seemed to be well, rather generous today. So she still had her favor from the gathering of ingredients, and now Na would grant her another favor and make her an ointment if she showed her why? Well, when put like that, that was very simple.
But still, Hel could complain about having to shed all those layers just to show her.
“BUT MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!” Hel wailed playfully again before she stopped.
“Alright.” She then started to shed her layers, starting with her long sleeved orange and brown bolero, which was stained now anyways. She tossed it on the grass. Then went her three quarter sleeved top, then went her tank top, and then well…then went her bra, hanging around her waist. Good thing it was just her and Na out here in the woods. Hel then unwrapped her bandages, and pulled them off, showing the wound which was stitched but now red and agitated as well as bloody from when she jarred it.
"There!"

The corner of Na'ima's eye twitched at the complaint that referred to her as mom again, but she said nothing this time.
She waited patiently as Hel stripped, gracefully climbing off her horse and standing before her. For now she let it wander idly around the two, it ended up standing to one side of Hel as if blocking her from the view of anyone who could happen upon them.
At the sight of the wound Na'ima blinked. Her sternum? No wonder it was bleeding so badly. It was certainly a testament to the ghoul's strength that she was able to continue to be so boisterous and rowdy without the pain of a sternum injury crippling her. She leaned in and took part of her robe to tenderly wipe away some of the blood so she could get a good luck at the injury, humming thoughtfully. "It will not heal if you keep reopening the wound, you need to relax so your body can recover. I will make your ointment, it is very easy." She made a face at its redness. The ghoul's skin was so dark that for her to be able to notice that color did bother her slightly. "Do you have fresh bandages? I do not approve of you reusing old ones."

Well…today was certainly an interesting day. Hel didn’t know what it was, maybe the fact that she had adjusted her attitude, possibly? But Na’ima seemed to be uh…nicer to her. The Horsewoman could claim science or whatever other bull s**t she wanted…but Hel’s mind was made up already.
“Ah, do not do that!” Hel cried, raising both of her hands to try and stop her from wiping it. “You are going to get your robes bloody!” She puffed out her cheeks as she was too late to stop her from wiping it anyways, and the ghoul released the air out of her cheeks. “Ah…see, that is a problem! I am not fond of ‘taking it easy’…!” But she did have a point…but Hel not being active well…! Unheard of. “Ah, I do not…I leave all of it back in my room…but that is okay! I will just fold the pad over and then cover it with a clean part of the wraps!” She beamed up at her.
“Do not worry, I have suffered worse bleeding wounds than this.”

Na'ima narrowed her eyes at Hel's protest. "I am not wasting precious resources if you are not going to put forth the effort to heal properly."

Hel groaned.
Well played, Na, well played.
“Well of course I want it to heal properly! I am trying to avoid scarring if possible!” Hel pouted. “But resting for as long as I probably should just is not an option!”

Hel groaned again, and then stuffed some fingers into her mouth to muffle anymore sounds of protest she made.
Mot would probably agree with Na. Hell, even Mac would probably agree with her. No fair.
Finally, after a moment:
“Fine.”

Na'ima looked pleased.
Or maybe she was just looking smug.
Either way, she pat her mount's back. "Good, now climb up and I will take you back to wherever it is you live. And then I will make your ointment."

Hel blinked as Na seemed to be offering up her mount for her to ride. Woah. She stared at the horse, while thin, was still pretty majestic as ********. She stared and stared, and then suddenly a wide grin split her lips as she turned back to Na excitedly.
“If I strip off the rest of my clothes I can ride it back naked and be like Lady Godiva!”

Hel snapped her fingers.
“I tried.”
But speaking of…She did go back and replace her bandages and finally put her clothes back on. Finally. Once she was finished, Hel waved a hand a bit. “Ah, it is okay…I will walk back.”

Na'ima raised a brow.
Her mount stood in front of Hel, waiting. If Hel tried to walk around it, the mount would dutifully step in front of her.
A pair of very, very patient horses.

Hel frowned, and stared from Na to the mount. Both conspiring against her. She turned her attention back to Na, and her frown pulled down further. “But if I climb and pull myself up onto the saddle, that will jar my wound more, as opposed to if I stay flat by walking.”
