Well first off everything non pop or country is alright with me. I listen to some rap/hip hop, but most of the songs are about the ammount of jewls in some guys teeth and that I can not stand. Jazz and blues I don't really like, but can deal with.
My favorites are: Post hardcore, aggressive rock, screamo, goth, punk, classical, and some types of metal.

I don't really have a preference of a genre. My playlist ranges from Trivium to Madonna to Rammstein to 10 Years to Sugarcult to Blink 182 to Tool to Aaliyah to A Perfect Circle to Sean Paul. I just listen to whatever I like and I don't really care what anyone thinks of it. I seem to mostly listen to any kinda of rock, except most screamo, emo, thrash, death metal-type stuff. I also don't listen to much rap but I do however have the few choice songs that have like the greastest beat ever (I'm African-American, I can't help it, it's in my blood). I also don't like much pop except things like Sarah Mclachlan, Anna Nalick, that sort. I hate punk-pop though, like Good Charlotte XP. But overall, I'm a pretty open person when it comes to music.

I like many kinds of rock, but my favorite is visual kei. I also like classical, especially Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.

Mainly Industrial and Metal. I also listen to everything else. Except country. Yes, I like rap, the tasteful stuff. I love Indie and Hip-Hop almost as much as those first two, but not really.

I do not usually care about the genre of music, although I do tend to find rap a bit lacking in the musical talent department. I do enjoy country, though not all of it, but some people such as Gretchen Wilson are pretty good, as is Collin Raye. I prefer French rap to English rap, as it has better music and is rather enjoyable to listen to, although they "sing" a bit to quickly to throughly grasp what they are saying the first time. I tend to lean more towards rock of any kind. Screamo, heavy metal, industrial, anything that they world at large considers a sub-genre of rock is usually rather enjoyable. I also like techno.
I do have one negative thing to say about rap (I'm usually very optimistic). I personally don't feel it's trully music. I agree with a quote I once read in someone's profile on another site. Rap is to music as Etch-A-Sketch is to art.
