Crystal approaches another merman.

The attack is strong, but not strong enough. "Whew! I'm exhausted. I'll be coming back for you, mister!" She doges through the crowd out of the battlefield.

Kenzie wanders back to the castle, hoping maybe this time she could hit one. Spotting another mini mermaid. Kenzie takes a shot...

Kenzie's jaw drops in amazement. "I hit it" She squeals with joy. "I got a direct hit!" Kenzie does a little victory dance.


Kenzie: 0
Mermaid: 4/4! That mermaid is down!!! Woo Hoo!!!!

Kenzie looks up to see that her dance has earned her the attention of another mermaid. Excited from her last hit she tries again at this one...

Kenzie throws the algea ball, and misses again. Apparently this mermaid had seen what Kenzie had done to the other one and was so enraged that it attacked her.

Kenzie moved as fast as she could taking shelter behind a statue, but she wasn't fast enough and the mermaid followed her. The chase went on.

Unfortunately Kenzie wasn't fast enough to get away, Kenzie received a vicious jab in her arm. Sending her into the wall. Kenzie managed to squeeze herself into a small crevice where the mermaid couldn't reach her where she managed to assess her wounds.

Kenzie: 1
Mermaid: 0

Oh, just a couple points more...

[EDIT] Right. I shall presume that those four points of damage on an already-damaged merperson just drive it off utterly, and the algae ball didn't ricochet and strike another merperson for the remainder of the damage...which would be pretty cool, but perhaps not entirely likely should it happen often.

Kenzie watches the mermaid nervously, till finally it loses intrest and leaves. Carefully and queitly Kenzie leaves the castle, cradleing her arm to her chest.

Crystal returns to the battlefield feeling energetic again. She immediately seeks out the merman she had been fighting before. "Aha! You're mine now!"

She lands another strong attack! The merman goes down...
