Mmur, so caught up in the return of a large percentage of his family, had been wildly neglecting his duties as a soldier. When the summons came, he nodded rather guiltily and stared at the floor for at least five minutes before answering the call. It wasn't that he thought Medea would miss someone as insignificant as he, the horseman was simply reluctant to leave, afraid to lose all that he had regained if he was not there to keep an eye on it. He had to have faith. The Clans were nearly as strong as they had been before with the added benefit of mistrust and wariness to keep them vigilant. They would not fall to the enemy again. No one would be ripped away a second time.
Sweeping into the area with his customary grin, Mmur bowed to Medea before trotting toward a familiar alchemist. The relative chaos in the area was comforting. So many he knew, living and thriving as he was.
"Hello, Eisheth," he said, testing her name instead of the title he usually bestowed. Mmur followed this greeting with another short bow, his distortion crystal bouncing against his hair as he stood upright. "I hope you have been well."

Others were quickly filtering on in, but this was to be expected. The horsemen were always in on these things together. Beaming at the thought, he turned towards Lifen, waving back to her after catching her smile. As for the others, they were so lively! Tseng was rather happy to see this.

Fai sauntered in behind the others, assuming that the "emergency" was, like usual, alpaca related. He sniffed the air curiously, taking in the smell of burning herbs--his mind rushing as he categorized them and tried to think just WHAT the priestess had been playing with.
"Hello, Mmur," he said as he pulled to a stop next to the other Famine Member. He, himself, was avoiding the brother that he had thought lost with the islands--his brother had yet to find him. Fai was just that good.
Unfortunately, this might ruin that little fact, he thought as he eyed the flames. "Eisheth," he added, nodding at his fellow Alchemist, as well.

A particular sage blustered in, the clink of poison vials muffled by his vast robes. Isi-Ngoma glared at every non-Famine horseman and woman, and began muttering about vital experiments that he was abandoning for one very ungrateful priestess.
What he wouldn't do for Gwerlum's company right about now. Instead, he slid to the priestess' side, rolling up ink-stained sleeves.
Iyari watched her younger sibling with a disapproving eye, but was distracted by a familiar face. Despite the shaaame Senga and Jay were happy to indulge in - though admittedly it was rather hilarious - she managed to spot Eisheth and give her a wave back. She was starting to feel more at ease and nodded to her. "Good to see you doing well. It's been a while. "
Though they were socializing, Iyari cast a look towards the priestess. Her voice lowered to those around her - though she wasn't sure if the barrel-struck Shikoba would hear - "What do you think it is? " She could have called it exciting if she wasn't fearing the worst.
Stranger things had happened after all.

Lan's arrival was met with nothing. A small tilt of her head, she went to those she was familiar with, avoiding the one who she'd like nothing more than to rip the eyes out of and-
No.
No. NONONONONONO.
There was one of them.
One from that hell nightmare that was Mengyao's secret fantasy.
One who's butt she touched.
"Lifen. Kiwi. Jay, Senga. Shaheen." She didn't knwo the red ahired horsewoman but she smiled and gave a small bow all the same.
She did snub Shik though. Because Shik.
Tseng also got a small smile and nod of her head before the noble went to find refuge by Lifen and Kiwi.
She hadn't touched anyone's butt. She was only here to do what was needed. Even if she felt momentously awkward.
Shaheen was actually quite glad for the no butt touching today. She had her butt touched quite enough in the not-real-but-seemed-totally-real world thank you.
Lan got a nod and a smile as well, though the chieftain kept her silence as she had done since arrival.

It was more curiosity than anything else that brought Alva to the tent. He'd heard something was going down, some manner of emergency, and though he doubted whatever had happened would need an artisan's skills, you could never be too careful covering your bases.
He edged in awkwardly and hovered by the door. He wasn't a social butterfly by anyone's stretch of the imagination, and even the plain black robe he'd taken to wearing was pretty far from the ornate conquest garb he'd left their homes in. The main mark of his clan simply remained his gold decorated horns.
Casting his green gaze around the tent, he sought out Lily in the bustle, in case she'd gotten here before him.

Kiwi had been standing there with a broad grin, watching the barrel land first on Jay's head, then get tossed about the gathering of horsemen. The familiar sight of Lifen, Shaheen, and Lan however sobered his smile. It was so good to see them for who they really were, after being caught inside that illusion created by the lost ones. He resisted the urge to barrel them over in a tight hug, and chose the route of a warm smile and knowing nod of his head. "It's wonderful to see you all safe and well."
That was when he noticed Eisheth, and waved back, summoning her over with a delighted grin. "How have you been, Eish??"

Soren was not there one moment, and then he was, as simple as that. A priestess, the Priestess needed their assistance and he was there to serve. There were several familiar faces, many of them near each other and it was them that he approached, looming up behind Lifen and Lan. If Tseng or Kiwi or anyone else around them that he knew glanced his direction he would give them a silent nod of acknowledgement. Otherwise he was waiting for orders.
Lan foldeded her arms into her sleeves a small not to Kiwi as she looked past him to the others gathered. "I am glad of it. The experience was most... unusual to say the least. I would rather forget most of it."
Like the butt touches, the kissing, the fact she BOWED at MENGYAO. If he ever found out she doubted he'd ever let her live it down.
The feeling of someone behind her got a small tilt of her head before she realized who it was. Turning her head (and having to tilt it back even more to look him in the eye), she gave Soren an impassive look. ".......You're doing what he does."
Tall people.

"Hi!" Mmur briefly bowed in Faiyum's direction upon his arrival, greeting the second alchemist with a happy smile. He might have initially been reluctant to show up here today, but it was proving to be just what he needed. It was time to get back to work, and what better way to do so than with a mission from the high priestess.
"So, um, what do you think the problem is?" he asked everyone within earshot, waving at Kiwi as the other Famine horseman approached. He'd seen the smoke and such, but he had no idea what any of it could possibly mean.
"I am glad to see everyone made it safe and sound, also. I hope you are well rested." She offered up to Kiwi, knowing that the four of them had had some . . . terrible rest since the events that unfolded.
A warm smile was awarded to those she could see from the lost Kingdom, mainly Kiwi, Shaheen and Lan, giving the littler woman a content little glance, lightly nudging shoulders with her before looking up and regarding Soren, who was pretty much looming over them like a great death curtain. Giving him a warm welcome in the form of a soft smile and a nod, she turned back and just beamed contently, all ready for whatever Medea had for her. All and all, she was feeling very surrounded. Now if only a certain someone would show up and out-tall them all.
Looking at where Lan had originally peered, she saw the one who she knew to be Bastion. Kind of. Leaning in a bit, she looked down at the little Noble, eyebrows raised, almost as if she was asking "Am I seeing doubles, or is that him?"

Lan's expression was fairly clear to any who might have mastered the art of conquestian stares. 'Yes I believe it is. So if there is to be a swift death let it be mine'.
