Arachne had looked around with barely concealed disdain, a wheeled suitcase trundling along beside her as she walked towards the Demon dorms. She had been given clear directions so that she wouldn't get lost, and on her way she had only looked quickly around her, but when she had, she'd seen what were clearly monster students; she would definately not be spending any time in their company if she could help it.
At her assigned room, she fished out her key and unlocked the door, entering and seeing where she would be living for her school years. It was passable, and she saw that her furniture had been put in, boxes were stacked in a corner with her personal items in. She shut the door behind her, and slowly started to unpack...
A few hours later, she'd managed to get her dorm room into a semblance of her bedroom at home. Obviously she would have to keep it tidy herself, but it meant she would have far more privacy than she did at home. That was, at least, one plus to being at this school. She sat on her bed and pulled out her tarot cards, listlessly doing a reading for herself. Of course she was unfocused as usual, and as she was doing it for herself it wasn't like she could make up a load of fancy rubbish. Arachne flopped back on her bed and looked at the canopy, feeling the prickle of threatening tears. She didn't like to cry, and so rarely allowed herself to do so, and she jammed two fingers against her closed eyes, only taking them away when the threat of tears had gone.
She continued to lie on her bed, and eventually fell into a restless sleep.
