well, a good step is why you are scared. im not about to bash you for it if you dont even know why you are fearful. Im bi and a lot of my friends dont know. Most who found out left cuz they thought it was weird or whatever which can be hurtful. Theres not really anyway for you to get over it except just accepting it. And maybe u do already accept it, in which case just relax and go with the flow. im so horrible about giving advice like this but i just thought i would put my advice and opinion out there. Have you tried talking to friendly people you know that are gay/lesbian? I think that once you interact with them you will find that they are not that different. In time the discomfort should decrease.

Even if you aren't comfortable with gays/lesbians its all right. You are not required to like everybody you meet. Just remember to be polite and respectfull to others.

i have a friend who is gay, but we don't talk all that much.
