Final Phase
The horse boil snorted, "Unhappy? What gave y' that idea?" It sounded like the understatement of the year to the horse monster, but it was enough to help him focus all his frustration into the incoming battle, knowing that there would be one more to face.
The massive teddyweddy that emerged was unlike anything Petro had ever seen. Fangs bared, multiple eyes seemingly aglow in outrage of having its family attacked, the spider legs skittering quickly along the snowy surface.
Petro felt the fangs sink into him, but he only grunted. He knew he would have to work fast in the event there was venom being injected into him. He grabbed the teddyweddy by the nape, held firm, and without any further warning, Petro promptly smashed his forehead into the not-so-minipet's face.
He heard the minipet cry, half of a growl and half of a screech, neither half particularly soft. And the sound made him grin, made him continue smashing and bashing, fully intent on watching the large minipet's face cave in under the assault.
Petro seemed unmindful of the wounds he was sustaining as the teddyweddy clawed and slashed and stabbed at him with its spidery appendages. Even when the minipet stopped moving altogether, the horse boil didn't seem satisfied. Perhaps it was time for Sheridan to intervene?

"Perhaps if you talked--"
The rest of his words were lost, drowned out by sudden explosion of Tro's attack. Okay then... Sheridan watched for a moment, stunned into silence. Tro had always been a strong fighter, but he had never seen him so aggressive, blinded by rage, even after the bear had been defeated.
"Tro. Tro, enough, Tro! What the jack, Tro, stop it!"
He hated those bears as much as anyone else, but he wasn't going to bear them until they were nothing but blood and stuffing.
"ENOUGH TRO!"
The dragon growled, suddenly taking his natural form, then reaching out to grab Petro, taloned hands yanking him away from the bear then wrapping around him in an iron grip. Wings spread, he was in the air, leaping away from the mountain and diving toward the ground with his friend held firmly in his grasp. The growl and force in his grip made it clear this was not over! Petro would talk to him, even if he had to sit on him and tie him to a rock!
