Again, Gene was more than confused. A form changer? Was he a Doppelganger, then, like her? King said the small boy was just a disguise used to deceive - hardly threatening, she snorted mentally. If you have that much power, why not assume the form of a giant monster? That would truly strike terror.
Taking the force of King's lunge, Gene sunk her own claws into the Wolfos before tucking and rolling away. "Quite the poetic description. Tell me, is he like me; a Doppelganger?"

Welping, King jumped back, licking the would wounds the claws that had gotten him. Gene was a most skilled fighter, though she did not look that part. Her question about him though-
A snarl.
"No, do not belittle a race and place it with him. He is evil, pure and simple. He is..." he whispered. "He is Time's Courage. The Hero of the Light." A shiver. "He is out enemy most foul." Crouching he flew forward, fangs seeking flesh.

Well then, this person certainly seemed to disturb King. She'd make sure to not mention him again, or shift into his likeness around the boil. And really, why would she? She'd much rather copy someone like that Sura ghoul she met at Scarentine's than an four foot goof ball.
When he went for the critical bite, Gene took the full brunt of the attack with her forearm. seeing her moment. She shifted her hand from wolf claw to the fist of a possessed suit of armor, and punched him right in between the eyes, effectively making him release his grip.
"You did well, King. Keep on training." She pulled the boil up, and gave him puppy cuddles. "You're a good friend."
