Yeata Zi Also, recently some woman beat her toddler in front of me in the store. That was absolutely horrid.
OK. So I can jump in on child abuse stories! Here's two from my year long stint at a Chuck E. Cheese. ::
Story Number One:: So the cops show up at Chuck E. Cheese. Everyone's trying to figure out what exactly is going on, and calm down all the customers who think something bad might be happening that could effect their kids *which is almost never the case. usually the cops show up because a few rowdy adults but all the people not involved with that family don't have anything to worry about*
So, get this. A woman walked into the restroom to find a woman SLAMMING her two year old daughter against the stall door and telling her to shut up and stop crying. She walked right on out and called the cops. When they arrived the little girl had a huge knot on her head and I believe a black eye. The mother flipped s**t because the cops handed the little girl to the father and told her she COULD not have the kid back and they were taking her in. She insisted that she never did anything to the child, despite there being three witnesses to the abuse including the one who actually called the police.
Story Number Two:: So, the cops get called in. And once again, the customers are freaking out that something may happen to their children and the workers just like knowing what the hell is going on and start asking questions. At the time all I found out was that there was a sixteen or seventeen year old girl up in the sky tubes that refused to come down and it was starting to cause a scene.
The next day I came in to work and asked my manager what exactly was the deal with the girl. So, get this. She was visiting Chuck E. Cheese because she had run away from home and was staying with her Aunt. The girl was being raped by her mother's boyfriend, and had already run away from home once or twice before and the cops had been called on him once to no avail. The mother knew that he was raping her daughter and did nothing about it, so she ran away again. Her aunt decided to take her kid and the girl to Chuck E. Cheese.
Now, one of the friends of the mother's boyfriend saw them there, and called him to say that they found her there. When he came in and she saw him is when she ran up the sky tubes and refused to come down and the cops got called.
These cops, however, did NOT make her go home with the boyfriend and I believe she was able to leave with the aunt. Jesus Christ. I feel bad for that girl.

Death Pop Druddigon Holy s**t just when you think a child's play heaven is safe it's not.I don't know how you guys can deal with this crap D:. Off topic what do they put in that shitty insult of a pizza there? Mostly the place is perfectly safe. But those children, well they're not safe anywhere because it's their parents that are doing the stupid s**t to them and not strangers, you know? But if, say, you take your niece out over there nothing will befall her. 98% of the problems in those stores are caused by the immediate family which is more or less out of the hands of workers. And... honestly.... really low-grade ingredients. C.E.C. pizza is some of the worst tasting pizza I've ever encountered. And our kitchen staff was mostly lazy children who didn't really care about quality control and wouldn't adhere to the rules so our food especially was bad from time to time. Don't know if it ever got better after I left. Pfft they're pizza will never get better as long as kids eat it they don't care rofl

Druddigon Yeata Zi It was all I could do not to yell at the woman. She beat the toddler for the dumbest reason too. He took the lid off of his sippy cup. :/ It's better not to say anything at all. I was in line one time at K mart and a lady behind me hit her kid and yelled at him softly so that not everyone would hear it I did I just gave her a nasty glare.Even do the kid was been selfish I mean, if someone is being horribly mistreated, I am going to call the police on them,. Especially a chiuld. I cannot bare to see a child mistreated.
There's a difference though between yelling at a kid, and beating a kid. You know?
