Ahh sapphires! You're pretty lucky, I think. I love sapphires. XD My aunts are entrusting me with all their aquamarine stuff when they die/get really old. We have our birthdays 3 in a row starting the 23rd. (and I'm the only niece ohoho)

lmao my mom hates her birthstone, it's Emerald. She'd rather have been born in April, so she could have an excuse to get diamonds. xD

I'm not big on the colour blue, especially the shade sapphires come in. I'd have even been ok with rubies being my birthstone, since I love the colour red.

I'd be MAAAAD if I were born in April. I'm one of the only girls I know who doesn't care for diamonds at all. Opals and Pearls are my jewels of choice.

So pretty! I hate my birthstone. I got saddled with Sapphire. My grandmother loves them so half of her jewelry are sapphires and she's like "Oh, I'm giving you all my sapphires." And I appreciate it....but she knows I hate them. >,<

My mom is lucky, she got the opal. Forever jealous of her and her birthday.

I'm September also, but I actually like sapphires. The gemstone is most commonly blue only because that most popular/demanded color but can technically be any color shade except red. [If it is red, it's a ruby. If it isn't red, it's a sapphire.] Sapphires can also be pink-orange, yellow, green, purple or even colorless. There are star sapphires that exhibit a star-like pattern when viewed with a single light source.

I find them more interesting than gemstones [like Rubies] that only have one valid color.

They're super cute, though I'm not sure how often I'd use them. xd Still, gonna do what I failed to do this year and pick them all up.

Looking at the stone colors...I like all of them except my own. Blue Zircon looks weird. xd At least on Gaia it seems to translate into cyan. Which is a color I do enjoy, even if my inventory is rather lacking in it.
