I Found A Sexy 1 HELL YEAH FOOD. My dad has a veggie garden. We grow lettuce, green beans, snow peas, yellow squash, cucumbers, broccoli, and all kinds of peppers. We cook all the time. Food is a huge part of our family culture. We eat meals together every night. On Friday we made tamales together. *0* It's our Christmas tradition Everyone in my family knows how to fish. We live by the Gulf of Mexico so we eat fish a lot. I LOVE FISHING SO MUCH. My dad hunts. In fact, we stuffed the tamales with wild pig meat. It is amazingly delicious. ; U; Fun fact!: I didn't know hunting was taboo until Gaia released that hunting item and some folks freaked out. I always thought it was super normal. Everyone where I live hunts/has relatives who hunt. LOL
FISHING IS GREAT biggrin
I usually go surf casting with my dad.
I always hope we catch a sand shark or two.. They are so tasty.. why anyone would call them pests is beyond me.
As for hunting, I have never been but My family does/did. My granddad got the pelt of the rabbits he shot for dinner over a year made into this amazing fur coat for my grandmother.
I always wanted it >.> but I am too fat to fit it -sigh- |

acn period AliceLoathesWonderland acn period ___● I'm at uni, so I have nowhere to grow food. My parents have a vegetable patch at home where they grow a lot of stuff. My mum got the idea from my grandfather, whose ENTIRE garden is a vegetable patch.
Tonight I ate a cheap pasta sachet meal... I am really livin' it up. sweatdrop My granddad used to have a garden like that. Right about now if he was still alive we'd be munching on fresh sweet corn drenched in butter and sprinkled with salt. My attempts at growing corn doesn't fair well.
mmm straw berriees!
We had 30 plants but only have 25 now. -drools- So much yum |

Ooooooh I LOVE fur. It is too hot to wear it down here though. LOL Did she know he was saving the pelts or was it a surprise? XD That's sort of romantic to me!
Edit: I've never eaten sand shark! What kind of texture does the meat have? |

What kind of texture does the meat have?
It's not firm enough to fry in a pan without it falling apart, unless you do it whole.
It is great for battered fish. So yum <3
It's very white meat has a nice soft taste little veinage in the meat.
I like baking it and having it with salad.
I prefer it over red cod or snapper. |

Fruit is delicious! I bought a massive melon that weighs more than my dog, I don't have a knife big enough to cut into it...need to find axe! |

I think Americans call it a zucchini? I'm not sure...maybe that's a marrow. Someone told me once America doesn't have parsnips, is that true?
Tomatoes are like nearly £2 ($3) a pack which isn't much but when carrots are like 15p it's a lot in comparison. |
