He was on her side? o.O maybe he was playing devil's advocate.

i wondered where she'd learned stuff from so i asked if she was in a coven and she wouldnt answer and i said i wasnt asking for details just a yes/no and she said no that's too personal and then tall came in and said yeah that's too personal and then she gave some apparently standard refusal line thingy and then the thing kinda tapered off
jc came in to watch and told me i was pushing it too much and to drop it, even when i asked what authors shed read which she wouldnt answer either

so i'm not going to argue it anymore neutral she thinks its ancient and gardner didnt invent it and makes christian comparisons when pushed so whatever.

Ecclectic Neo Pagans with Pan-Eurasian influences.
for some reason, the pan-eurasian influence doesn't sit right. i can't put my finger on it right now, but i think it's because it leads to the idea that anything in the two continents can be worshipped in public rites. which most definitely isn't the case.

But it drew on Indo European beliefs. That makes it Pan eurasian.

The point they are making is that there are no Druids anymore. They were the Cultural Guardians of the Priesthood, Law and Lore of the Celtic peoples. Last I checked, there was no position such as that left within the British Isles.

Hey honey lighten up....I was being funny and I knew the point that was being made....

Going on that score there are no witches either given as they bare little resemblance to what they once were. Things change with society, as have themeaning of Druids. Yep, they're not as they once were, but nither are Pagans, hence the name Neo Pagans. They should be really Neo Druids, because that's what they are.

But nuff on that...I needs me bed....good night

Contested.
There are witch craft traditions that survived. They will admit they have altered their ways as society changed, but they altered their ways. Someone did not come along, look at the stories of their people and say "I want to be that".

In addition to Reagun's contest, I also point out that a practice is not limited to a given tradition.

Except, one is an inaccurate assertion- and last I checked, Hinduism is very much a living tradition that Pre-dates Christendom.

And not all of us are Neo-pagans.

Why do you assume Blue is American, exactly? She's actually Irish, as is Reagun.
