Aww I'm sorry some idiot had to rage at you for getting announcements. Personally I love them because they give lots of information normally and they can do alot of good like highlight things and get those who lurk to read something without actually having to post, but still keep ahead of information. Like was said if you don't want the notification then turn it off. I like getting them and I just click on it and then read the announcement at my own leisure. Some people need to really pay attention to the settings page here. They can opt out of alot of things. *hugs you*

Option number 1: Change their settings, so they don't get the announcements in their inbox or email.

or....

Option Number 2: They can gtfo of this guild.

I like announcements. It's something worth reading because you know it was made with much effort (or not), but it is very much worth reading. Makes me feel connected to the guild. It also shows that the guild is very much active and wants to reach out to its members. smile I love it. Anyone who said or complained about it should just turn their notifications off.
