My surname is Cox, I think that it has something to do with rooster keeping back in olden times, I learned that in High School...

As for ancestry I have no idea about my mothers side, as far as I know it is purely British. My fathers side is different. I know that my great grandparents were Irish Gypsies, with the traditional horse and cart thingy.
