Sorry I haven't posted. I've given up for a while due to the fact that these pills I'm on not only cause me to eat quite a bit (which I'm trying to eat healthy things) but also caused me to gain over 10 pounds of water weight. I'm struggling with doctors and junk at the moment, and want to get this water weight off before I seriously attack dieting again.

Also, new goal:
lose 25-30 pounds by mid-August. So my wedding anniversary won't blow due to my self disgust.

Continued update:

So I gained 15 pounds of water weight due to these pills. And my doctor lied to me yet again rolleyes . So far I've lost most of the gained weight, but am still retaining around 3-5 pounds of water and mostly in my face, the one place I'm extremely self-conscious about. The 10th I take my last dose, after that hopefully this water will GTFO and I can get back to my diet. Eating less is difficult when pills your on make you hungry. sad

So, yeah, one more week and I'll be back at it. biggrin

Eh, better, still not 100% gone, but it is getting there.

Hey there, I hope you're doing ok. Extra weight is horrible when it comes from pills you have to take, but sometimes it has to be done. Sometimes drinking more water helps flush water out of your body, (Strange logic but it works).

You're doing great, even if you hold a fluctuating weight between 15-20 lbs of your current weight, you can still come back to it. I sort of stopped coming here about year ago and have pretty much maintained one weight for most of it (about 15 lbs higher than when I left (winter!) and now am back. You can always come back to losing weight.
