It really depends on what stage you are talking about. When you say, what is your favorite movie. My list for age 0 to 10 in no particular order would be:
Ghostbusters 1 Ghostbusters 2 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 Ferngully Sleeping Beauty The Little Mermaid
In my teens, I became interested in Horror Movies. Among my favorites are.
The Freddy Crugar Movie Series The Jason Vorhize Movie Series Phantasm House
Right now, I still occasionally watch the type of movies I did as a Pre-teen. I'm still interested in Horror Movies. Though, there are new titles out there like Silent Hill, The Grudge etc etc. If I had to recommend a few movies now a days. That would probably be great for everyone. I would have to say:
Anything with Jack Nickelson in it. Anything with Sir. Sean Connery in it. The Bucket List Anything with Steve Martin in it. Nothing Left tot Loose Just about anything with Adam Sandler. Just about anything with Jim Carrey. Anything with Eddy Murphy in it. Anything with Morgan Freeman in it. Remember the Titans. Anything with Denzel Washington. Anything with Nicholas Cage in it.
There are a number of other actors. That are pretty much guaranteed to be in a good movie. The thing you want to look for. Is an actor that actually prides themselves on quality. Like, Sean Connery absolutely refuses. To be in any movie. That he does not like. That is his active stance and has stuck to it for years.
The Rock, I've heard people say this movie. Is proof that Michael Bay isn't horrible as a Director. I say, you just can't mess up a movie with Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage. You could have the absolute worst script in the world. Those two would find a way to make it work. Or, they would not be in the movie.
I said mostly anything made by Jim Carry and Adam Sandler. Because they are into a sort of goofy sort of comedy. They are both quality actors. Though, there work sometimes suffers. There are some pretty so so movies I've seen the two of those actors in. Remember The Cable Guy -Jim Carry?
