dreaming_mouse I'd love to know your views on plastic surgery xd I think theres nothing wrong with tats and piercings - at the end of the day it's your body so do what the hell you want with it. Ooh.
I had a debate about that with someone on MSN a bit ago. I don't like it, it makes me cringe and its prevalence on television is horrifying.
However I don't think any less of people who opt for it. It's just one of those things, people have always adorned and altered their body as they see fit and so really, there's nothing wrong with plastic surgery in itself.
I only oppose it if people enter into it without understanding the risk, or on flawed premises. Oh, and there's no way the state should pay for cosmetic surgery unless there are quite compelling reasons.

Im too young for a tattoo - which is just as well, im too chicken s**t to get one lol but ideally i want a tribal design on my lower back and a blacked out lizard or wiccan star on my right arm. as for piercings, id like a stud through my chin (well, lower lip) but im not going to get it as - in old age i dont want a gaping hole through my face. as for plastic surgery - i think its disgusting. i like my body the way it is and certainly wouldnt get a boob job - breasts are there for feeding your babies not for men to oggle at.

The survey of 2,000 people from all over the country - the largest of its kind in Britain - revealed a growing fondness among the young for saying "veycation", and for stressing the first syllable in "princess" rather than the latter. Similar to male peacocks' plumage, or something. The reason (most) men find (reasonably) large breasts attractive is because they indicate fertility. On another note, I really hate cleavage-exposing tops. They just cause unnecessary awkwardness.

Second post, sorry. Should've edited the previous, but hey.
To actually answer the debate concerning plastic surgery.
I have no problem with people who want to have their face/breasts/buttocks/fat rearranged/enlarged/removed, providing they pay for it themselves, and know the risks etc. I wouldn't do it myself, though. I'm too risk averse, and besides, the idea is a bit...eeeugh. As it were. Plastic surgery in the case of rectifying mutilations or deformities is a very different kettle of fish, though. I believe there is a very strong case for NHS funding there.

okay but scientifically - they are there for the early stages of feeding after birth for your offspring. and i don't see why guys like large breasts (even though i have read your point.) i mean - i have a boyfriend and he's okay with the size of my breasts - and given my age and my genes (lol) thats kinda small, lol

Girls who'd kill for an arse like mine need their head checked, it's an eclipse - nothing sexy about it.

Some of the guys in the year above apparently put some top 10 lists up on the prefect board. Breasts and bums. xd I didn't see it as they took it down incase a teacher saw it but apparently the girl with no.1 breasts was fairly medium. I think there may have been some large ones further down the list but I'm only going by what someone said in band.
And I say Ooooo-gull.
On plastic surgery if you really want to use your money that way then fine, but no thanks.
