When I skank I go right arm + left leg then right arm + left leg and it's fun.

Sometimes when I'm just skanking around my house I start punching my hands up with the beat but I've never done that at a show.... I'd probably hit someone or get odd looks or something ninja

I don't lean that much (that I know of) but my elbows and knees sure bend and I'll even hop around if the song really hits me. The rhythm at which I do it changes with the song too though, so it's kinda different and hard to explain. I think "skank+swing", like Electric Uncle Akuma said, is my deal biggrin

it depends on the beat. usually i change styles in the middle of it usually. i go from left leg/left arm, to right leg/right arm and i kinda twist my head from side to side. otherwise i go left/right to right/left (arm/leg). i usually kick out my legs and bend my arms.

oh my god. it was so funny, i was at a wedding reception and my sister kept on asking me to dance (i dont really like dancing). she wouldnt stop so i got out on the dance floor and started skanking. i was totally like, joke-thrashing in this frilly strapless dress. people were giving me really weird looks after. god i wish i had that on film....

I actually got bored today in my CAD class and I was done with my drafts so I opened the computer animation program and I made a model of a guy skanking. I'll have to send it to myself and then post it up on here. Suprisingly, It turned out pretty good.

I actually got bored today in my CAD class and I was done with my drafts so I opened the computer animation program and I made a model of a guy skanking. I'll have to send it to myself and then post it up on here. Suprisingly, It turned out pretty good.

I would say that I like to think that I have a sweet skankin' style-y goin on.

Basically, I'm all about the right arm / left knee up, rotate hips and bring up left arm / right knee, with bent knees and balled fists. Faster or slower beat, accordingly, of course.

That's my fav, but I can get into going slower with a bent back. It's all about keeping the beat, tho.

Before I post it, I'd just like to say this is my first time ever using this program and had little to no knowledge of what I was doing and spent 45 minutes doing this. I tried my best to make it as accurate as I could... I don't think I did that great of a job... With that said... Here it is:
