it depends on a lot of things. normally you should only be losing 1-2 lbs a week, unless you hit a plateau or something. but, just weigh yourself once a week.

i don't have a scale at my house, so i find that measuring waist inches, or even gauging how well my jeans fit is a good indicator as well. biggrin

Hey look, another coffee-drinker biggrin
And yay for Green Tea!

I think it's lovely the way you're sticking to natural foods.

You're doing very well!

Although (and excuse me for saying this because I consider myself to be one of the least knowledgeable people when it comes to food and health), but to me it looks as if you didn't eat enough yesterday.

Though the other days seem great and I'm wondering if it's just a one-off thing, or if you just woke late or something.

Thanks, I usually wake up late, like around 10 A.M so a cup of coffee will hold me over until lunch time.

I eat but when I feel full I don't eat anymore until I'm hungry, I get full fast...
I think I have a small stomach or something.

i don't think you're eating nearly enough. i added up all your totals, & even with creamer/sugar in your coffee, a large portion of lasagne, & a large portion of raisins, it's still not even 1000 calories. that's not good for you. confused

You NEED to add some sort of breakfast food. Even just grab a granola bar and fruit, or a bowl of cereal. Or eat your 'lunch' earlier and add an extra snack or two throughout the day. I'm only barely 5'1 and 103 lbs, and I still need to eat at least 1300 calories a day [that's not counting if I exercise or something] in order to be healthy. *nodnod*

Also, a banana should not be a meal. That's a snack. Bananas are only 90 calories each, and meals should be at least something like 200+ calories. Your body needs calories in order to function properly. It'll hold on to your fat and actually start eating at your muscles instead. I learned that the hard way. gonk I'd suggest at least having a salad with light dressing and piece of bread for lunch, and have the banana for breakfast with a small bowl of cereal or toast or oatmeal or whatever. Or have two bananas. Just make sure you get a healthy amount of calories so your body can actually work to burn fat.

I'm going to ditto a few others here and say that I'm worried about how low your intake is. When it comes to weight loss, less is not necessarily better. When you drop below a certain threshold, your body enters starvation mode and is going to be doing everything it can to NOT burn off any fat and your weight loss efforts are going to slow down and eventually stop completely.

I'm also not seeing a lot of protein. Assuming that your garden sandwich entries involve a veggie burger or something and that your lasagna had some cheese in it, that's only five total protein servings over the course of about four days and two of those servings are things you either ate begrudgingly or seem to view as an indulgence that you shouldn't have. You have to have protein. If you continuously skimp on it, your body will take it from your muscles. When that happens, you have less muscle tissue to burn calories which means your metabolism is going to plummet even more. (Less muscle also means that you're going to look squishier even if you do lose weight.)

If it's hard for you to eat larger meals because you get full too quickly, then looking for foods which are more calorie dense. Have a tablespoon of peanut butter with your banana in the morning or something like that. Remember that fat is not the enemy and that you need a certain amount of each day to absorb certain nutrients and allow your body to function. Healthy fats also keep your skin, hair, and nails healthy.
