Cheater Peng won it, So....
Even if the final match wasn't cheated, It's questionable how he got there.

Cheng likes to get very lucky with his cards if you know what I mean. Seriously though like Freed and a few others have said he's a cheater. My bet is he cheated to the top tables there, and for the final match Harris drew crap while Cheng pulled his usual good hands.
I guess it's nice that Infernity didn't sweep the event though. Saber, and Infernity though are probably going to be the meta for awhile. DandyWarrior, and Blackwing falling wasn't surprising to me at all though.
Prize cards are a pain in the rear. Here I was wanting me some darklords; but nope, now I have to go top 8 a whole bunch of these things.
As a whole I figure the event was ok. Coverage as usual was ok. Still frustrating they don't get the deck list up for all the featured decks. Oh well. Infernity will be king, X-Saber the knight, and everything else fancily dressed pawns.

I doubt the guy cheated, it would be extremly hard to get away with cheating at the top table, he might have cheated in previous duels though. I think the biggest reason he won was Harris drew horribly.

I agree.
Cheng probably did cheat to get to the top, but the final duel was all luck.
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

And xsabers are garbage, if you actually see the deck played by a good player you'll notice how slow the deck really is compaired to the rest of the meta.

Freed the Benevolent To the members here who have looked at Lightsworn, Blackwings, Infernity, etc., and sought THOSE decks as people who only play to win, don't be fooled.
What you should know, is that it was not Machinas that won this grand event. It was Peter Cheng, AKA "Cheater Peter Cheng".
This person is well-known in the Tri-State, Pennsylvania area as one of the worst people in this game, not in skill, but in competition. Previously to the YCS, Peter Cheng has been disqualified, without prize, the past 3 Shonen Jump Championships he has attended, and the past 4 Regionals in the PA area alone. This is not something to look at in saying the deck is great, but the disappointment of how the tournament had really been won.
Of the top 32 decks, only two were Machina, and top 32 is where they both would have stayed if the player hadn't been Cheater Peter Cheng. Wait-wait-wait... He has a record like that and he's been allowed to participate in future events? What the hell is Konami thinking!?

I've never really seen it played by anyone better than a few guys at my local.
