I felt kinda old when my friend's 12 year old saw my Nirvana t-shirt, and said 'Oh wow, cool. You like classic rock too?'
I died a little inside. -_- lol.

When you find the kitchenware that your family has always used since you remember in an Antique Store. We found some of my mom's Corningware and Tupperware sets there!

When you get asked constantly if you have kids. When you stop getting carded for alcohol and cigarettes.(i can count on one hand how many times I've been carded for alcohol)

I was just responding to "knowing" I'm old (which my daughter reminds me of every day). Doesn't mean I stop having fun. You shouldn't either. heart

My first post as a member - so hello. The quickest thing that will make me feel my age is my 10 year old daughter who is as tall as me, can wear my clothes and will probably be wearing a bigger bra size than me in a few months burning_eyes

When I hear the um-teenth re-mix of a tune that I grew up with on the radio, and most of the younger generation thinks I'm full of it when I tell them that it had been done before. And darned if I can remember who recorded it first. Anyone for a senior moment? When 'joining a movement' means chasing people out of the bathroom instead of participating in some great, glorious cause. When I'm still complaining that they don't let me smoke in the hospital anymore. When I have to grab some poor dumb kid off the street to teach me how to run my VCR/DVD player, and come to find out that was already out-moded long before. And, the ever popular, "You were there???".
However... I sure do get a kick out of it when the kid's friends mistake me for a new friend, because they didn't know that I was... old. Still keeping up, if barely.
Anon. Mosh
