"Okay then." Gwen replied as she began to follow after him, she walked a bit behind him, still not fully trusting this man. Hell, she just met the guy after all. She mainly just wanted a shower and a place to crash for the night. If only just that.

They reached the inn and Alex held the door for her as he entered. He looked around quickly and was sure that nobody was here while he was out.

As Gwen entered, she allowed herself the pleasure of looking around the place she would be staying. "Nice place." She mused with a light smile and nod. She then glanced over to Alex. "Am I supposed to check in somewhere or something? It's been awhile since I did this... Usually, my family doesn't like to stay indoors, so this is new for me..."

"Me neither. Your my first guest." He chuckled and looked at the check-in desk and the book on it. "Just sign your name in that book and you'll be good." He said with a nod. "On the bright side, you get your pick of all the rooms here."

"Oh really? That's cool then!" Gwen exclaimed with somewhat of a smile. She then walked over to the desk and signed her name into it. After doing so, she looked back to him. "Okay then, so will you show me to my room please?"

"But of course." He nodded and grabbed a key from behind the desk. "Right this way." Alex smiled and started down a hall.

"Well my parents built this place when I was three... so 15 years." He said as his tail swayed behind him. He turned and headed upstairs.

"Oh wow, that's a long time." Gwen mused as she noticed his tail. Finding it both a bit odd, but still amusing, she smirked. "My family and I live in the forest, we're nymphs. So we just go wherever the winds takes us and all that..."

Reaching the top of the stairs he turned a corner and walked down another hall way. "Yeah, but it's peaceful here." He smiled. "So is the rest of your family coming too then?"

"Uhhh," Gwen began as she rubbed the back of her neck continuously. "Actually, I have no idea where they are. We got separated in the forest during that heavy storm not too long ago. And since my kind has to travel requently, I'm just trying to search my way to find them."

"Oohh..." He looked down a little. "Well, you're welcome to stay here as long as you wish, and if you need any help trying to find them feel free to ask." He said stopped at one of the doors. He opened it up and handed her the key. "For now though, welcome to your room."

"Thank you. I would take you up on that offer, actually." Gwen said as she flashed him a quick smile. At the offered room, she walked in and examined it quickly. "I like it, it's very beautiful. Thank you Alex."
