I think when he says no rules, but no more than 60 cards, you can have a 5 card exodia deck, or use 3 of any legal card (legal meaning playable in traditional format as well as advanced). somehting like that maybe.
The "no restrictions" format alone just means if I join then I'll win.pretty much. if you make it thru that is. it's still all in fun. I just like shaking stuff up cuz i know what i am doing when it comes to putting stuff together. RandallTheGreenGeek this is why you leave the creation of tournaments to those who actually know what they're doing. i been putting together concerts, events, and promotional stuff in the music business for 7 years...IRL i am insulted with that comment. but Online i am ignoring it.

"What he means is that he organizes music events trying to show he has some organizational skills. I am far from a fan of what ever group this is... ICP!! thats it I think. It would be nice if common sense were so common.
To start from your statement of it meaning no banned list, that would be why he said there were no restrictions as well.
If you had also read when I first posted in this thread, I did ask. That's where the stupid wrestling comparison came into play.
I can only conclude that it was just some stupid thing to say for show, and that there's no actual "no rules". Just to make it look good. Pointless, and therefore the guy has no clue as to what he's doing.

It's also easier to get answers out of people when you are not insulting them. half right. i am still keepin' it "3 copies each" if u wanna have 3 of the same card in a deck. and exoida is the only card banned. just like last years. but the dude with the complants..i think he's just still drunk off the kool-aid LOTB/JH threw at gaia saying "all juggalos worship hitler and kill people for real" type crap. so i am ingoreing his insults. cuz it's the bloody internet.

Unlike all of you, I don't simply jump into it and say "I'll play", when there's clearly error in the layout of this event.ok i'll clear it up. rd 1: advanced format scramble where you duel for points. 2 points for a victory. if you win 3 in a row you get an attional 3 points upon that undefeated 3rd victory. losers lose a point. 3 loses in a row and you lose 3 points. top 8 advance to round 2 and anybody can challenge anyone more than once. rd 2: traditional format win to advance matchups top 8 will go in randomized brackets where you can choose to ether duel once with that person or go with the 2 outta 3 duels. 4 winners advance rd 3: advanced format for one duel. traditional format for the other. top 4 will duel eachother in the simi finals where you can choose to ether duel once with that person or go with the 2 outta 3 duels. top 2 advances. final rd: anything goes no rules foremat [All 5 Pieces of Exodia are banned.] where both the last 2 duelist's left will battle for the championship plus the winning prize. did that clear anything?
