mcr_raven Should James Dewees take over the drums, since we already know the guy? His band was doing their farewell tour last I heard, so maybe. Although he was only doing the piano stuff for them on TBP tour...can he play drums?

I think it'd be awesome if James took over

Maybe they'll ask him to do drums for them...They already know him, and they get along well with him, so maybe they'll go with James.

mcr_raven I'm starting to get annoyed with the people on the dot com site, for being douche bags and pissy. I saw one comment saying Bob doesn't deserve to be in any band and should go back working for Disney Land. evil Oooh. I could punch those people in the ******** faces. Because anybody who puts s**t like that on there is just a ********' tweenie who doesn't know what the ******** they're talking about and need to get the ******** over themselves. Now I'm pissed off.
@mikeysguardian07: He had to have surgery because he gets cists on his wrists from drumming non-stop. But yeah, that could've had something to do with it.
Hmm...he might be a probable selection, but because he drums for LeATHERMOUTH, would he be willing to do it? Not everyone is comfortable doing two projects.
On top of that, as good as a drummer as he is, the band is probably going to want to pick someone that not only fulfills what they need done, but will also be a reasonable pick to replace Bob in the fans eyes, thus keeping them from being little bitches and whining about the 'new drummer' all the time.

I like the way you stay neutral, and even though many people can do two projects, I see your reasoning. You should really be in my philosophy class during discussions...

Stupid question: okay i heard something about Gerard halting recording because of Bob being gone and the fact that volume 1 of Umbrella Academy is becoming a movie and he has been asked to be affiliated as much as possible.
Fact or Fiction?

It's not a stupid question. Though, I couldn't tell you the answer. I havn't heard anything about it. All I know is that the movie is scheduled sometime around 2011 or 2012.
Uhm, as far as the record goes, it was supposed to come out in March last I heard, so obviously it's a little behind. I don't think they halted recording, though, because on their website Frank had said in his last post that they were back in the studio.
But, I could be wrong.
@mikeysguardian07: Thank you. I'm very flattered. haha. c:
@date_with_death_row99: love your signature, hahaha.

I remember checking mychemicalromance.com and thinking that it was so random. I didn't expcet it at all.
But I'm going to make myself believe that Bob couldn't play because of his wrist.

tbh, i'm not bothered by this at all. sad to say so, i'll miss bob, sure, but it's not the end of the world, mcr did it without matt, they can do it without bob.
besides, i always felt he never really tried to be a part of mcr, so. yeah. i love bob, he's awesome. but mcr can do it without him, and he can do it without them.

i think it's sad that he left but he most likely didn't care for the fame. he was always backstage and them was suddenly famous. besides i wasn't the first drummer, they can find a new one they had to before.
