Moni was surprised by the close proximity, smiling some and surprising both himself and the spirit by hugging him Then he noticed that the forest was quiet, and that the birds were beginning to fly. He got up and motioned for Fryma to come too, looking nervous. He followed the birds since he knew they would want to be somewhere safe.

Fryma followed, slightly amused. Nothing in the forest would hurt Fryma or, by extension, Moni. As long as Moni was with the spirit, that is. Fryma took Moni's hand and led him to another, larger clearing. "This is a safe spot for you. No animal will hurt you as long as you are either with me or in this clearing. You are a most unique human, Moni," he added softly.

Moni blushed as the other took his hand, following him obediently. It was always best to obey a sprit, especially on their land. Once in the clearing, he looked around in awe, beautiful flowers growing everywhere and enrapturing him with their scent.

Fryma chuckled, his heart already captured by this strange, silent boy. "You may stay as long as you like."

Moni turned and smiled gratefully, hugging him and then going to look around, seeing a few birds, and even a rabbit. He gently petted its soft fur, watching its little pink nose wiggle. Rabbits were pretty hard to find out in the outer forest. He continued petting it, sitting down and holding it in his lap while it stayed still, obviously enjoying the attention.

Fryma smiled and silently slipped away. He had some business to attend to elsewhere in the forest. Moni would be fine until he got back; there were others to watch over the boy until Fryma got back.

Moni continued petting the rabbit until it hopped out of his lap, nuzzling him in thanks before bounding off to eat some clover. He smiled as he watched it, feeling warm and content here. This place was really nice, and it felt welcoming.

Fryma came back about thirty minutes later. "The sun is beginning to set. Is it okay for you to be here this late? I know many humans have an aversion to the night."

Moni tensed, looking up at the sky. Oh no! he'd lost track of time! Even if he made it to the village unharmed, it would be nighttime, and it wouldn't be safe for him at night. He would have to stay here for the night. He shook his head, again finding some rocks. 'I'll have to spend the night... I'm sorry...' He wrote, looking at him apologetically.

Fryma smiled kindly. "There's nothing to worry about. Follow me." Fryma led him to a tree house. "You may stay here tonight."

Moni followed him, feeling guilty for imposing on the spirit.He saw the tree house and smiled in wonder, carefully going in and looking around. He noticed Fyrma come in and beamed happily. This place was amazing!

"There's a bed through here. Please, make yourself at home. And don't worry. You'll be safe and warm in here."

Moni nodded and soon found the bed, seeing it covered in goose feather down, probably from places where they nested and molted. He nestled down among the feathers and was soon asleep, smiling some and curled up tightly, like an egg. ((night))

Fryma smiled and left to sit beside the river. He would keep watch over his personal clearing and the strange human tonight.

Moni woke up early the next morning, seeing the soft downy feathers around him and remembering where he was. He yawned quietly as he sat up, picking the feathers out of his hair and off of his clothes as he got up. He actually felt refreshed, more so than when he slept in his own bed. He shrugged it off and just took it as the bed being more comfortable and made for a spirit's comfort. He was soon feather-free and came out, smiling at the sunset.
