Lightsworn takes a serious hit this season alongside minor hits towards RFG decks, DARK decks, and Blackwings, and anti-meta.

Though it looks like Demise and Aggro / Swarm is gonna be making a comeback, especially in the case of Demise, seeing as there's all that fresh new ritual support available now.

Also, I completely understand why Necro Gardna and Burial from a Different Dimension were brought down to 1. That is a NASTY combo those two have together. Not good at all.

Though because it's still there, it can still be used on Necro, Plaguespreader, and some other removal material.

I daresay I'm surprised that nothing made it to the banlist, seeing as the changing of the seasons typically indicates changing-in, changing-out of cards on the banlist, like the Call of the Haunted <-> Monster Reborn <-> Premature Burial cycle.

My prediction: Lightsworn's going to settle down at Tier 2 for a while, seeing as most of its best cards got limited. Blackwings aren't really gonna take much of a hit from this, so they'll still be on top. Glads weren't even phased by this new list, Zombies were only minorly crippled by the limitation of Mezuki. There's always replacements for cards like that.

Demise will come back to Tier 2, maybe even abuse its new ritual support and take on the Tier 1 slot. Other than that, machines might be making a comeback too. 2 Cyber Dragons means that Chimeratech and the like are gonna be climbing back up the ladder. Either Tier 2-3, at least in the early season.

But as Infernities weren't touched with this banlist, you can expect them to dominate in the coming months, taking Lightsworn's place on the Tier 1 list.
