I have no idea, honestly. Researchers are now coming out saying that an "overweight" BMI doesn't necessarily mean you're unhealthy, nor does a "normal" one mean you're healthy.

The internet just told me that I'm 24.4, which is technically not even overweight, but I call bull. I definitely need to lose weight and get in better shape.

I never really cared about numbers, more how I looked.

It sounds like we have really similar bodies! (BMI wise at least.) You're a little shorter, but that's it.

I need luck for the next part of losing weight... I've never been able to get under 140lbs.

I love using BMI. Otherwise I have to say "I'm almost 160 pounds BUT I'm 5'11" " I am a healthy 22

wow I'm one of the highest on here 41 via the wii fit. I'm 5ft 2in and 232/233 lbs, my goal is to be 170.. i dunno what the bmi for that is.

I'm 5' 1" and my BMI is a shocking 44.2, obese (234lbs). I want to be 33.1, still obese (I used to be 175lbs). And according to the calculator I found, I would have to be 24.6 (130lbs) to be considered "normal weight". Oh my god, that's ******** up, I'd have to be a toothpick! ******** society and their "perfect woman" image! stressed

I'd like to lose 40lbs or so. It says a healthy weight for my height and age is between 120 and 161lbs. i'm about 165-170, so I think about 130 would be good.

23.4 top range of normal. I don't really go by bmi though. I mean, I have this huge layer of fat right around my belly, that is definitely not healthy because I hadn't been eating right before I started losing weight, so I don't know. Sometimes I overthink the numbers and I'm trying not to do that.

24. something or other. Technically "normal" weight but I want to be trim and toned so that 24 is going to have to drop a few digits. :] Good Luck to all of you. And to those of you who think reaching "normal" is impossible or too far out of reach smile just know that I had a BMI of around 35 at one point in my life. I got from 35 to around 26 by just taking a good 30 minute power walk per day from my school to the library. =3 If I can do it so can you.
