i've been in this guild since my first account dragoranos, to gawdkiller, now to fresh porn. And I have to say I agree on several factors. Yes jevan, you are a world class arrogant p***k whom i have no respect for. you ban people for the simple reason they piss you off or challenge your opinions, when in fact, you are absolutely WRONG. Sure jazz deserved a ban or 2 but hell... the last ban was pure bullshit. He was right. I have seen not a few, but DOZENS of people litterally stop posting or leave entirely for reasons generally caused by you, Jevan. You have a superiority complex this guild does not need in the slightest. Grow up. So go ahead. Ban people for speaking their minds and useing their constitutional rights, and FYI they do apply here since GAIA INC. started and is located in california, U.S.A..

Let's see if I understand this...
You think I'm imagining opposing guilds when you and the other opposing people here recently created one, along with older guilds which died years ago when YDoG was much smaller made by other unhappy crew members.
Secondly in a similar matter I never mentioned all guilds, I simply stated a few guilds referring to those I happen to know where created to oppose me.
As for buffers between players I am trying to set up a Pro League which still needs some tweaking, okay a lot of tweaking. As for absolute barriers which we have tried in the past, I oppose them. All it does is separate everyone and diminish discussion.
As for banning and demoting, they were all done with reason. Seig or Zeig now has been insulting other members for years and was banned due to repeatedly ignoring direct warnings on spaming in a topic. The crew member demoted due to his lack of work and his conflicting ideas of how severely to treat beginners also had official warnings about his behaviour of which at least one is recorded.
As for how good the guild is I would like to say that no one can effectively argue on this as despite their objections to me they are still here, some even after being banned.
Lastly I shall put this very clearly as despite my lack of insults to you which you have shown me...
IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY GUILD AND YOU ARE GOING TO ATTACK ME RATHER THAN HELP THE GUILD THEN QUIT THIS GUILD NOW
That is all.

gaminator14 Mr.President i agree with everybody that has posted in this thread except for what fighter_guy said that you were a you know what. Besides you are one of the best warriors i have have ever faced and that is something to be proud of. you have assembled some of the greatest soldiers in the world, and assembled one of the hugest armys(guilds) in the entire site just know that i am a loyal man of my word and will serve you until my weapon of mass destruction(dueling prowess or deck which ever one you prefer) falls on the battlefield(duel mat) good day sir. i didnt say hes a p***k .. im just saying the people i play with ... one being matt .. who has had several fights with jevan in the past

Have you ever heard of guild competition? These young people on Gaia want to try to lead a guild and think they can do better than those that have that experience in leadership. Personally, I think they want to try to make a guild that can rival this one more easily. Slight problem, young-age guild owners equals inexperienced kids running something that can come back and bite them. Yes, I know I haven't been on much. I'm just stating what I think. Keep up the work, Jevan. Last I checked, you're much older and smarter than those tarnishing the guild's good name.

My guild that I started is not a personal attack. It's something myself and several other former and current members are trying to establish not as a rival guild but as another place to grow. I never stated full barriers. Really just another sub forum. A casual and a competitive one. Even that would make a worlds worth of difference. Or like my guild recommended to mark Traditional or Advanced in your thread title. Simple things like this make it so much easier to work with what people want. I had one warning. Zeig last ban was indeed heavily biased. I'm not trying to say he never broke the rules, but his last one was biased. As for our preferred levels of severity I've worked at mine since the start and it never caused problem. As for my inactivity, it was December. Holiday times, between finals, family, and my personal life, I was a bit to busy to hop on and write articles. As you can see though I was active in the deck database helping people, and I did do a Deck of the Month for January already. I'm not attacking you. I'm merely stating my view and opinion on how the guild is run. I have no idea if our views will ever match but I can say I mean no insult to the guild. Sure it's not the best, sure it might not be what I want ti to be, but I'm here and I do help. So if you want me gone I'll leave; but until then I'll be hopping between your guild and building up mine. Next time feel free to name my name.

In all honesty, I don't give a damn if you run this place well or not. I'm a member on another Yugioh guild on Gaia (dunno the name off the top of my mind, but if I remember correctly, "Teh_Teal" or something like that is the creator. Point is, the guild is practically dead. I came here looking for a good, active guild, and as I've seen so far, the members seem friendly enough, and active enough. I haven't played in a long time, and there are members who can basically help me get back into the hang of the game.
Whether you're a "p***k" or not I can't say as I haven't been here long enough to know, but, I'm here in THIS guild now, and I plan to stay.

I'll ignore your misconceptions but why would you want to create another guild when you can help build this one? I find it hard to imagine any reasons for not helping to improve YDoG when you go ahead and create another guild.
Any for everyone else I want you to all know YDoG will be greatly improved during our 5th Anniversary. I am working on many different areas of the guild and will bring all of these updates online at the same time during the celebration.

Really I just wanted my own place with a few of the people to rogue to fit in here. You know some of the ones that have been banned ro find themselves in conflict with the guilds ideals. I'm still here, I'm still working and like this I'm fine. My guild is just starting, we have like 8 members. So really it's not so much that I chosen one over the other, but that I want to help your guild and grow my own.

I assume little kids on Gaia want to have bragging rights about owning their own Guild that relates to a popular card game. Possibility though.

Who cares if people create other yu-gi-oh guilds?
They're just places for people to shoot the breeze and talk about yu-gi-oh separated from the rest of the pile of threads that is Gaia.
I mean, I'm part of several (and vice captain of one) and none of them move particularly fast, even this one has slowed down greatly.
They're just guilds, it's not that bog of a deal.
