Tip of the Day: Eating slowly can lead to weight loss

Did you ever notice that thin people take an awfully long time to eat their food? Eating slowly is one method that can help take off pounds. That's because from the time you begin eating it takes the brain 20 minutes to start signaling feelings of fullness. Fast eaters often eat beyond their true level of fullness before the 20 minute signal has had a chance to set in. The amount of calories consumed before you begin to feel full can vary significantly depending on how quickly you eat. So slow down, take smaller bites and enjoy and savor every tasty morsel.

You burn so many calories with a kayak
It's a great ab exercise because if you use your arms you will hurt your shoulder.

2 more days being home can't wait to go back to school !!!

Tip of the Day:
Mine sweep for calorie bombs. Losing weight is not about discipline or willpower, it's about taking charge of your environment. So get rid of all that high-fat, high-calorie junk in your kitchen and replace it with healthful, lowfat fare

Tip of the Day: Chocolate
Chocolate is perhaps the best thing ever, but it can have a bad after-effect on your hips. Instead of milk chocolate, get some dark chocolate. Personally, I LOVE dark chocolate. Dark chocolate has less fat than milk chocolate, plus many, many more immunity boosting antioxidants. However, don't get the idea you can have the whole thing in a day. Try to make the bar last 3-5 days.

ugghhhh I had to go to dinner with my dad who I can't stand ( he has mental problems ) So I ate a lot....

Tip of the Day: Breakfast really important, and i noticed it too! eating breakfast actually gives you energy for your workouts and increases your metabolism. i didn't really believe this bullshit ( yes, i called it bullshit ) so i did a small procedure to check the difference of a day without breakfast, and a day with breakfast. i went through the same exact route when i went bike riding. i got tired at an earlier point the day i went without breakfast, and the day i ate breakfast, i became tired at a later point. don't over do breakfast. a good breakfast can be an egg sandwich on whole wheat bread, a green apple, maybe a yogurt and a cup of whatever ( nothing artificial, no sodas and caffeine free ). i go with a cup of water, cause then i'll have seven more to go ;D. another breakfast idea is a small or medium sized bowl of your favorite sugarless cereal. raisin bran is good, so is cherrios, special k, and total. special is what i eat. they have many flavors too, and they're all very delicious. my favorites are vanilla almond and fruits and yogurt.
