my best combo i will explain effects to point it out
1.my opodent has a blue eyes and a goyo on there side of the fieald
2.i have turbo cannon in attack with ribbon of rebirth equip to cannon and two face downs.
my opodent battle phase and attack with goyo
(combo)
i actavate Synchro Barrier:effect: tryibute one synchro monster on my side of the fireld and i do not take eney damage this turn .. but i chain with Remote Revenge:effect:actavate only when a monster i control is targeted by a spell ,trap or monster effect that destroyes 1 monster on my side of the fireald, switch the target to a approiate monster your oppodent controls., so thanks to Remote Revenge im able to tryibute my opoodents goyo(synchro monster), stoping that attack and when the blue eyes attacks my monster i will take no damage at all thanks to the SYnchro Barrier, then when my oppodent ends his/her turn i can summon back my turbo cannon by Ribbon of Rebirth effect. to use cannons effect and destroy the blue eyes and giving -1500 damage to my opoodents life points.

"Tribute" and "destroy" are different things. You cannot chain Remote Revenge as a response to Synchro Barrier.
