Cool, I'm doing the same thing in the morning! Well, besides the gym part. I either cycle or jog. But it's a good move because you're burning stored energy rather than your breakfast.

I am so sore from all my exercise today.
And it's kind of like,
i'm going to force myself to go to the gym tomorrow
because otherwise i'll stop.
I played on my sister's Wii Fit tonight,
and according to it i've gained 1.3 kilos gonk
Is it because i weighed at night instead of morning?
God I hope so.

It's probably that night/morning thing. Weight fluctuates throughout the day, and it makes sense that you'd weigh more at night after eating and drinking. And it's a different scale, and maybe you've gained some muscle. =3

So in the last week, I have been eating really well
compared to my usual diet,
and exercising more than I have in a year.
This morning I weighed myself about an hour after I woke up
[my best friend was stranded in town and needed a way home]
and my weight has gone up 800g.
WHAT..
THE ******** mum kept telling me that weightloss will fluctuate,
and I know muscle is denser than fat,
and my muscles will have to rebuild themselves from a year
of hibernation,
but it's still really disheartening to know i've gained weight
when i've completely changed all of my habits.
sad sad sad

Don't lose heart. You all will gain and lose water weight, seeing as our body is made mostly of it. How often do you weight yourself? I suggest locking your scale in a closet and bring it out only once a month. You wanna see results? Get a measuring tape and take your measurements once a month. If you are actually losing size, that will tell you.

Also, if you continue going at this pace and are not seeing any results, you should change something more up. usually either upping the exercise load or taking out a couple hundred calories helps when you plateau.

you cant plateau after just a week. Its more likely that because you've increased your exercise you are retaining a bit of water. Try upping your water intake, that might shift it

How often do you weigh yourself? Maybe it'd be better to pick a day (morning before breakfast) and only weigh yourself once a week/fortnight/month/whatever. That way you'd see overall results and not minuscule fluctuations that would only serve to dishearten you. Just keep at it, it'll get better.

I only weigh myself once a week.
The wii was because i had to create a character.
It just really upset me that i'd done a lot of work to find out i'd gained.
